Dr. Perry M. Iacovetti

As a high school student I saved up my own money to get braces here. I had braces put on by Dr. Iacovetti and he looked over my treatment for 2 years. My biggest concern was spaces reopening and what happened immediately after removing the braces ? The spaces reopened. I paid extra for permanent retainers and the space was STILL reopening. So he offered removable retainers “just in case”. Spaces were still forming and then he eventually admitted the permanent retainers broke because of what he explained as my teeth “tipping” and that I needed to get my frenulum surgically removed. Okay got it surgically removed and the space is still opening. He suggested some stronger retainer that I should pay $800 for. Yeah right. In total I spent about $5000 on his horrid orthodontic treatment. I ended up getting veneers for the same price. He doesn’t admit to his faults and wants me to continue to pay for him to fix his mistakes. Very disappointed... These reviews cannot be accurate . My kid underwent orthodontic treatment with Dr. Iacovetti for the last 2.5 years and we have had a great experience. From the front staff to the techs in office, people are friendly, things are well organized and the treatment went according to plan. We have had great results and cant thank Dr. Iacovett enough. Being a patient in this office was a privilege the doctor and his staff are great people and professionals I’m really happy that I got my braces there also the doctor worked with my dentist to be able to get my smile back. Great service

I can only speak from my personal experience, but Dr.Perry and his staff are one of a kind. The hospitality and care they serve their patients with is second to none, and the end results are better than one could ever imagine! Would recomend to anyone in need of braces!

One of the best orthodontists I’ve ever been to. The entire staff makes you feel extremely comfortable right away and they treat you better than just another patient. They treat you like a friend.

Friendly, professional, honest & open, great personality, explains what's needed and what he is doing. He did both of my childrens' ortho work and made them feel comfortable throughout the process during the years they have seen him. Very good results. Also, his assistants and office staff are also great and the office is well run. Appointments or emergencies were never a problem. Convenient street parking at Little Neck office. Dr. Iacovetti is an honest and thoughtful orthodontist that gives all his patients his undivided attention. My 3 children have patients of his and their teeth look absolutely perfect. His experience and attention to detail are unmatched.

When I first came to Mr. Iacovetti's office, I had an overbite and I was really scared to get braces on my teeth. Mr. Iacovetti helped me overcome this fear by making it seem very harmless (which it was) and explaining to me how to breeze through this process. Whenever I come to his office, all appointments/check-ups are quick and efficient, and with the help of the other staff, my experience here was simply incredible. If you follow his instructions, you will not face any problems with the braces/retainers. I would recommend him to anyone!!! I have been going to Dr. Iacovetti for the past two and a half years, and recently got my braces removed. Let me just say that I absolutely love my teeth and smile now, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the wonderful work of Dr. Iacovetti. He is extremely efficient and takes his time to explain your situation, no rush. He is thorough and honest and his staff mirrors his work ethics. Dr.Lacovetti is both a great man and an excellent doctor. I have been going to him for about 4 years now and both of my siblings are now getting orthopedic care through him. Dr.Lacovetti truly does make your experience feel both personal and secure, he truthfully dispels any fears that you would have and always has an answer for the questions you ask. My daughter had a palate expander put on and taken off within 6 months. I was told to come back in a few months to check to see if her baby teeth fell out. After going to the dentist, I was told that her palate was starting to constrict again. I asked Dr. Iacovetti about this and he said that her palate was constricting again but that I shouldn't worry b/c she would be ready for braces soon. Took her for a second opinion...she needs an expander put back on and other work. Steer clear!

Dentist here is very professional and cooperative. Dr. Iacovetti has been my Orthadaunist for over 3 years now and I have never had any issue with him what so ever. He is willing to answer any question the patient may have and disspels any prior fears the patient my have. The staff is also very lovely and cooperative and will often be very quick to reschedule with little to no problems at all. Overall definitely recommend this Orthadaunist, dr. I would definitely NOT recommend dr iacovetti! He did a terrible job on my child's teeth ..he did not pick up on her jaw protruding issue and because of that she must go through the difficulty of possible extensive surgery and or braces at the age of 21 due to the fact that he either ignored or had zero knowledge as to what the real problem was with my child's teeth...taking a big chance using him ..I would look elsewhere!! Waste of money and time and now have to start all over again!
