Dr. Greene is an empathetic, available, accessible and inordinately skilled surgeon. During office appointments, he takes the time to explain things and answers questions patiently. Even before going into my total right knee replacement, we had heard quite a few nice things about him. As a matter of fact, people seemed to consider him the ultimate for joint replacement. My husband and I had despaired about even an appointment, let alone a close surgery date. During the consultation, upon learning about the terrible state of my knee and the intense pain, Dr.Greene offered to move me up if a cancelation opened a spot. HE UNDERSTANDS, CARES, AND HELPS!! ???????? Dr. Greene replaced my right knee on May 11th, and it has wrought magical transformation in our lives. The stiffness, swelling and pain, all, are in the past now. He will be replacing my left knee sometime in August, and we feel safe in the knowledge that we are, perhaps, in the care of the best around ???????? Amazing surgeon - have had both knees replaced by Dr. Greene and am VERY happy.

I had a scheduled hip replacement surgery with Dr. Greene for May 23rd. On Friday, May 14th Dr. Greene left me a voicemail to inform me that he was FIRING ME AS A PATIENT BECAUSE I AM NOT A NICE PERSON. My reaction? SHOCK TEARS SERIOUS SADNESS and the question was and still is WHY? Why would an orthopedic surgeon with the the reputation that Dr. Greene has believe that it is OK to traumatize a patient by canceling the procedure that would relieve the pain. And the words that he chose to use I would never believe that this could be possible. So now I have to start all over to find a surgeon spend double what it would have been just because Dr. Greene decided to discard me. I came with physical pain and I wind up with not only physical pain but mental pain as well. I would never have believed that this could have been a possibility. One thing I know for certain I did not believe this trauma could have been a possibility EVER.

I am feeling really well at my 3 week post-op office visit. Dr. Greene said I'm progressing great. That I've had minimal pain since surgery and am progressing so well, I am owing this to Dr. Greene's skills at total knee replacement.

Dr. Greene is a wonderful surgeon. He is knowledgeable, professional, caring, and always finds a solution to your problem. He is one in a million.

So far, so good! Surgery was 5 weeks ago today and my recovery and knee function have been beyond my expectations. Thank you Dr. Greene.

As a 42-year-old woman having total hip replacement surgery, I was a little leery about the procedure. Dr Perry was the third orthopedic physician I saw about my issues. Dr. Perry recognized my anxiety, took time to answer my questions and concerns, provided non-pressures information regarding surgery. Surgery was performed in the morning I was home by the evening. I was able to slowly climb stairs the next morning using hand railings. Multimodal analgesia management allow for me to use less opioids. I was back running after six months. Now 3 yea later, I am playing outside with kids, utilizing leg press machine at the gym and can sit Indian-style on the ground with difficulty. Of course, I am carful and don’t want to overwork my hip.

Dr Green is a gentleman and ultimate professional.. Hie is at his surgical pinnacle using the newest techniques available. His respect for Tissue handling reduces post op pain. I waited a long time to see Dr Greene to have him operate on my knee. After five weeks post-op, it’s just about perfect. I don’t have to wait for pain meds. He’ll be revising my other knee in a few months. I’m very happy with him.

This was my first visit . It was a good and comfortable visit Everyone knew their job and moved the process along with no problems Dr. Greene is very knowledgeable about my pain and discomfort and explained the treatment plan (surgery) for my hip. Dr. Greene is the epitome of what I want in a physician. He is a superb surgeon and has the bedside manner that is second to none. He never makes you feel like he is rushing through your appointment. He takes the time to answer all your questions and he has a strong support staff.

Dr.Greene for me has been a great life experience we all really don’t want but when your body (bones and joints) don’t work he has done wonders for me a hip and knee as of today my hip is great after 22 plus years and knee 11 plus years a very good surgical master. Dr Greene is the best hands down. From the appointments where he is a great listener and comforter to the surgery room where he is an “artist” Nothing but the best. Kudos to Merideth who was patient with me and explained everything extremely well. She too was comforting and easy to talk to. My second experience with Merideth and both were exceptional. Greatest doctor I have had the pleasure of being referred to. He has operated on me on three occasions. Both knees replaced and right hip replaced with great success. I was in so much pain, and I meet Dr Green, I could not even stand on my leg, 3 weeks after the surgery I could bend it walk on it I’m truly so thankful for Dr Greene ??????

