About Dr. Perry R Lloyd III
Reviews for Dr. Perry R Lloyd III
DO NOT go to this place. First of all, people in the office are incompetent liars. I scheduled an appointment with this office under the the exact basis of the appointment being an annual physical. I’m a healthy 59 year old with no prior issues, but like to get a physical, once a year (with bloodwork), as my insurance company allows. I talked to the office MULTIPLE TIMES to verify that the appointment would be coded as a physical and even explained the reason why….to which they AGREED on EVERY account….including when I left the office, after the physical. The physical itself was a disaster. This doctor has completely lost it. He kept telling me I have all these issues using his outdated equipment and a nurse that must have been on her first day in the world of nursing. The place is simply a mess! Now they’re trying to submit the visit differently to the insurance company causing issues with Quest, who did the blood draw, because they were to incompetent to do it. Live and learn…don’t deal with someone that has reviews like this guy.
I am responsible and have excellent health care coverage.
His office staff is the worst went to him one time. Tried calling his office on a Friday no answering machine no phone service. Wanted Prescription changed from Walgreens to Humana brand new prescription just call it in 2 weeks ago never filled it . Office staff said no have to come see him again . He is no longer my husbands Dr . Office staff terrible terrible!!! Believe itâs his wife. Nice young girl there that the wife just torments !!!
Zero stars!!!! though this program requires you to enter at least one. The office manager/biller Deb is awful. Unfriendly, uncooperative, unprofessional.
I am a new patient of Dr Lloyd, I just went to him today for the first time, I really liked him and his staff, he was the most thorough doctor I have ever been to. He checked everything and asked all the right questions, this is how all doctors should be, he was funny and made me feel at ease, he took a lot of time with me and made sure he covered all my concerns. I would highly recommend him and his staff. Thank you Dr Lloyd???? Well my experience was great he talked to me not at me he explained everything to me it was a pleasant appointment most de don't care I've gotten treated bad but there I well I stopped being nervous so for every bad experience there is a good one.
One of the worse doctors. He had no Idea what's going on with my mother. He called her health problems "life". And his staff are the rudest people, Debbie called me and asked to pay them for staring at my mother in the hospital and on top of that she said to think about paying when one needs a doctor. Well shouldn't it go both ways? One pays when they were helped not stared at but of course they don't understand until they are in the same situation, think twice before being rude to people because what comes around goes around. *I did call back because hanging up on someone is not professional. And your staff was rude enough to put me on hold and not answer my call. If you want to speak to me, it's clear you have my #. I'll be human and have respect to answer the call. My pulmonary doctor made the referral about 21/2 months in advance. I had just received a new insurance plan and had not received the insurance cards ( it was in the mail when I returned home). Even though I had gotten the card information from the health insurance specialists, called the insurance company during the schedule appointment, and then waited for the secretary to finish speaking with the insurance agent to confirm my identity and effective policy. Still refused to see me. So the nurse hears my daughter becoming upset. Then she suggest she speaks to the doctor. Still refused to see me and recommended we go to the ER. My daughter even offered to pay out of pocket. However, my experience at Lawnwood was so pleasant ????. My pulmonary doctor made the referral about 21/2 months in advance. I'm a patient of Dr Lloyd's. Although I have not had an appointment in many months, I still feel that I would be welcomed as if I'd seen him yesterday. He and the staff are so down to earth. Dr Lloyd is especially great at taking TIME to do a work up on your overall health. Best part of being involved with his practice... He's freaking cool as S*#T! I'm a patient of Dr Lloyd's. I referred a client to Dr. Lloyd. Because the client has a serious mental illness and forgot to bring her insurance ID, she was refused service. I had the Case Manager call to reschedule, with the promise of all required documents, she was told, " No. The doctor doesn't want to see her anyway." As the referring clinician, I called Dr. Lloyd's office the next day to help facilitate my client's care. I had the displeasure of speaking with the office manager, Deb who angrily refused treatment.

I was a patient in this practice for a couple of years. Dr. Lloyd himself is very knowledgeable and thorough, he takes his time and I think genuinely enjoys what he does. I would still be there were it not for his billing staff and Dr. Lloyd's refusal to even discuss the matter. My insurance company contacted this biller, they sent letters to Dr. Lloyd informing him his balance billing was not allowed according to his contract, they tried reaching Dr. Lloyd directly by phone yet were unable to get past this biller. It was not a lot of money and had it been isolated it would not have become an issue. Having worked in a medical practice for many, many years I am very familiar with billing and insurance explanations of benefits. Dr. Lloyd was my primary physician yet she insisted on billing as a specialist (hello his name was on my card as Primary) this of course changed my copay from $5 to $40 and it was not just one time! I took my EOB's in she refused to even look at them and because Dr. Lloyd would not intervene I had no place to go except back to my insurance which this office totally ignored every point of contact from them. the nurse was very nice and pleasant as was his receptionist but they were not allowed to get involved (perhaps the biller was his wife or girlfriend) obviously she controls everything that goes on in that office. This B turned me over to a collection agency and I have taken the hit on my credit report because they have refused to remove this fraudulent billing from my credit report. Be very careful and pay attention to what this office bills for and wants you to pay for it very well may not be your responsibility. Time for me to move on and have not had a copay problem since Dr. Lloyd's office. I was a patient in this practice for a couple of years. Dr.Lloyd is arrogant, rude and very unprofessional. As a retired RN with over 40 years experience , I have had encounters with many physicians, and in all those experiences I never once saw such rude, unprofessional behavior from a physician. The man should not be practicing! The only reason I returned to him was because I had no choice since he was the only provider to do sleep studies with my health insurance. Although I was told my study showed "serious sleep apnea", I had no scrip.

Beware of this doctor. He reads the results of scans without even looking at or explaining the actual scans. This doctor will order useless tests in an effort to milk your bank account and the insurance companies. Although I felt fine, I was referred to him because of an abnormal chest x-ray. Now I am in constant pain because of his procedures. I also have a difficult time breathing since my lung was collapsed during one of his senseless tests. Value your health and avoid this quack.

Dr. Perry Lloyd, III is a terrible doctor based on the care that he provided to my elderly mother! His staff actually provided medical care to my mother in the lobby where other patients were seating and watching. When I complained about my mother's lack of privacy and dignity, my mother was then moved to a hallway to receive the balance of her care during a breathing test. DEPLORABLE! Dr. Lloyd is arrogant; can't pay attention, rude and exhibited no care for my mother beyond criticism!
