Well, she examined my dad...called...i missed the call by ONE RING and she did NOT HAVE THE COURTESY TO RETURN ANY OF MY 3 CALLS over 2days. I begged a nurse to give some "inkling" as to what was discussed among the group and she said HOSPICE!! The NEXT DAY, MY DAD WAS DISCHARGED BACK TO INDEPENDENT LIVING AFTER ALERTING MY FAMILY FOR THE WORST. What a disgrace...i hope she uses her Medicare money well.... Made appt thru MultiHealth Care. for inh-ome visit for my elderly mother. Dr did exam. checked vitals et. Did stomach and back palpitations. She informed me that my Mom hjad colon cancer and 8-12 mths life expectancy. No suggestion of further tests to be done or anything. Recommended Hospice. Got a phone the next day seeking to enroll my Mother. I did have a customer rep visit me but decided against it. My Mother does not have stomach cancer based on 2nd opinion and testing. 8
