Dr. Paulus L. Santoso

STAY AWAY unless you want to be seriously TRAUMATIZED. No woman should ever have to be demeaned degraded and dehumanized while simultaneously having a cowardly and chauvinistic doctor beat around the bush to tell a mother they are loosing their baby while also trying to give them false hope. My first appointment here was great the nurse practitioner is a saint she is really a wonderful and compassionate woman. My second appointment was with Dr. Santoso and it could not have been more different. The questions I was being asked by him before any examination was done were leading me to believe something was wrong. He set me up for my second ultrasound and I could tell by looking at it the baby hadn’t grown. I asked him to be real with me and he said he wanted transvaginal ultrasound he had me undress but had no idea that the ultrasound in that room wasn’t equipped to do that so I had to get dressed again and change rooms, I found it weird because there was a random woman in the room which kind of made me wonder if he had expected to have an issue, after the ultra sound I was told the baby was only measuring 6 weeks and of course being that I was supposed to be 9 weeks along that brought rise to many questions for me but He told me to stop asking him question and he became so disrespectful and unkind that my husband had to step in and ask him to have some compassion and respect because he could see I was scared we were loosing our child. He refused to even acknowledge any of my concerns or address questions about me potentially loosing my baby. Then proceeded to ask if he could talk to my husband outside the room alone about me which is a serious violation of my rights and truly shows the the level of disrespect this doctors has for women in general. I have never felt more demeaned and dehumanized. I told him he was being rude and my husband agreed he said his staff didn’t think so, and I made sure to point out that they work for him and aren’t gonna say anything that might cost them their jobs. My husband refused to speak to him alone and I asked for the female doctor since it was clear he was not capable of understanding what I was going through and he started telling me I was prejudiced and rude for asking questions about what was going on with my pregnancy. I have never been so appalled by a doctors behavior and I am a nurse. The fact I even have to be made to feel like I have to explain why I want a female doctor is disgusting. I demanded the nurse practitioner I saw the first time come in and talk to me and after some reluctance on his part she came is hugged me said she is sorry he made the experience so traumatic come to find out he hadn’t even looked at any of my blood work but NP Duarte went over everything with meconfirmed what I had suspected and what Dr. Santos’s was too much of a coward to tell me, which is that I my baby likely stopped growing they couldn’t find a heart beat and I am likely going to miscarry she ordered blood work and told me the doctor was transferring me out for care because he was too arrogant to admit any mishandling of the situation, she apologized said she was gonna try and help anyways and talked to the office manager because she too seemed shocked at how all this got dealt with. This man should not be delivering babies. I wouldn’t wish my worst enemy go to this clinic.

Even if your primary care doctor refers you here, try another place because Dr. Santos does not listen to what you have to say. Sorry, but the office is just as chaotic and obstinate as the medical practitioners. More harm than good will happen if you go here.

Don't ever come here. If it's your first time being a mommy or not. This place is the worst. I was referred by my primary doctor. I went in for a check-up to see if my baby was in position and discuss my labor delivery. The doctor came in and right away I felt him negative, a bad vibe. We started to discuss about my labor delivery and I had said I want a VBAC he looked at me and said no, he wanted to preformed a scheduled c-section. I kept insisting on the VBAC he kept getting frustrated and started to tell me about his experience doing VBACs. I had gotten scared because he had mentioned he had lost 2 patients. I was unsure about the c-section because I was only 36 weeks pregnant. My baby wasn't in position yet, he said that my baby wouldn't get into position on time, and that was another reason he was doing c-section. I was so upset and mad with this doctor. He did not respect my decisions as I am the patient and it is my baby. I went to a hospital to get 2nd opinions and guess what they where so surprised he wanted to perform a c-section at 36weeks & since my pregnancy wasn't at risk there was no need for a c-section. Baby did get into position and I had a healthy, strong , VBAC baby at 40 weeks. Never let a doctor make you feel uncomfortable with the decisions you are making for yourself and your baby! Bad place doctor need to be more professional /ethics...

Obviously all of us on this platform here have different experiences with different perspectives. This is my wife’s. When pregnant, she was very hesitant about coming to this office. The reviews, the quality of the place, and even the staff sometimes made her worry if this was the right office. But, after meeting Dr. Vong and coming on this pregnancy journey with her as her doctor, she was happy she stayed. My wife was diagnosed with thyroid cancer while 9 months pregnant. Prior to this diagnoses her primary doctor refused to see her, leaving Dr. Vong to order all her referrals and labs to get to the bottom of her problem. She took care of it all when it should have been my wife’s primary doctors problem. The initiative Dr. Vong took is the reason we were able to catch her diagnoses. Everything went smooth with her as the OB. Delivered with a scheduled c section by Dr. Vong and overall my wife had a good experience. And yes, the office can use a little bit of cleaning. Keep telling me I was going to bleed out during my C-section! He yelled and screamed at me at my last office visit and I left sobbing. NEVER stepped foot in that awful office again. Also made me very uncomfortable during exams. Listen to your gut ladies.

