Dr. Peter R Barnett

I had a frozen shoulder & had a total shoulder replacement by Dr Barnett. I couldn't be happier with the results. The surgery was relatively easy (for me) with very little pain & the scar is barely noticeable. I will be going back for a replacement on my other shoulder.

Dr. Barnett operated on me three times. Two rotator cuff surgeries and one bicep tendon repair. Excellent results!

After a nightmare experience with another Orthopedic surgeon, I found Dr. Barnett. What a difference between him and the other surgeon. Dr. Barnett showed patience and concern and his diagnosis of my problem was excellent. He gave me several options rather than rushing me into surgery. The follow up visits were the same caring visits. I am now recuperating from my injury in a non-painful manner and by this doctor who takes time to know you. Dr. Barnett replaced my shoulder a few years ago due to advanced arthritis. The surgery was successful and I have a full range of motion and no pain. Dr. Barnett and his team are professional and compassionate throughout the joint replacement process. I recently visited Dr. Barnett to discuss a knee replacement. I was pleased to find that his very efficient staff was still with him. Again, Dr. Barnett was attentive to my situation. I plan to schedule a knee replacement surgery with him in the near future. If you're a minority, you're better off not going to this clinic. Front office has the worst assistants followed by the doctor himself. Unwilling to help or assist with paperworks or answer any questions. Assistants tearing and throwing away the questionairre right in front of my face saying they do everything online. Worst doctor visit ever and would not recommend this place. Money and status isnt everything and i hope the assistants and doctors learn that someday!

I could not believe a shoulder replacement was this great. Dr Barnett and Cathy are a GREAT team. I give them 5 + stars. My right shoulder needs to be done soon with out question Dr. Barnett is the only Dr. I want to take care of me.

Bilateral shoulder replacements. I now have perfect range of motion and absolutely no pain. Excellent surgeon and very caring

Great doctor...wonderful staff!!

Dr. Barnett described my torn rotator cuff as one of the worst he has treated. Prior to surgery he advised me that he was not certain that the repair was possible, and that the effort may necessitate a large incision to attempt the repair. To my delight, Dr. Barnett successfully repaired the three macerated rotator cuff muscles arthroscopically. I followed Dr. Barnett's guidance for recovery and rehabilitation to the letter. Once permitted to resume regular exercise I began a daily fitness regiment. I am currently enjoying a fitness level that exceeds my condition prior to my injury. Amazing! Dr. Barnett performed two procedures on my shoulder, one of which was a total shoulder replacement. I had one prior procedure with another local Orthopedist. Every aspect of my experience with Dr. Barnett and his staff was superior. On my first visit he sat with me, for quit a while, and discussed my condition and options at length. He was professional, competent, and I could tell he was genuinely concerned for my well being. It made me comfortable and confident that he was the right doctor for the job. His entire staff, especially Cathy, was courteous and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Barnett for any orthopedic need. Visits with and treatment by Dr. Barnett and his staff were refreshing indeed. Service and surgery was prompt, professional and, most importantly, totally successful as predicted. I had a full replacement of my right shoulder. Three months later, I have regained 80% of my full range of motion without pain and expect to regain 100% very soon. I wish I had gone to Dr. Barnett sooner! Shoulder joint replacement and the following physical therapy can really change your life. I went from not being able to lift my arms higher than shoulder height and being in extreme pain before surgery to full 180 degree extension after and that's for both shoulders. Now one year later I can report I rarely even remember having had the surgery. I still do some of the exercises because I feel better for doing them. I have literally been pain free since they rolled me out of surgery. Dr. Barnett and his staff are talented and caring. I recommend using the physical therapy group associated with his office since they are familiar with his surgical style and they have a close working relationship. PT starts within 5 days of surgery. I refer everyone with shoulder issues without hesitation. Don't wait as I did...my surgeries were done 4 months apart. Less than one year after the first shoulder was done I was decorating for my daughter's home wedding on our family farm. Dr. Barnett gave me a whole lot of life back!
