Peter Chun-Chung Mann

I have been a patient of Dr. Mann since he joined Dr. Norman Freid's office in Snellville (at least 20 years). Dr. Mann was always courteous, willing to take time to explain test results and explain procedures. I went for my July appt this past summer and it was like a different person was in his body!! He was short with me, argumentative, and generally rude. The office staff for this practice is absolutely the worst. They are supposed to fax orders for mammograms, mail orders for mammograms to patients, take care of situations where you get to the imaging center and there's no order but they seem to not be able to handle any of that. Dr. Mann even said to me that he was sure his staff had done nothing wrong even though I had a record of about 6 calls to them while I was waiting in the imaging center for them to send the orders that were to have been sent months before. I waited for 3 hours for them to finaly find someone who could sign the orders and fax them.

Worst office staff ever...never return a phone call...called 5 times..loved Dr.Mann...too bad his staff is incompetent..I had to find another dr...I do not trust this office would ever notify me if something was wrong.

Dr. Mann is one of the most professional and thorough doctors I have ever had in my 68 years of life. He was extremely thorough in his exam and gave a thorough diagnosis. I was encouraged with the treatment plan. He spent a lot of time explaining my medical situation and answered all my questions. He is there for his patients. I highly recommend Dr. Mann.

I would give a zero if I could. First trying to get an appointment it’s like trying to enter the White House, left a message and no one called me back. When I finally get someone, not the most personable, she’s telling me that he won’t see me without my GYN records, I’m trying to see him for a urology problem not gyn, there isn’t anything in those records that I can’t tell him myself. Getting those records would cost me money versus him requesting them once I sign a release of records form. Never seen anything like this. Extremely disappointed. I would give a zero if I could. I went to Dr Mann as a follow up to an ER visit, seemed a bit arrogant but nothing wrong with kn owing you're good at what you do. Anyway, confirmed a cyst on my ovary, assured me there was nothing to be concerned with but to have it removed. Tried to get in touch with the lady that schedules the surgeries and left a multitude of messages that were never returned, in fact I was on hold one time before they went to lunch finally hung up and called back to find out they were at lunch. I have been seeing Dr. Mann for 8 years now. His bed side manner is second to none. He is patient and explains every option even providing researched information for those like me who prefer evidence based practice solutions. Dr. Mann listens and explains things very well. I went to him for a second opinion regarding surgery and ended up changing to his practice as my gynecologist. I highly recommend Dr. Mann.

Dr Mann got himself and his practice kicked out of Eastside .. he’s lost several patients in “routine” surgeries. I heard this rumor and then point blank asked him and he confirmed it. He’s fine for normal visits but anything complex beware

I just moved to the area from New York....so finding a doctor you like is daunting to say the least...My experience with Dr.Mann has been wonderful...he explains everything and clearly...and seems very compassionate...so happy I found him...I would highly recommend him.

Went in for a consult. Dr. Mann provided a thorough exam and answered all of my questions. He spent quite a bit of time going over all of my options. He has also treated a family member in the past with excellent results.

He doesn’t listen. He’s arrogant and condescending. People say he’s a great surgeon but he has a terrible bedside manner. Would never recommend him!

Went there when my GYN dropped patients who became Medicare eligible. After awhile they recommended Prolia for my osteoporosis. Then received a letter in January 2018 that they would no longer treat my condition. Had to find a new doctor again. Had to have a tooth removed followed by an implant. It has been 1 and a half years being treated because of the Prolia. No explanation or apology about the Prolia problem.

I just love Dr.Mann. He explain issues so even a 5 year old can understand everything.

Doesn’t allow the patient to tell symptoms. Doesn’t listen wants to hurry and examine without asking questions. Terrible follow up and does not return calls when have questions.

Dr. Mann is an excellent doctor and so gracious. Never have to wait very long. He has performed surgery and I have had no problems since. His office staff is also top of the line and excellent follow thru with the patients.

I was a scared 71 year old with prolapse. Dr. Mann was recommended by another gynecologist because of his expertise in this area. I was treated with kindness and respect by Dr. Mann and his entire staff. He performed a robotic assisted hysterectomy with all the benefits. Three weeks after surgery I can honestly say I can tell a huge difference. Thank God for this knowledgeable and gifted surgeon. I now have a better quality of life to which I can look forward. Thank you, Dr. Mann.

Excellent doctor!

I saw this doctor as a teenager due to a sports injury. I cannot even describe my experience because it was horrific. My only hope is if he still sees younger patients that his bedside manner has improved. My experience was so terrible my pediatrician was furious. This one experience scarred me.

Dr. Mann is very professional and a great doctor. I'd recommend him to anyone in need of gynecological care. He takes the time to explain and answer questions you may have.

Everyone there went above and beyond to help us. Dr. Mann took a lot of time explaining until he was sure that we understood. Faye, the lady who sets up surgeries, did an outstanding job pulling everything together. We are so thankful.