Had my knee surgery by Dr. Greene after a long wait for my appointment. It was worth the wait and everything went just as he said it would. In addition to a perfect result, the incision is much smaller that I have seen friends have that used other surgeons. Couldn't be happier.

Dr. PERRY W. GREENE all I can say THE BEST My hips are very complicated with a lot of screws from 1984. In 2017 I hav one appointment with him and one month later he did my hip replacement. Had a knee replacement a year ago, dr Greene was fantastic! Not only is he a great surgeon but a kind and caring man, I will need a hip replacement soon and am actually looking forward to seeing dr Greene again!

Dr. Green is an exemplary orthopedic surgeon. My surgery consisted of a total knee replacement and eventually a hip replacement. He did an outstanding job. I would recommend him to anyone.

Called to get an appointment and was told I cant get in until June. Extremely unfriendly. Must be a good doctor because the staff is not bringing in any business. Rude and not helpful. unfortunate

I would highly recommend Dr Perry Greene for hip or knee replacement surgery. He has a great bedside manner and is an excellent Orthopedic surgeon. He replaced my knee 5 years ago and replaced both hips in the past 3 months. My back pain is gone and I can finally walk and sleep without pain. The only drawback is the wait time for an appointment but he is well worth the wait. Dr Perry Greene is the best. I Highly recommend him.

Dr. Green replaced both hips in the 90's one had problems he worked hard to correct complications an did so. 19 years later I got electrocuted witch hurt my left hip... After couple years of getting told nothing was wrong with my hip... I made It back to Dr. Green... He had to do extensive work to get me back on the road! Dr Perry Greene did a total knee replacement on Both my knees, one 2 years ago and the second one was 4 weeks ago. My knees are now as good as the ones that the Lord gave me at birth 77 years ago. DR Greene is a great surgeon, a kind and professional physician. Thank-you Dr Greene for restoring my mobility.

My 2nd hip replacement with Dr. Greene. The first one was 11 years ago. I'm currently 55 y.o. I was able to play 18 and over hockey for the last 10 years, year round, without any issues. Most recent hip replacement on other hip was on 10/23/17. I was out of the hospital the next day. I used a walker for three days, a cane for three days and haven't used anything since. I began PT two weeks after the surgery and have felt better each day. I stopped taking pain meds after 1 1/2 weeks.

I recently ( 8 weeks ago) had a hip replacement done by dr Greene. The surgery left my operative leg too short. I still can’t walk without a cane and will not be able to walk properly again without some sort of lift in shoe. I purchased a half inch lift and it helps a lot, though leg is still a little short with the lift. Can’t use more than that in a shoe or won’t fit properly. He is supposed to be a good dr, but he failed with me. I have nothing but regrets with this surgery.

This is one great Doc, he had done my hip in 98 and is still great. And one knee in 08 and no pain. I'm going to get my other one done (knee) if he thinks it's needed it's bad right now. THX DR GREENE III / ANTARCTICA

After surgery, you're done, one can not get an appointment if you're having problems. You're on your own, and the unfortunate thing about it no other ortho doctor will touch another doctors surgery. The women that work in this office are the nastiest I've ever encounted

This doctor performed a hip replacement that failed; immediately after the surgery he told my husband "record time" and 2 days later left for vacation. Clearly he rushed, the surgery failed and I required a second THR; the 2 surgeries left me with extensive soft tissue damage and permanent disability. Dr Greene tried to cover his mistake by overprescribing narcotics for my chronic pain; luckily CPR and narcan were provided quickly enough that I survived. needless to say, I no longer see this doc

Dr Perry Greene is a hard working and most caring individual. He has worked on both hips and knees of mine. I consider myself very very fortunate that he was my doctor. Very experienced very wise. Dr. Greene replaced my right knee 14 months ago. I waited this long in order to provide a "high mileage" review. After 1 week of quite agonizing pain, my recovery was swift, and three months later I walked all over Disney-world for three days with my grand-kids without difficulty. This summer, I put over 2000 miles on my two bikes without *any* knee pain. Without the scar, no one would ever know that I had knee surgery. Dr. Greene was personable and concise. I couldn't be happier.

Left knee, 11 years ago; right hip 9 years ago. Absolutely no problem. He's absolutely the best!!

Dr. Greene is my hero. Not only to me but my entire family!! He replaced both my hips and knees. He has a reputation as an excellent surgeon. He does difficult and challenging surgeries that other surgeons shy away from. He has a reputation with his peers as a percision surgeon. He is a man of compassion, and integrity.