If I could I would rate this Dr. Jennifer at zero I have no idea why she’s a doctor the lack of care !! I got referred to see Dr. Jennifer Vong. At their other location at 817 W. grand corona Ca. Please do not come here!! This had to be one of the worst and disgusting Obgyn I have ever been too. What was even worse and really sad was the doctor, medical assistants and receptionist do not care at all. The lack of communication between patients and doctors and the receptionists is horrible. If a patient calls for an emergency appointment, and you schedule me two weeks out. And I beg you to let me know if there’s any cancellations which you promise you would do. But you never do confirmation calls the day before ppl have appointments so...how would you know if there is any cancellations. And I know this for a fact because on my appointment I never got a confirmation call. I have no idea how this “doctors office” is still open you guys really need to be shut down. Your exam room is disgusting there was toilet paper with blood on the floor in your carpet, again this is a doctors office why do you guys have carpet. So disgusting and right above the bed where you lay where you get an exam the light ceiling has a bunch of bugs in it you can see it when you look up. If I could also rate Dr. Jennifer Vong a zero I would! The experience I had at this office was overall a horrible experience. Dr. Jennifer Vong was the OB/GYN doctor I had my appointment scheduled with and she seemed careless and I just wouldn’t schedule any future appointments with them. Also the assistants don’t seem professional, I’d recommend to find another specialist and stay away from this one. However, I did find a new provider in my area and I’m so happy with making that switch. If I could also rate Dr. Jennifer Vong a zero I would! UNPROFESSIONAL staff, waiting times are crazy long until they have a room available, doctors there seem not to go thorough/care about one’s journey throughout pregnancy. Place is hot. Would NOT recommend at ALL. Better off going to another OBGYN who cares about your well being and the baby. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE.

I went to see this doctor as I was referred by my primary doctor to see a specialist and discuss my ovarian cyst as it was causing symptoms. Instead of listening to anything I had to say or doing an ultrasound to look at my ovaries today, he simply looked at what radiologists had said in the previous ultrasounds. He seemed to not want me as a patient for a cyst. Also, he told me that bbt charting should not be used to track or determine ovulation. This is something that is well known for determining if a person is ovulating. All of my charts for the past couple of months do not show I am ovulating as my temperature fluctuations are high. As a gynecologist I would assume that he would look more into what’s going on, but he did not. I feel as though my primary doctor wouldn’t have referred me if she didn’t think something was wrong. Another thing that happened during my visit was that the MA handed me paperwork to fill out while I was waiting in the patient room. This paper was a form that stated that I was given this form because I’m either pregnant or just gave birth so they wanted to determine if I had or will have postpartum depression. I am not pregnant and I have not given birth. Unless the test they did came out positive in the office, I was not told anything. The absolute WORST doctors office. I was already hesitant by the reviews. I was diagnosed as being HIGH RISK in my pregnancy and they were suppose to be my new SPECIALIST! This office is so unprofessional! They never called me for an appointment, they never answered the phones, NOTHING is urgent to them, I waited over a week. Save your time and energy... So I filed a complaint and guess what??? THEY CALLED ME!! They told me to find another provider and I wouldn't be a good fit for their office. JUST PATHETIC!!!! Stay away!!! i miss Dr Santoso, BEST DOCTOR EVER been a patient since 2013, treated all my medical conditions, explained detail by detail on every procedure that i had done with him. careless, heartless, doesnt provide much information. When I asked questions further it felt like he didnt have his own hw or facts straight to help solve or answer any of my concerns clearly.

Dr Santiago saved my life and my daughters. I had a placenta eruption back during my being induced back in 2015 and was rushed to emergency c-section. He got my daughter out in time and we are both happy and healthy. For that I am forever greatful

Dr. Santoso was late for my appointment and very rude. He rushed through my visit. I got the feeling that if you’re not pregnant or wanting a hysterectomy he doesn’t want to talk to you. His office was old and dirty so I would never let him touch me. I found a cleaner and more modern Doctor thank goodness!!!!

Doctor took a long time to see me. I was in the office for about 2 hours total. Got a urine test to check for pregnancy. Had a Pap smear and breast exam. Doctor completely ignored everything I am going through including my cyst and symptoms that I’ve been having for months now like back pain, breast pain, etc. I hate that I wasted my time going to an appointment that was worthless when I was not feeling well at all. I woke up feeling like I was going to faint. Doctor said that my symptoms of my hormone levels dropping from birth control. I have been off of birth control for 10 months. That doesn’t make sense and I kept telling him it didn’t make sense. The MA also gave me a survey document on postpartum depression stating “you are either pregnant or have given birth..”. I don’t fall under either of those categories and even if I did they never told me anything about my urine results! This doctor doesn’t seem like a specialist.

My wife had 2 baby’s and dr.santoso delivered them both. He showed up for both of them. Her other baby was with a different doctor and they never showed up. Highly recommend this Dr.

Came here with both my pregnancys, Rosa at the front desk is the best and always very nice. Melissa and the girls that take ur vitals also very kind. I do have to say I miss the 2nd melissa (there old nurse) the one you talk to before ur actual appointment evertytime i go the new nurse is not there and when she is she is really short gets u in and out seems like she doesn't care. He is an amazing Dr. He delivered all 3 of my kids. Every visit I had with Dr Santoso he would always take his time with me and any questions I had I never felt rushed.

You know a place is TERRIBLE when the doctor is not even willing to try.... and when the receptionist hangs up on you and your not even being rude. I wouldn't wast my time calling this place.

Santoso delivered my first born 3 years ago and I will NEVER go to anyone else. The staff is great! and he is very professional. They are also extremely flexible with their schedule. I had also been seeing my primary for the past year trying to cure an infection, I then went to him for help and within 2 days I was cured. I couldn't ask for a better doctor. I was referred here for an iud inseration and having been reschedule not once, twice but three times. Ive finally decided to go through another dr. Their very unorganized and the wait time is ridiculous. I was rescheduled the first time due to Dr on Vaca, ok no biggie. Than i was called to reschedule again the day of my apt because the dr had left. The third time i arrived at my apt and waited 2 hours for them to just tell me id have to be rescheduled again.
