Dr. Payam Hariri

I have unfortunate genetics which results in most cavities turning to root canals. I just had my 7th root canal, 6th with Dr Hariri over the last 5-6 years. He is amazing. The kindest person you could ever meet. The staff is just as caring and make you feel like one of the family while there. They do follow up the next day to make sure you are feeling okay too. Just above and beyond. While no one ever wants to go get a root canal, Dr. Hariri and his staff make you smile and obviously love their job.

You found the correct practice if you are looking for the best endodontist experience in the Bel Air area. First, I must say that my anxiety goes into full throttle when I even think about dental work, and yet I am smiling as I write this review on Dr. Hariri and his team. I felt welcomed from the minute I sat in the dental chair, even though I am sure they could sense my anxiety. A few days after my consultation, Dr. Hariri performed a root canal and an apicoectomy on two neighboring teeth. His office provided the scripts for all meds before I had the surgery. They also made sure to review the meds and surgery details on the day of the surgery. I had minimal pain because of Dr. Hariri's ability to perform the surgery with such care and accuracy. Honestly, I just had a swollen cheek and some minor pressure. I recommend Dr. Hariri and his team because of the tremendous surgical precision, great patience, outstanding skill, respect, and courtesy. Dr H and his team are amazing. I was greeted by Debbie. Andrew took my painless XRays . They have advanced technology - easy and painless . Debbie came in and got me comfortable. She gave me headphones so that I couldn’t hear the drill while getting my procedure done. Dr H came in and introduced himself. I declined a cold text (from previous bad experience) . He did do the cold test , but it wasn’t a bad experience. I love his energy & he explained everything in detail. Joe, I’m assuming the business manager came out & explained to me my fees. Dental issues are never fun and I would not really wish them on anyone, but if you have to deal with them, go see Dr. Hariri. He and his staff are absolutely incredible. They are so kind, friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They made me feel so at ease and answered every question I had before I even asked it. They gave me headphones during my procedure which helped tremendously, and I followed their recovery plan to a T and felt better within days. I truly would recommend them to anyone! Professional and obviously very competent. Also, very kind and concerned for my comfort. I have a fear of dentists from bad experiences and difficulty with numbing. He had me wear headphones during my root canal to distract me from procedure. That and his skill with a needle (for numbing) worked like a charm! His sense of humor is also a treat. Highly recommend - No problems since!

Dr. Hariri did the “cold test” on my teeth. Upper teeth were sensitive but didn’t cause the same pain sensation I had been experiencing. He told me it had to be these two teeth, he’s been doing this a long time and he knew it was these teeth. Well after paying just under $1600 out of pocket for the TWO root canals, I still had the same pain!!!! I went back and all he had to offer was doing a root canal on the next tooth and seeing if that helped!!! Really???!!! Are you kidding me??!!! Just keep doing root canals until you find it??!! I don’t think so!!! I went to another endodontist and as it turns out, the pain is referred pain coming from a lower tooth. I wish so much that I had not let him talk me into the two root canals. Fantastic, professional, 3D advanced imaging and quick diagnosis. Excellent care and painless root canal (with headphones & music so I didn't need to hear the drill!) Dr Hariri, Joe and the rest of the staff are first rate.

I was getting a jolt of intermittent nerve pain. Dr. Hariri did a cold test and even tho it didn’t produce the same symptoms he convinced me the pain was coming from 2 upper teeth. After having the 2 root canals and spending just under $1600 out of pocket, I still had the pain! His only solution was to do a root canal on the next tooth to see if that helped!!! I don’t think so!!! I went for a second opinion and found I am having referred pain from a lower tooth!!! Wish I had not gone to him!

A great doctor and a great person. My daughter was in pain and needed a root canal. The doctor stayed later to do it!!! The service is the BEST. The procedure was done with care and she was ok as soon as it was over. He explained everything before, during and after. I would recommend Dr. Hariri to everyone. The very BEST!!!!!

I have been one of Dr. Hariri's patients for many years and he has performed several procedures that I could not be happier with. He always makes me feel at ease, he is quick and I never feel any form of pain during the procedures. I couldn't be happier with Dr. Hariri or his staff, he was originally a referral to me from a friend and I have went on to refer others to his practice.

I have been coming to him for years and he does the best job, as well as making your experience the most comforting and his staff is extremely pleasant . From the moment I called to make an appt for my root canal, I felt at ease. Joe is so nice and helpful. The staff is very friendly, and Dr. Hariri explained everything to me prior to the procedure, and was so nice. I had a great experience there

Dr. Hariri is amazing! He is very confident in what he does. The practice is clean and most important Dr. Hariri and his staff is very polite and makes you fell so comfortable. I would recommend him to anyone.

Appointment was easily, and pleasantly made. Upon arrival, staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. The office is modern and spotlessly clean. Even employees who weren't interacting with me were friendly and offering hellos. The Dr. was great. He took his time, explained the situation, and let me make an informed decision. The dental work itself was exceptionally done, again with no rushing. I would certainly use Dr. Hariri in the future, without hesitation.

I just got my first root canal ever today. Dr. Hariri and his entire staff were amazing to deal with. Everyone from the front desk manager to the assistant to Dr. Hariri himself were professional, friendly, and had a wonderful bedside manner. I will never go anywhere else for dental work - these guys are the best!
