Don't ever go there. Nurse practitioner, Tanya and also staffs, Cindy, Bronica, Mabeline are liers. When I had questions to ask Tanya last Wed. I called the office. Cindy told me Tanya would call me next day. She didn't. When I called Friday, Bronica told me Tanya would call me today. When I asked what time, she she she would call Monday for sure. She didn't call me Mon, today. When I called today, Mabeline picked up the phone. She said Tanya would call me today, she wouldn't give me the time also. It was almost end of office hours. When I called again, she told me I didn't schedule what time I wanted to talk to her she couldn't call me. I asked so many times what time. They shouldn't be working there. They play wicked games with people. No respect. Don't ever go there. Nurse practitioner, Tanya and also staffs, Cindy, Bronica, Mabeline are liers. When I had questions to ask Tanya last Wed. Dr Chi took time to carefully answer my questions and gave me assurance by his demeanor that my healthcare is important. This is rare in 2021 to have healthcare professionals who treat each patient individually as important..
This is the worst front fest service I have ever made. Play with you at the phone call.
Make an appointment at five o'clock in the afternoon on Friday. but it closed when I came, waste my time
Dr. Chi is great. But his staff in Arcadia office is worst, worst service I have ever encountered!

The staff is great. They help you with everything they can. Very professional. Dr Chi is a great Doctor.
Worst attending physician at Methodist Hospital! He thinks he’s doing patients a favor with his inept presence. Careless, thoughtless and virtually useless. Do not put your life in his uncaring, arrogant hands.
The worst doctor I have ever experienced. Expect to wait over an hour for a scheduled appointment. His bedside manner is awful. Rude. When I told him my suspicion of what the ailment was - he yelled at me that if I was a doctor and that I needed to be in my place. Absolutely the rudest individual I've ever met.
Literally the worst office staff I have ever encountered. I had not been to a doctor in several years. at the urgings of my wife I made an appointment. At the visit, I am told I need blood work done, but they said they can't do it because I didn't fast. I told them that no one had told me that I had to fast before getting blood work done they said ok, you can come back tomorrow. So i go in the next day and they say I have to pay another co-payment, I said well i already paid yesterday and I would have had the blood work done had some one told me I had to fast so i wouldn't have been charged. They said they assumed that everyone knew you had to fast and I replied well I informed the office member that I made the initial appointment I had not been to a doctor in more than a decade. They said fine I wouldn't be charged. They took my blood and said I would get my results in about 2 weeks. 4 weeks later I call since I had not heard anything from the office. They inform me that I should have made an appointment at the time of the blood draw to get my results. I said no one told me or asked about making an appointment. Before my call, I was also informed that your annual visit is supposed to be free so I asked the lady on the phone about that. You said, she doesn't know why I was charged, but that charge was applied to my visit for the blood work. I told her my long tale, but she didn't seem to care. She said that blood work is not always a part of an annual check up and only if a condition is found that blood work is ordered so not being told that I had to fast before the first check up was not their fault. I told her I had no condition nor was I informed of any condition I had prior to them having the blood work done. Then she put me on hold and another lady jumped on the call. She informed me that I could pick up my blood results for free or I would have to pay the co pay if I wanted the doctor to read the results to me. My biggest issue or issues is the staff all seems to say different things: First, no one informed me I needed to fast before blood work. Second, they charged me a co pay when it was my annual wellness visit and had I not brought that to their attention they would have taken that money. Third, if blood work is only ordered if a condition is found (which is supposedly their policy) then even if you came in for your free wellness check, you probably are going to have to pay something (seems really shady to me). Lastly, the lady I spoke to today told me that the money they shouldn't have been charged was applied to my blood work visit, but no one told me. Her reply was it was something internal and that they didn't need to inform me (even though on that visit the lady that gave the ok for them not to charge me that day, did not know I paid the day before). I could care less about the co pay ($20)....their lack of professionalism, overall lack of logic and strange "policies" makes this place 1 star. The funny thing is, the doctor seemed ok. Dr Chi, you might want to audit your front office staff or these alleged "policies" because something is not adding up Literally the worst office staff I have ever encountered. Literally the worst office staff I have ever encountered. No professionalism whatsoever! They seem to have strange "policies" that seem to solve all their problems. If you want to be treated as just a co payment and not a person, you have found the right place

Dr. Peter Chi is an amazing Doctor, well mannered, with high professional ethics, however his choice of staff is poor. I recently became a patient in his clinic and his staff have been nothing but disrespectful, inconsiderate of the time and impatient; specifically Elvia who happens to be in "charge" of this place and does not take constructive criticism well at all. Every time I call they put me on hold for at least 8 to 10 minutes and their excuse is that this is a clinic and its always busy. Then they pick and say " we will call you back " and then hang up quickly. I call back in 3 hours then Elvia picks up again and said you failed to leave your number? She was upset that I did not leave a number and puts the blame on me. I thought this was a doctors office. shouldn't they have your number on file when you have been there a few times? Finally I tell her what she is doing is unprofessional and she says ok is there anything else? As an educated professional I have never been so disrespected and to see this kind of behavior from another so called professional is beneath me. A professional accepts her mistakes and becomes apologetic, regardless of their mood or background or how they were raised. They do not make a patient feel inferior, they do not make another person feel like their time is less important. I feel sorry for Elvia and I hope she changes her ways because she is the face of the office and if she looks bad Dr. Chi looks bad. I will walk in the clinic today to make a formal complaint about her to Dr. Chi and I cannot wait to see what he has to say about Elvia. Its amazing how much hate there is in the world and people fail to start change within themselves. Apparently the office staff doesn't have phone etiquette. They can't seem to handle "high volume" of calls. My mother called their office 3 times with questions and Stephanie was very rude and told her to stop calling. I've worked in a doctors office and I have NEVER told anyone that they need to stop calling. You simply handle each call with a nice friendly attitude. And when I called in for my mother Stephanie hung up on me. From what I've read in the other reviews the staff seems to be a problem. I wouldn't trust an office that simply doesn't know how to handle phone calls. They might need a reminder that they work in the health field and their compassion and attitudes is what really makes them stick out. Honestly after this experience I wouldn't trust these people with small children or the elderly. Actually anything that is breathing. Dr. Peter Chi if you're reading this I would highly advise a change in staff, if you really do care about your practice. Apparently the office staff doesn't have phone etiquette. Dr Chi was recommended to me by a friend. He is very thorough and more recently, since he moved office, has a much improved appointment system with little or no wait time.