He has no beside manners and very insensitive. His staff is friendly however, every time I see Dr. Mann, he seems to be more concerned with bringing "unwanted babies in 2017" than actually helping you figure out what's going on. His solution is birth control for everything. Not sure if he has a lot of clients that terminate pregnancy, but I am a married women, with a child already. I can handle my own, birth control is not an option for me and I've voiced this, but he doesn't seem to care.

Great doctor, he is so smart and explains everything so I can understand it. Searched for 10 years since I moved to Georgia for a gynecologist who I could trust and have confidence in. I finally found Dr. Mann and now I feel so confident in my care. He sits down and really listens to my concerns.

Our experience with Dr. Mann was one of the best experiences we have ever had with health care provider. The entire staff was amazing. Dr. Mann was very knowledgeable and thorough. He made sure we felt very comfortable before my wife went in for her surgery. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a new physician. Dr. Mann is the best.

My experience with Dr. Mann is 100% positive. I was recommended to Dr. Mann after having a previous failed surgery. His expertize and knowledge of both GYN and Urology surgeries, plus his candid yet compassionate bed side manner told me that I had chosen the right doctor. I am forever grateful to the friend that recommended Dr. Mann.

I am so happy that I waited to have my surgery and I was highly recommended to go to Dr. Peter Mann. I found him to be very courteous and kind. He explained everything to me in laymen's term. Absolutely the most thorough and conscientious physician I have found in many years. His staff is outstanding but it is Dr. Mann's bed side manner and down to earth personality that helps to remove the stigma that can make a GYN experience challenging and dreaded. Until becoming a patient of Dr. Mann's I had always felt that only a woman OB/GYN could create trust, empathy and understanding for conditions involving the female anatomy. Take the recommendation to try his practice.

I am constantly telling everyone looking for a doctor about Dr. Mann and Gwinnett Gynecology. I suffer from Endometriosis and Interstitial Cystitis. Before finding this office I was misdiagnosed several times and put through painful and unnecessary treatments. Dr. Mann saw me the first time and he was one of the first doctors to treat me like a person and not simply a number, and he and I came up with a treatment plan I felt comfortable with. He's one of the most compassionate drs I've seen.

Not sure where to start. Aside from a yearly physical, I have never in my life needed to see a doctor for any reason. This was my first time seeing a specialist. Dr. Mann has really great reviews, so I decided to wait 3 weeks just to get an appointment with him. He seems like a very confident doctor, but I really wish I didn’t choose him as the doctor to help me with the problem I was having and still have. Only two visits and he has honestly ruined my life. I really wish I was one of those lucky people who Dr. Mann helped instead of changing my life forever. To start, while speaking with him during my appointments, it felt as if he didn’t believe what I was telling him, as if I was lying about my symptoms and how I got to where I was. All of my tests were negative but he still prescribed me so much medication to take. I trusted his judgment because he is a doctor and he let me down. I spoke to my new PCP and she said it was completely unnecessary for him to have prescribed me all of those medications when my tests were all negative. I specifically remember asking if he’s sure that I needed the medications that he prescribed and then I told him I don’t feel I need all those meds, mostly because I don’t like the thought of taking medication unless I absolutely need it. In the end, he basically scared me into taking it mentioning the future of my kids. Of course, i’ll take the medication and stop asking questions if someone mentions a risk to me being able to have kids in the future. After 4 days of being on the medications I was in so much pain and bleeding because of the meds I called his office to ask if I should stop taking them and he advised the nurse to tell me to keep taking the meds. I’m in my 20’s and my life has taken a turn for the worse. The side effects of all the unnecessary medications that were given to me has cause so much damage to my body that I am still unwell 4 months later. I’ve missed so much work and can’t live the normal life that I lived before going to him. I am so deeply saddened by this entire situation. Not sure where to start. I have been under Dr Mann's care for 6 years. He has performed two successful surgeries on me. The consummate professional. I was referred having a painful autoimmune condition difficult to treat.

Dr. Mann was very helpful and professional and took time to discuss different options for my situation. He made it very understandable. I appreciated the time he spent one-on-one with me. I would definitely recommend him!

Dr. Mann is the best OBGYN I have seen. He is thorough, he explains everything and it means a lot to me that he is consistently voted one of the BEST OF in the Atlanta area by his peers. My daughter is also in the Atlanta area, but not so convenient to Dr. Mann's practice. When we found she needs surgery for an ovarian cyst, there was no question that we were transferring care to Dr. Mann!

Dr Mann, You have always been very professional and very kind to me. I think you are a great doctor and you are a very skilled surgeon. However, I can't say the same for some of your staff. I saw you last May and just a week ago, 10 months later, I received a bill for $111. I have not had to pay anything with my Medicare until now. And 10 months later?. I paid the bill but I will not be back to your office. This was very unprofessional and I was talked rudely to when I called.

I've been visiting this office for 10 years now. I've started seeing Dr Mann the past year and had average visits with him. He has a lot of experience but lacks manners. This last visit was about all I'm going to tolerate. He'll ask you questions to then criticize, lecture you as if your a child and insult you. He loves to hear himself talk. I get the third degree because I take 2 Advils for pain as needed instead of his recommended 3 Advils 4 times a day. Really??!!
