Dr. Peter J Bolan

Dr Bolan told me that surgery on my thoracic aneurysm would likely be fatal and didn’t recommend it. Thank God for thoracic surgeons like Dr Matthew David Wooster of the Medical University of SC in Charleston.

Dr Bolan replaced my aortic valve Aug 2014, I was 77 yrs old. My 85 birthday is in several months and I thank him with all sincerety for helping to improve my my day to day life

Very pleased with the care and attention to detail Dr Bolan gave my wife during the entire process of her heart surgery. He takes time with his patients before and after the procedure. He made sure we understood every detail and we never felt rushed out of the office as we have experienced with other doctors these days. Dr Bolan did bypass surgery on my sister and although she made it through surgery very well. Her body was not able to handle it and little by little her organs started shutting down. He was so kind throughout it all. Kept me abreast of everything. Fought hard to keep her alive. He fought for three weeks. On June 23, 2015 I knew something was badly wrong and drove myself to the Emergency Center at Coliseum Hospital. Thankfully Dr. Talley Culclasure and Dr. Peter Bolen were nearby in the hospital that day, near the Emergency Center. Dr. Culclasure quickly diagnosed my problem - I needed triple bypass surgery, I had about an estimated 15 minutes to live. He then introduced me to his favorite heart surgeon - Dr. Bolen. Dr. Bolen smiled at me and said, "I am going to fix this, and when you have healed, you will fell better than you have in a long time." It was absolutely true. Peter Bolen saved my life that day. My father recently had open surgery performed by Dr. Bolan and I cannot say enough good things about him and his staff. His PA Jared Jarrett is a true professional and was great explaining the procedure and my father's options to us pre surgery. My father ended up having a quadruple bypass which was one of the scariest things our family has encountered. I thank God for Dr. Bolan and his staff. Doctor Bolan did my heart surgery, and I must say he is the best in this area. Before during and after the surgery He was a true professional.

Had my Aorta valve replaced along with a triple bypass. My Vascular surgeon recommended Dr. Bolan and all went well. I will need further attention in years to come and I hope Dr. Bolan will be there to do the follow up.

I was fortunate to have Dr Bolan repair/replace.my aortic valve. Diagnosed in 2011 with A.S., my cardio Dr said do nothing and you might live a few more yrs. Bit bullet had surgery in 2014. Life is good. My Cardiologist here in Port St Lucie reports my valve is functioning very well. I am 80 yes old, treadmill 3 times a week Thank You Dr Bolan.

Dr. Bolan's work is just fine he takes pride in his work he put's you at ease and in my case I have almost no scars it's like he never opened my chest and I am doing great. John O. Gantt 11/20/2016

I cannot say enough about how great Dr. Bolan is. He cares not only about the procedure but also in providing the best aftercare. I will not see anyone besides him if at all possible in the future.

Saved my life.very reassuring and explained things well. Knowledgable and competent.

Excellent Dr.!!! He was my Dr. while I was in hospital in Macon, GA for 6 months. He performed 2 of the 6 operations I had. Very friendly and easy to understand. Explains things in great detail. Explain's it to where a lay person can understand. I would %100 recommend him to everyone. He was one of the team of Dr's that saved my life.
