Dr. Peter Carney is the most compassionate pain management doctor that I ve ever been to. I've been to several pain management doctors in the last 10 years looking for a doctor who would treat me for the issues I have & it hasn't always been pleasant. As a matter of fact at times it's been downright depressing & frustrating. I appreciate Dr. Carney for his caring and kindness & his ability to look at me as a person with real ailments that he is willing to treat. I didnt know a doctor like this still existed. Thankyou Dr.Carney. Im forever greatful.

I have been seen bye DR. Carney since 2008 ,He has done a couple of different surgeries on me since then. he cares about his patients, he is honest with you about what he can or cant do for you and if he can not help you he will try to find the right person that can, he has help me a great deal . I had a severe pinched sciatic nerve and Dr Carney did a nerve block in March and I am so glad I had him to treat me. I am doing great and the other doctor i called referred me. He is a wonderful doctor and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him for any back or nerve pain.

My husband Ken visited Dr. Carney because he was in constant acute pain after surgery that led to peripheral nerve pain. He tried standard medications that resulted in side effects and little relief. Dr. Carney instituted a series of nerve stimulation treatments. The results have been a blessing to my husband . His pain is Greatly diminished and his quality of life greatly improved. We are so grateful to Dr. Carney for his concern and compassion. He is a wonderful doctor. He explains all the procedures he implements, he answers all questions and allows the patient to be proactive in their care. Most of all he he is a person with great integrity We are both very grateful to have him as a doctor.

He will hurt you so good :) the least painful doc I have found. He has done Several treatments over the last 10 years to help with pain. Hands done one of the most intelligent doctors you will meet.

In 1999, he expertly removed a brain tumor from my 9 year old son. When I needed neurology I went directly to him for pain from a pinched nerve in my spine and he did a couple of corti-steroid shots to my spine to alleviate the pain. Even then he remembered my son well, and engaged with him as to how he was doing 17 years later. Even at the University of Michigan medical center my son's chemo oncologist said the tumor resection of my son was done very well. I credit him for saving my son's life.

I was referred to Dr. Carney for treatment of Chemo Induced Peripheral Neuropathy in my hands and feet. His treatments gave me back total feeling in my hands and I now have almost total feeling in my feet. It is such a relief to be able to walk up and down stairs and actually feel the floor under my feet. I had the injections in my feet and would highly recommend choosing that route. I am quite pleased with the results.

After years of barely being able to walk and referrals to three other different types of medical specialists that did not provide any pain relief. I was finally referred to Dr. Carney who was able to actually provide a true diagnosis and some relief. He and his staff have been a true blessing, I am very grateful for all their knowledge and patience. I cannot express how grateful I am to be able to walk again. I started to see Dr. Carney and his staff in November, 2018. I've had severe nerve pain from past surgeries from 2011-2012. Have been seen by very respected clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Been seen by neurosurgeons only to be told to go home and take your medicine. They'res nothing we can do. That was a big disappointment! Dr. Carney did 3 procedures on my neck and the 3rd time he relieved the worst pain in my life for 8 1/2 months. I also have neuropathy in my feet and legs from diabetes. Numbness in feet & toes but with a technique called Combined Electrochemical Therapy (CET) I have feeling in my feet that I haven't felt in 8 years. Although I'm not pain free I'm at a level I can tolerate & I owe a debt of gratitude to Dr. Carney & his staff.

Im only giving him 1 star so i could comment. I seen him a couple of times he gave me meds that didnt help at all and i had told him they haven't helped in the pass. I was there for neck and back everytime we talked he would say back and arm i would have to correct it. My granddaughter who is 5 had to go with me and she didnt say a word and he told her she was going to have to shut up. He told me if id lose weight i wouldnt be in pain. If i wasnt in pain and could move around without falling i wouldnt have gained weight and get depression from the pain i have. He did 1 test on me i never went back to see him again. That was over 7months ago then got a notice last week he discharged me. I already had a different doctor so discharge no i left. He has no patients with people talks to u like ur trash. I would not recommended this 1 doctor at all to anyone.. The staff was the only thing nice about going there. Sorry i have to be so blunt and honest about him.. I went to him for 3 months, did everything he said and when I questioned him about raising the dose of one of my medicines he started yelling at me. I'm already on disability for PTSD and he knows that. I started crying and asked why he was yelling at me and he said to get my attention. I responded that I was standing right in front of him speaking to him so what did he mean. He responded that he was writing my scripts out and he wasn't seeing me again. He definitely shouldn't be practicing and I'm filing a report with Medicare among other places. The nurse was sweet as could be, don't know how she works for him.
