He's a great and compassionate Doctor and I am back in Harford County and I am going to call and go back to Him asap

Many of us loved Dr. Halstead & were saddened by the closing of his practice which he chose to do and not because of writing illegal prescriptions as was written by someone here & by the way that was his medical asst who did that and was prosecuted for it. Dr. Halstead's dream had always been natural medicine which he was not really able to do it fully while working in the compacity of a regular doctor & giving pills is not always the answer in seeing someone well. I don't know what happened but Dr. Halstead is no longer practicing medicine.

Was notified by letter, received three days after his practice closed that we would need to find another doctor. This is pure patient abandonment. I finally contacted him and was able to get our records (at a cost of $40.00} Shameful !!!! He said he decided on a career change and will be a health and wellness coach, which he explained as being like a doctor but without prescribing medications. Also about that late arriving letter......he said it was so difficult to get "all those letters" out in a timely manner. My letter was on plain typing paper, no letterhead, dated June 5 (three weeks before it arrived on June 27th) and without a signature. We loved Dr. Halstead but just found out he closed his practice with no notice to us. We only found out when the pharmacy refused to refill my husband’s prescription as the doctor was no longer in practice. Called his office and left a message which he returned and left the message that he could not refill the prescription and we should find another doctor. Very disappointed in how this was handled. I needed to make an appointment with my wife. When I called the number provided on WebMD it immediately went to a voice messaging service. The service required that I entered the phone number I was calling followed by the # sign. I followed the instructions and the service state the phone number was not valid.

Very knowledgeable and friendly. Staff is great also. Best Doctor I have been to.

Years ago I was starving to death with Malabsorption Syndrome and was just about out of my mind from hormone issues. Dr. Halstead knew exactly how to treat my problems that other Drs. had no clue of how to help me and saved my life. I highly recommend him. The plus is that he's also a really nice person.

By far, Dr Halstead is one of the best MD'S that Harford County has! He really listen to his patients. My husband and I have unfortunately moved across the country and have not found another doctor equal to Dr Halstead.

Went to Dr. Halstead as a new patient transferring from another primary care physician. The wait was short and the doctor was very nice and gave me a great examination. Overall I must say I'm glad I switched to Dr. Halstead and I recommend him to any patient looking for a primary care physician or switching like myself.

I have been a patient of Dr. Halstead for 22 years. He started being my personal physican when I relocated back to MD in 1993. He was excellent as my son's physican from 93 to present. I appreciate being able to receive referrals and an appointment at a moments notice. Kind, efficient and courteous service always. Patients are provided with a sincere doctor who cares about their alignments. I would reccomend to anyone who appreciates a good physican.
