I have been very fortunate to have found Dr. McKernan and his staff. The office staff is exceptional. Dr. McKernan is very experienced, therefore able to help me manage my condition. He is awesome. If you need a great ENT please see him. You will be happy.

This doctor is very greedy and he takes advantage of you. He was awarded best doctor in 2018 award BUT its NOT the REALITY of his TRUE character. Everyone who I know who has gone here does not like the way he operates business. He is very manipulative & greedy and he wants to Get as much test done and appointments scheduled to get paid off as much as possible for no good reason by you and your insurance company. I had a perforated eardrum and was prescribed A cream and eardrops and medicine for an ear infection which was the first time I had a perforated eardrum and then it happened again where it was popped open and I had a perforated eardrum for a second time. I use a cream by mistake that was not the same medicine that I was originally prescribed which as a result thinned out my outer ear tissues and I constantly feel both my ears popping & same affect as it feels when you’re in an airplane with Constant discomfort and pressure. It was confirmed by another ear nose and throat associates doctor that my tissues were thinned out and I tried to explain this to Dr. Mcernan and he looked at me like I was dumb and like i didn’t know what I was talking about and like as if I don’t know what I’m experiencing. Dr Mcernan wanted me to get a brain ct scan after having had like three different audio exams with no reasonably bad results from the audiologist exam because he wants you to keep being billed for no reason for the same result. He told me that because I was young and healthy that he really didn’t deem it necessary and then when I reminded him of this he disputed it with me as if I was a liar and made it all up out of absolutely nowhere !? And he wants to keep scheduling you so that he can keep getting the insurance $$$ ???? and Office fees ????! NOT WORTH YOUR TIME & MONEY. They also tried to charge me a no show fee for an appointment that I was not properly informed of ! ! Turned out they did not have the correct contact information on file and I never received an email or a phone call for an appointment reminder. They never even gave me a business card with the appointment time on it ..they just verbally told me that they would see me in a couple weeks but I never got any correspondence to be reminded of this appointment time but was charged and sent a bill in the mail. Best ENT I have ever met! Staff was great! First ENT that didn't brush me off with my Burning Mouth Syndrome like most do because they have no clue. I felt he was a compassionate doctor who was willing to help me out and took his time with me to explain a lot of things. I would highly recommend him.

I was a patient of a dermatologist who said my ear after surgery was good .But when I went to Dr. McKernan a week later he said I had a serious infection of the ear which might require surgery . But after four weeks of treatment I’m happy to say this good report of 99.9% cured . I would highly recommend Dr.McKernan for your ear,nose, and throat services. Earlier this week I saw Dr McKernan for what I thought was hearing loss only to learn it was from years of wax build up. He was very thorough at explaining my problem and plan. Then he immediately cleaned my years and I was hearing better than ever. In addition his office manager was very kind and patient and helped me out with my one year old daughter as I had my ears cleaned. The office works as a great team. Recently I met with Dr McKernan to treat my daughter’s ear infection. His office staff went above and beyond to cater to my needs. And as a busy dad his staff was awesome at helping me out with my insurance plan and making us feel comfortable. But most important, was the service from the nurse and doctor. Their friendly smile and bedside manners made us all feel welcome. My picky daughter left with a treatment plan and later wanting to go back for another illness :) but sadly he only treats ENT. Dr. Mckernan is a great doctor. Very caring and knows his stuff. His staff is very friendly as well.

Dr. McKiernan. Is very thorough, by explaining my condition in depth. He attentively listened to all of my complaints about my condition, with patience. He is kind and compassionate. His office staff Liz, Patty and others are welcoming and very friendly. Rip-off. Will try to get you in multiple times for no good reason to charge the visit fees. My first visit, I went for ringing in years. I was hoping to know why. But he just gave some drops to put in my ears and told me to come back 2 weeks later for audiogram as the person who does audiogram was gone for the day...at 1.30 pm. Ok understandable. Also, his ear cleaning procedure was very rough!! Second visit, I was 20 mins late for 9.30 appt. The girl said can't do audiogram as I am late, but insisted to see the doctor. I was thinking, I am there to do audiogram first, whats the use of seeing Dr "again" without audiogram. So I said no and re-scheduled visit to do both at same time ...which is a norm everywhere. So, 3rd visit same day. 2.30 pm. On time, went in for audiogram and the lady told me we can only do audiogram but you can't see Dr. today, you have to come see him next time for results. The reason was that he was busy, but i only saw only 1 patient in office. But nobody called me to inform this in advance or I cud have rescheduled it. It doesn't make sense to do audiogram one day and then see doctor some another day to go over results..for another visit charge off course. I told the lady at the front.. I am here, audiogram is done and I can wait to see Dr. She said can't do it. I reluctantly scheduled 4th visit but cancelled it later because I decided... next visit I am taking my business somewhere else to someone who is honest and respectful towards the patients and especially their time. Meticulous and informative. Saw Me on time every time

The doctor was very knowledgeable and explained in detail reasons for my ear pain. It was nice to be in a medical office that was competent from the minute I checked in until I was checked out. This physician actually listens!

I was impressed from the minute I scheduled my appointment. The staff was helpful and went out of their way to get me in to see the doctor immediately. Dr. McKernan took time to listen to my concerns and explained what procedures needed to be done. This Doctor knows his stuff and I would recommend him to anyone.

He will push for more tests to make money. Its becoming more and more common. Inconsiderate and rushing to see the next wallet. Apparent that he does not like his job and no sympathy for patients. Finding another Doctor~!

Dr McKernan is a great doctor! He was engaging during my appointment and very clearly communicated with me. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a doctor who clearly cares about his patients!
