Appointments are never rushed and he addresses my concerns and explains treatments and options.

He is very knowledgeable and was able to help me with my problem. He also has good manners which helps when someone isn't feeling 100%.

Dr Costa took the time to do a thorough exam and to try to understand what was causing my pain. He explained how NSAID's can work differently and their side effects and he ordered more Xrays to pinpoint problem. Office staff was friendly and polite.

Excellent, understandable description of the problem and clear explanation of the options for treatment or adapting to the issue.

Dr. Costa is thorough, thoughtful, and very knowledgeable. I never feel rushed or dismissed. He is concerned with his patient's care and tries to do the best by them. I would recommend him to anyone in need of an orthopedic doctor.

Dr. Costa, IMO is a pompous,arrogant, person. Was in the hospital for 6 weeks after 2 surgeries. While in, had found out I suddenly lost my sister. I was on the phone with her the night before,so it was VERY shocking! Had also lost my dad and aunt, shortly thereafter, so needless to say I was quite sad .Upon release,was referred to Dr. Costa for Physical Rehab therapy. After waiting for over 20 minutes in the exam room, (on top of a 40 minute plus wait in the waiting room), He popped in to say he was running behind & would be right back, however made a note in my chart , which I thought was strange, as he was only in my room for a few seconds? Was curious as to what he could have possibly written ,since we had not even spoke yet? I looked at his chart note & it said " Uncooperative". How could i have possibly been uncooperative,from a one sentence exchange? When he finally came back in, i asked him why He wrote that. He stated because i didn't respond when he said he would be back. I asked him how one was supposed to respond, beside 'ok"? When I followed up with my referring Dr. He told me he received a nasty note from Dr. Costa, about me, & was not happy ,so asked me what happened? No Dr likes to receive an unflattering note when they refer a patient. Thankfully,My Dr & I shared a 2 decade plus relationship,so told him my side of the story. My Dr. said he thought it was "out of character" from his experiences with me over so many years. Needless to say, I didn't go back to Costa and my Dr. no longer referred him. Telephone appointment. Excellent.

Dr Costa is very kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure meeting him.

Talks to you in English not Dr. And always makes sure you understand. He's very patient and caring. Thank him and the staff at Tahoe Fracture.

Dr. Costa was absolutely amazing!! He explained the whole process of my EMG through out and made me feel at ease

As an RN, I have to say Dr Costa is Awesome! He truly took the time to listen and performed a thorough exam. He had X-rays taken and referred me to physical therapy. Excellent and Exceptional Care. The office staff is great too!! No grumpy faces, a smile on their face and treated all patients with respect. I have to say I would refer anyone to him! Thank You Dr Costa and Staff P.S. Had trouble with the Ratings Section FYI 8/8 in All Areas..??

Very good. As a new patient I did not know what to expect. The office and staff were very pleasant, and I greatly enjoyed meeting Dr. Costa. He was knowledgeable, interested in my concerns, spent a lot of time with me and our interactions were extremely easy. I look forward to working with him to resolve my physical issues.

Dr Costa listened and actually looked at my problem something rare these days.

Very impressed with Dr Costa. Very thorough in his exam and pinpointing the pain. He asked a lot of questions of me and likewise I asked a lot of question of him. Very straight forward in his diagnosis, which I liked. He fitted me with a new back brace, although cumbersome, it helps a lot! Waiting to hear the results of my recent MRI.

Very personable and reasonable. Explains everything he is doing in terms that you can understand. Gives an immediate opinion of your condition, and recommendation for the next step.

Very thorough doctor. Listen to every comment I had, admitted he would need to think outside the box with me. That something most doctors won’t do. I would call him an anatomy investigator. Kind compassionate, clearly explained everything and took his time.

I am a retired RN. I found Dr. Costa to be excellent in all regards. He was on time and spent all the time I needed to do a thorough history, a complete assessment, an easy to understand explanation of issues and treatment options. He was easily accessible, unhurried and very pleasant with great listening skills. I am very lucky to have him on my team!

Horrible doctor did my dad very dirty and wouldn't even authorize his medication. Do not reccomend to anyone.

I was a first time patient of Dr.Costa. He took the time to explain everything that was going on. His staff was also very kind and helpful. I left the appointment feeling relieved and very happy with the care I was provided. If you are looking for a new doctor I highly recommend Dr.Costa.

Excellent, thorough exam, clear explanations, and offered a range of treatments, describing pros and cons of each. Very good follow up.

I highly recommend Dr. Peter Costa, MD. He is extremely knowledgeable. He is focused and asks pertinent questions, runs tests then explains what is causing your pain in such a way that it is easily understood. He then presents options for your recovery. He is quite pleasant and personable. The office building on Mica Drive has X-ray machines, a MRI machine and any other equipment that might be needed so you don't have to run all over if you need these tests.

Dr costa wrote uncooperative in chart, after meeting for under 30 seconds* he excused himself for 25 minutes,& came back, how could he come to THAT conclusion?when he returned, told him i looked to see what he could have possibly written and WHY? because i am severly depressed right now , did not jump off the table with a huge smile makes me uncooperitive? next appt,his staff wrote difft location in book , than on my card,so missed it. when i showed thm the card, they were rude.did not go b

Dr. Costa's examination was very thorough--he clearly explained the MRI findings and recommended what could be done to prevent further damage. I am very pleased with Dr. Costa.
