I visited Dr. Chang last Nov & had some tests done. Since I never received the explanation of benefits from my insurance carrier, I called in Feb this year to make sure the office has filed my claim properly (my insurance claim filing time is 90 days). The billing lady was so friendly, fixed the issue & said the claim will be resubmitted. My insurance then ended. Now I have new insurance, calling to get some information before making a new appointment. The front desk lady didn't show any patience at all. I was asking her about my treatment planning (possibly more tests) & what did I did last year. All she kept asking was my new insurance info. I told her I would like to know what is Dr. Chang going to do before I am scheduling a new appointment since Dr. Chang is in-network with my policy but not in the premium network. She then gave me some amount on the procedures, and those procedures sounded really familiar. It sounded like I've done those last visit, which I actually done it already. Then, I tried to tell her about my call in Feb & my previous insurance doesn't show any payment send to them. She refused to understand the situation & said that I lied & questioned me about how I knew about insurance wasn't filed properly. Lastly, she accused me being unreasonable on the phone just because I want refund from their office. I like Dr. Chang, he is very nice and being patience with me But I will not visit him again because of how bad his front desk treats his patients. Great staff, Excellent doctor, excellent service. Very tentative with his patients.

I’ve been visiting Dr.Chang for several years and his staff. They all to me are 100% professional,attentive and awesome. I wouldn’t ever wanna go to see another Cardiologist or other staff. These people have been more than excellent, they remind me of a caring and loving family.

Awful. The experience was worse than dealing with the Veterans Hospital. New Patient tests 1 month ago. Family medical history recorded wrong. Yesterday the clerk said I had an appointment at 11:15, today "What Appointment". Chang refused to give me the results of my tests until I had a procedure, he required based on the wrong family history. Stay away Chang and His staff are squirrels.

I have been a patient of Dr. Chang's for 15 years and can highly recommend him at all levels. He is thorough and has a comprehensive approach to treatment. I stopped worrying about my heart issues as I know I am in the best of hands.

I was a 5 year patient of Dr. Chang. I lost my job and insurance benefits so I stop seeing him or any Dr. I spent 1.5 years in and out of emergency rooms for my care and to get prescriptions. One day I had to go to Hermann to have test done because of my disability claim. I put him down as a Dr. That I know who treated me in the past. The next day Dr. Chang showed up wearing his bow tie as usual. I explained to him why I had not seen him, and he redponded: "Karen you should have called I would give saw you for free since you were a long time customer." For the next 6 months I saw him for free. Great Dr. That really cares and want stop until he has all the answers. I was a 5 year patient of Dr. Chang. wonderful doctor

Excellent cardiologist ! He is the only physician that uses the ECP (external counterPulsation procedure), which stimulates the formation of small blood vessels into the blocked areas in the heart. No surgery, and great For those that are not a candidate for a stent. Dr. Chang is a brillant, meticulous and caring physician. He saved my life, and eliminated the chest pains!

Dr. Peter Chang made me feel very comfortable from day 1. He explained in detail my problem, and what he would try to fix the pain and problem. He and his wonderful staff are very courteous, professional, and made me feel like I was the only patient she had. Thank You

I saw Dr. Chang for high blood pressure and cholesterol. He and his staff were patient with me as we worked through several drugs to find the ones with the least side effects. They also provided me with samples and discount coupons to help with the cost. A year and a half into treatment, I discovered a meal plan that was designed to cure these problems. I called and explained that I was going to try it. His nurse OK'd it and advised me to keep a close watch on my blood pressure; and let them know if there were significant changes or issues. After six days, my blood pressure was low enough to adjust the medicine. They did adjust it. Within a week, because of great results with the meal plan, I was taken off of the blood pressure medicine. A month later, (and a week without the cholesterol medicine) Dr. Chang tested my blood and discovered I didn't need the cholesterol medicine any longer. He suggested I watch everything closely to make sure it didn't change, as long as I stayed on this great meal plan. What I liked was the open-mindedness of him and his staff, along with the way they monitored the results and made adjustments quickly. The results were that I have been able to get off of prescription drugs. Of course, I understand I must be diligent with the food I eat. But it's great to work with a doctor and staff like this!
