Dr. Peter A Bridgman

I was asked by Bridgman and his office staff multiple times if I was sure I had a neurological disease because "that's really rare", "how do you know you HAVE that disease? it's REALLY rare.", and "can you spell that disease for me?" multiple times. Seriously? Can you read my chart? Just because it's rare doesn't mean it doesn't happen, people. I was diagnosed by a neurosurgeon at Mayo Clinic leading the research on this disease! Then when my rare disease was finally verified any imaging that should've been done was totally dismissed (I'm supposed to have MRIs every year) until I hounded the office for months to have the order put in. Months! Bridgman was more interested in other neurological disorders in my family totally unrelated to what I was scheduled for. The icing on the cake? I scheduled a follow-up visit a year later (be ready to wait over a month for an appointment) and had to cancel due to the flu. When I called to cancel I couldn't get through to the office and was too sick to go in. I was discontinued from Bridgman's care due to being a no show ONCE. My medical condition isn't a joke or something to be ignored - if it isn't monitored closely I risk paralysis. One strike and you're out? Give me a break. I'll go to a neurologist who actually knows what the hell they're doing, thanks. He insulted me the second I walked in then told me my problems weren't important and sent me home...

I had Dr. Bridgeman for years in Brunswick. I showed up for my appointment to a completely empty office. He never informed anyone that he was closing.
