This was my second colonoscopy done by Dr Cleavinger 10 yrs later. He is very professional, friendly, he gave me time to ask all my questions & answered them thoroughly. I was back in recovery in less than 40 mins, he & his staff are very efficient, caring & compassionate.

I have been seeing Dr. Cleavinger and going to the Columbia Endoscopy Center for several years as they help me manage and monitor my Barrett’s Esophagus. Dr. Cleavinger has the best bedside manner and always makes me feel very comfortable while in his care. GI Associates is a fantastic place. I have been treated like family at this facility for many years now. The staff is very courteous and knowledgeable. Paula is a terrific nurse. Her and Dr Cleavinger are the VERY BEST! I have never had a doctor like Dr Cleavinger. He always shows that he really cares about my total health and wellbeing. Everything from scheduling to the procedure itself went great. He explained the results in detail and the future plan of care. He is very thorough and does a great job during the procedure as well.

I had a routine screening exam but Dr. Cleavinger has one of the best reputations among nurses and other medical professionals. He is thorough with a kind bed side manner - a tough combination to get! He treated my husband as well for inflammatory bowel disease and has barren my GI go- to for ten years.

I've been Dr. Cleavinger patient for over 18 yrs. He and his team are the best. I always get the answers to my questions and never feel like I'm being rushed out of the office. I'm usually seen at the time of my appt and never have to wait too long. With the portal they have now you can ask questions, get test results or documents very easily. I Would say they always resoond the same day. Very personal, very professional.

Dr. Cleavinger is the most caring doctor that I have ever had. After visiting my hometown doctor for over a year and not getting any better, I was referred to Dr. C. He immediately ordered the correct tests and I finally got the correct diagnosis. He has been my doctor for over 15 years and I wouldn't dream of going to anyone else.

Highly recommend Dr. Cleavinger. He has performed a colonoscopy as well as two endoscopy for me, both flawless. He recommended another specialist for a different health issue I listed...above and beyond...and a great help to me. His office got me in immediately for an endoscopy after a choking issue. Dr. Cleavinger was recommended to me by my primary care physician who also is an excellent doctor. I feel fortunate to be a patient of Dr. Cleavinger.
