My issue began months ago waiting for the surgery had me concerned, but the experience in Dr Sturrock's Practice and at UMass Memorial campus could not have been better, the safety and concern of the staff during my visit was impeccable, and the day of surgery, the process being in pre-op and post op was beyond reproach. I could not more highly recommend this practice.

Emergency surgery with excellent care.

This visit is post surgery with Dorcas Taylor, NP. The surgery went very well, had no pain and to date all is fine.

Did not give full informed consent. Did not return phone calls. Did not feel confident and had enough questions answered.

I’m 5 days out of rectal cancer. Surgery, from the very first visit Dr Sturrock made me feel comfortable & very well cared for. Today as I sit here post surgery there in NO ONE I would have had perform this surgery other than Dr. Sturrock. He is truly amazing, he makes sure your care is without issue. I am blessed to have him in my fight aging cancer

I recently had bowel surgery performed By Dr. Sturrock. Doctor Sturrock did a wonderful job of explaining what the surgery would entail. He was extremely professional along this whole adventure. I was really impressed when he came by my room after the surgery with his concerns for my welfare. And he came every morning to see me during my entire stay at the hospital.

I recently had a bowel resection surgery. Dr. Sturrock and his team were great to work with. He patiently listened to any concerns or questions and I never felt pressured one way or the other.

Surgery went well, team was great and very helpful and recovery time was better and faster then I had expected.

He was my second opinion for a procedure and impressed me with his knowledge and attitude that I felt so comfortable with him, I canceled my other surgeon

I had an awesome experience with Dr. Sturrock. Surgery went amazingly well. He was right on point with my diagnosis and my recovery. I would totally highly recommend him.

Dr. Sturrock is very confident & answered all my questions thoroughly. He made me feel at ease with my surgical plan. He also has great bedside manner, and is very caring post-op. I felt very comfortable in his care, and would highly recommend.

Had a procedure done by Dr. Sturrock at the end of July. Was really hoping he would of corrected the issue. Part of the problem was corrected but not all of it was. I saw the nurse practitioner on my follow-up and told her of my concerns. Was informed by her that everything would take care of itself in a few more weeks. Nothings changed!! So aggravating, would NOT recommend this doctor. He couldn't even be bothered with the follow-up.

Dr. Sturrock is very pleasant and attentive. Highly recommended.

Went for a pilonidal cyst excision. Dr Sturrock was awesome through the entire process. Very glad he helped me through this. Highly recommend!

Staff seemed angry including receptionist and the nurse. Be prepared to pay for parking. Dr. and Resident in my opinion were judgmental and appeared my issue was no big deal.

Dr. Sturrock and his direct assistant are extreamly knowlageable and friendly. I had seen Dr. Sturrock 4+ years ago for the same issue. Upon my most recent visit we decided surgery was the best option for me. I'm in extreme pain and because of that he told me it should only be a week or two before I will have a surgery appointment. His office is taking there sweet time arranging my surgery date! It's been 7 weeks and all my paperwork is all set and one woman just isn't calling to book my date.

Dr Sturrock has done a few procedures on me and surgery. He was very attentive, explained everything to me and my husband. Made me feel comfortable. I feel better and am healthier since my surgery.

I was scheduled for a colonoscopy. The appt is at 9am. I should up at 8.30am like i was told. I wait til 10.45am then i was prepared for my schedule. They rush me like i was in an assemly line. I was upset and no one offered my a nice words. When they did it , i was not completely sedated an they inserted the device into my body. I was in pain and so hurt. I hope they treat people better.
