I give Dr. Peter Wirtz a standing ovation. Dr. Wirtz corrected my very pigeon toed legs. In 1976 he went in and cut my bone off above the knee and rotated everything below the cut bone outwards so that my leg would be straight and not positioned inward. He then drilled three holes in my bone and placed sterling steel rods through the holes and then secured the pins into a cast that went fron my hip to my toe. He did the same to my other leg in 1977. So much respect & gratitude for Dr. Wirtz.
