His staff are poorly trained and incompetent.

Dr. Chu is extremely thorough ,is kind and compassionate.

I Saw Dr Chu for about a year, and his actual care was really good. The problem was the wait times were horrible, sometimes an hour late! On top of that, he would only see you for one issue at a time, because of billing. So as a disabled veteran, with multiple issues, access to care with Dr Chu was way too limited, and way too frustrating. But the worst part was the staff. While Dr Chi was a good physician, his nurses never seemed to care, and lacked compassion. And the office mismanaged well over half of my referral needs for specialty care, something required by my insurance, because I could not see a specialist without primary care referral. Sometimes I had to ask two or three times to get referrals to orthopedic doctors for my I juries, and neurology for the headaches/migraines. This delay meant dealing with issues one to two months longer than should have. In the end, this became too much to bear, and I had to switch doctors.

I have never experienced a more compassionate physician in all my years and I work in healthcare. Dr. Chu just recently became part of our network but I've been going to him for years because of his compassion and kindness. He truly cares about every patient.

Dr Chu has been my doctor for many years. I have found him to be a great listener and very thorough in his examinations. He does not rush through our visits and explains carefully what he has found. He is a very kind and gentle doctor.

Dr. Chu deserves nothing but the highest praise. Both of my parents have seen Dr. Chu since I was in pediatric care. When I turned 21, I started seeing Dr. Chu too. I have never felt like a person outside of my family genuinely cared about me like this man has made me feel. He listens… Truly listens to his patients. He cares about every person he sees. You may experience a wait time when you come for your appointment, but you’ll quickly see that’s because Dr. Chu wants to take as much time as necessary to address every issue a patient has. My family and I have been with Dr Chu for over twenty years. One of the most, if not the most, trusted, compassionate and ethical doctor I’ve had treat me and the pleasure to know.

I went to Dr. Chu based on a recommendation from a friend who is a doctor in the area. Best choice I could have made. Dr. Chu is very thorough and asks a lot of questions. He ordered blood work to get an idea of my overall health. He listened to my responses and follows up on any areas of concern. He has a great personality and is thoughtful. I have had zero problems with his staff and they have been responsive and courteous. He also has an online portal that I use that is up to date. He can run a little late but I have no issue with that. I know that he takes the time to diagnose and listen to each patient. He really cares, even called me at home on a Sunday when he was concerned I might have a blood clot.

Dr. Phil Chu is a most caring doctor. He pays attention to everything you say and is so very thorough in his examinations. I have been going to see Dr. Chu for many years not and I credit his caring concern for my health. At 83 years of age one needs the best and I personally feel Dr. Phil Chu is one of the very best.

Dr. Chu is very thorough and truly cares, but his office staff is the opposite. Also, be available to spend hours waiting to get in. At my last appointment I was seen 4 hours after my appointment.

Dr. Chu is an excellent physician- the last of his kind. The wait times are attributed to the fact that he thoroughly assesses EACH patient during their visit. Most physicians rush you out after 5-10 minutes. I don’t mind waiting for a doctor willing willing to listen to my concerns as he does for each and every one of his patients.

Dr Chu is very skilled, professional and compassionate. He answers calls in a timely manner and helps patients practice preventative medicine. I trust him implicitly and have referred many people to his practice. He gives you as much time as you need and never rushes you.

Worth the wait! He takes his time to make sure each person has all their needs met. I really appreciate his attention to detail and care. However, I am not marking down for their terrible phone electronic system, which I really dislike.

Dr. Chu is the most considerate, knowledgeable, and thorough doctor I've ever seen. I have every confidence in him and recommend him to everyone I know.

You might have to wait a little, but well worth it. Super friendly and very thorough. I’m a pretty new patient but I really like Dr Chu. Highly recommend if you don’t mind waiting for quality care.

Dr. Chu is the best doctor I have had. Always very thorough and very helpful. He has NEVER rushed me through the exam. Sometimes I wait a little more than others. Well worth the wait.

I made an initial appointment with Dr. Chu and forgot about the appointment by mistake. . .I apologized about missing the appointment and the receptionist told me that I needed to "go find a new PCP" because I was kicked out of the system. She was very rude, unsympathetic, and unforgiving. If this is how Dr. Chu runs his office, I am more than glad to find another PCP. . Even if he came with high recommendations. . .he and his office wont get that from me. Family and friends will know!!!

I have the upmost respect for Dr Chu as a physician. I recommend him often to anyone needing a outstanding physician.

I have been going to Dr. Chu for 15 years. He is a kind, knowledgeable, understanding, keeps up on the latest medical news & does not rush you when you are seen. It is difficult to find a doctor who does all of these things!!

Takes forever to get in and see the doctor and when you do get in he wants to hurry and push you out. Plus his staff and nurses are very rude! Had to get an EKG and the nurses made rude comments about Mr. I mentioned it to Dr. Chu and he didn't do a dam thing about it. Good luck to whoever sees this man.

Doctor Philip Chu is the best doctor I have ever had!! None better!! I like him so much that I have been seeing him for almost 30 years!! He treats each patient as one of his own family. Every person I have referred to him keeps going back too.

No compliant about Dr Chu. I don't like to get there 15 minutes before appointment time then sit and wait 2-3 houres. It make no sense.

Dr. Chu is great. He's very caring and thorough. But I am getting a new doctor because I don't have time to wait up to 4 hours past my appointment time and it's ridiculous. Whoever handles their scheduling needs to be replaced with someone who understand what they are doing.

I have been going to Dr. Chu for several years. I would not want to go to any one else. He is very thorough in his examinations and I trust him completely.

I've been with Dr. Chu for a very long time and he's great! Only issue I've had is with scheduling urgent visits and the office wait time.

I have experienced over 13 years of the highest quality medical care from Dr. Chu. He is the best doctor I have known and I don't plan to ever change doctors. He is thorough, intelligent, and has brilliant insight.
