Please don't waist your time coming here they are really irresponsible, they don't follow up or return your calls, it seems they don't know what they are doing, I DO NOT RECOMENT IT AT ALL worse medical office by all means.

My only complaint is that the office doesn’t answer the phone so rescheduling or getting a quick answer is a bit hard BUT besides that they are awesome. The doctor is quick with the sit downs but he does answer your questions. The staff is super sweet and versatile which I always appreciate. Both sleep studies where a bit scary but the nurse was always patient and took her time. I’ve read people are just given the machine for them to figure out but today I was sat down and shown how to use and made sure the mask fit and the airflow was perfect. This office is the worst run I’ve ever seen and the dr. Is the rudest dr. I’ve ever had.

You can NEVER reach this doctors office on the phone! If you can get through the maze of options on their voicemail, you may be called back. But the WORST is the daily automated calls that I received from this doctors office to remind me of an upcoming appointment. I call that harassment! So today for my appointment I am call a half an hour early, I refused to accept the call...so then I was called again. Had I not answered I am sure they would have continued to call me. When I was available for the preset time, there was no link, in their email. I tried calling back the number they had called me on, to no avail. I even tried linking trough their health portal, and there was no link available. I highly recommend you find a different doctor, that has better communication skills. This Dr's office is equipped with a front office staff but not one of them can be bothered to ever answer the phone. You are forced to leave a voicemail and they will return your call when they feel like it and it is not on the same day. My father is a patient and he has been called at times to reschedule because his appointment interferes with the Dr's schedule?!? My dad has been admitted to the hospital via emergency several times and Dr Rahim is the one Dr that my dad has to wait on to be seen because Dr Rahim can't be bothered until he see all the patients in his office first. Then he claims he wasn't informed on his medical issue until the next day. It seems this Dr and his office are only concerned with making money and not with the patients. I am a patient of the sleep study clinic for 1 year. I have found Dr. Rahim professional, thorough, and pleasant. I want to thank him and his team for their excellent care, professionalism, and customer service. Wendy, Office Manager, worked with me to coordinate my office bill payments during a period of time that was stressful due to COVID-19. Dr. Rahim took care of my mother (had Alzheimer's) and my step-father back in 2008 to 2012. Dr. Rahim is a compassionate and caring physician, he also took the time to listen to my questions and concerns. I never felt like we were rushed when we had an appointment, also didn't feel like a bother when I called with additional questions or concerns. My cardiologist found a tiny spot on my lung, by doing a ct scan. He immediately referred me to Dr. Rahim. The office was extremely busy, yet the wait was not long. He spent a good amount t of time with me & answered all of the questions I could think of. I felt at ease with him right away. I highly recommend him. I like Dr. Rahim. He is short & too the point. He asks if I have any concerns. If I don't, he gives me refills on my medication and I'm on my way. Sometimes I've got other things to do, and he takes just as much time as I need. He seems concerned about my health. He will get on you if you're not doing what you are supposed to be doing. My PCP does the same thing! I've only seen what someone called "cocky" once. But he did have a smile on his face. Sometimes people aren't in a very good mood. The more time you take with him, the longer it takes for others to be seen. He tries to get you in and out to get to the other patients, not for money. He will sit and listen if you have any concerns. I don't mind going to see him.

Dr. Rahim's lack of care, concern, or compassion for his patients put them in extreme life threatening danger. He is cocky & condescending. He cares much more about money than quality care. Please BEWARE!

I highly recommend you stay far away from this Pulmonologist. He is the worst in Polk County. It is public record he has been called in front of the local medical board because of issues with his Care of patients. His office is packed but just so he can take in as many appointments as possible to take your money and bill insurance. Every appointment I had with him lasted less than 2 minutes face to face. He is not an advocate for your concerns. Took me 5 months to get a bi-pap machine because he couldn’t send proper notes to insurance. Finally prescribed the wrong machine which I tried to use for 5 months with no effect. Am now seeing a new Dr. Out of Watson Clinic in Lakeland that has figured out what Rahim had couldn’t and has me on the sleep treatment. Stay away from this office! I arrived as a new patient presenting severe shortness of breath and severe Fatigue for a year and a half. The doctor proceeded to rush me asking questions and minimizing my symptoms. He did not even check my lungs besides using a stethoscope. He had all of the equipment for a pulmonary function test right in front of us and refused to do the test on me. He stated all patients need to schedule to come back for the testing mind you that was the reason I was there to begin with. When I began to cry because this condition has severely affected my quality of life, I asked him if he could please run any type of lung testing and he refused, not only that but he rolled his eyes, stormed out of the office like a toddler and refused to even listen to my concerns. The visit was about five minutes with him and he rushed off to the next patient, leaving me with my word in my mouth and concerns not even addressed. This doctor Rahim Perwaiz treated me horribly, I have never been treated so unprofessionally by a doctor. I went in with my hopes up of getting help, and I left feeling hopeless and discouraged of ever getting better. He seems to be in a rush to see patients not caring about the patients actual problems or taking the time to actually listen. I will be filing this very complaint with the medical board today. After reading previous reviews I was very nervous about my visit to Dr Rahim. I did not have the same experience as the other reviewers. He answered all my questions in an honest straightforward manner. I felt I could believe & trust what he was telling me. Maybe sometimes he will tell you something you don't want to hear but you can trust him when he says it. He was very business like but not in an unfriendly manner & that's what keeps you from sitting in the waiting room for long time.

VERY INDIFFERNT. APPEARS VERY COCKY AND NOT VERY CONCERNING. HE IS ONLY IN BUISNESS DUE TO BEING THE ONLY GAME IN TOWN . IM DONE WITH HIM. WILL TRAVEL 30 MILES OUT MY TO BRANDON TAMPA OR ORLANDO FOR BETTER SERVICE.
