Very helpful Dr. and team. Dr. Lee is extremely knowledgeable and responsive. GI symptoms in children is difficult, complicated and stressful for families. You can tell Dr. Lee cares and explains things with ease and patience. His team (nurse + dietitian) have also been stellar and supportive during our child's ongoing difficult GI issues. We're grateful for his time and guidance. Be prepared to come with questions and call to schedule ahead of time because like many great doctors, their schedules fill up quick and far out. Dr. Lee took time to see my daughter and explained everything in detail. You can tell he likes what he does and has an interest in the patient.

Dr. Peter is the worst ever my daughter always experience stomachaches and heartburn and I took her to Dr. Peter they did an endoscopy for my daughter and said she was and she had to take 40 mg omeprazole but they didn't cover it for and when ever I called they didn't even answer the call is also the worst they have the baddest call service they put you in hold and never answer. When my grandson had a diagnosis requiring a specialist, we first tried UVA and the doctor there did not explain anything to me. We then turned to Dr. Peter Lee. He was and is a wonderful. Knowledgeable doctor. He explained this very complicated diagnosis to where I could understand it and my little grandson could understand what was going on with him. I highly recommend Dr Peter Lee. It can be frustrating when calling them for the first time, as INOVA has many office throughout the metropolitan area. You will call a switchboard and be prompted to the department you are looking for. Then you are able to leave a message with their nurse, and Dr. Lee will call you himself, in most cases. This doctor is the worst I’ve ever seen in my life. The appointment was for my 10 yrs old daughter who had covid and was choking with food. He thought my daughter could drink 2,3 or 7 ensure a day and she will be fine with that if she can’t eat. He is very arrogant and don’t care about his patients. Stay away from this guy.

Don’t waste your time with him. He misdiagnosed me with ulcerative colitis when I was 12, As I got worse and worse he turned my parents against me and made them make me take a medicine that would later cause me to have one of the worst experiences in my life. His only answer was to prescribe more and more medicine. That’s literally all he was capable of. I went to Johns Hopkins after I refused to ever go to him again. They immediately understood that I didn’t have ulcerative colitis but I had chrons disease. The medicine he had be prescribing me was a tell tale sign that if it wasn’t working, I didn’t have ulcerative colitis. Do not send your children to him. Don’t waste your time with him. Dr Lee listened to my daughter's descriptions of symptoms very attentively. He queried her at appropriate times, made candid suggestions and observations. He explained his treatment strategy so that my daughter had a thorough understanding of what was to come. Excellent demeanor. Excellent communicator
