Dr. Paterson's seminar on carpal tunnel was well-organized and provided useful information. Dr. Paterson is obviously very knowledgeable and used to presenting the concepts in an easily understood manner.

I was recommended by a Rheumatoid to see Dr. Patterson. He's very caring & takes his job serious. Serious in a good way. He takes the time out to listen you. Finding better solutions to feel better health wise. I went in for bad tendonitis & wrist pain. So far I'm still seeing Patterson. I'm already feeling 70%-80% in a course of 3 months of seeing him. Dr Paterson is a great dr. Extremely knowledgeable and genuine. The problem is that he is impossible to get through to. Portal messages seem to go no where and forget about getting through using the office line.

I had bilateral carpal tunnel release performed by Dr. Paterson on 3/8/22. It took longer for set up than the procedures. The only bit of discomfort was getting the local, but that is nothing new. A day or two of post procedure discomfort, mostly because I chose to do both at once, but no tingling, numbness and no trigger finger. The tiny little incision will heal and remain unnoticeable. Besides the staffs’ and Dr. Paterson’s exceptional patient care, I was impressed by being able to pick music of my choice for the procedures which completely allays any anxiety. I also signed up for the text message via cell phone and appreciated the daily check in and instructional info. I cannot recommend Dr. Paterson highly enough.

I’ve been fortunate enough to have Dr. Paterson and his team perform two surgeries for me this year. He did a total shoulder replacement and a carpal tunnel release in both hands. I can tell you without reservation his surgical prowess and the skill of his support team is second to none. I have had 3 previous shoulder surgeries and can say this without reservation his skills are exceptional, fixed everything the other surgeons couldn’t and I will trust him to put me back together and get me back to full function any time I might require his particular services. Top quality Doctor and top quality support staff who are great people as well, always going the extra mile.

Resolved my trigger finger issues. 2 years ago. Still awesome. Now coming back for my thumb. lol. Awesome physician.

I recently saw Dr. Paterson for the removal of a sewing machine needle fragment in my hand. Dr. Paterson, his nurse and medical assistant were all very professional and kind. I was very impressed with the sincerity of Dr. Paterson. He answered all my questions and concerns, talked me through everything and truly made me feel as if I was the only patient on his radar while he saw me. He went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable during the surgical removal and ensured I was well informed on medication usage and what to look out for during recovery. Truly a genuine doctor who loves what he does and helping others. I would definitely recommend him and wouldn't hesitate to return if warranted. The worst, u leave voice mails and no one gets back to you. You also text the Doctor and he wouldn't reply back. Shows very little interest on his patients. No I wouldn't recommend to no one.

I had surgery on my left shoulder on Dec 22nd 2020 my left shoulder is not healing properly. I have faith that Dr Paterson will help me to find a solution so we can move forward to fix the shoulder. He is a very caring Dr.he explains things to you in a caring way.

I would recommend Dr Paterson 1000%! I saw him for a left carpal tunnel release, I had previously done my right wrist elsewhere, and so I have another experience to compare it to. Dr Paterson, as well as his staff are all such nice people, he makes you feel extremely comfortable. The pain I had compared to my first one is nothing, and I had instant relief! I had Dr Paterson’s release and relief carpal tunnel surgery in both wrists. I can’t say enough about the procedure, the office staff and Dr Paterson. I am a patient with ‘white coat syndrome’ (too much anxiety) and everyone was so patient with, and kind to me. I have experienced numbness in both hands for many years and had always thought I would need to be out of work for at least 6 weeks to take care of my carpal tunnel. Being self employed, I dreaded the thought. With this procedure, I was back to work in ONE week. I’m sooooo thankful for my experience and to now be pain free! Had carpal tunnel in both hands. Was seeing another ortho for years with no relief. Sought a second opinion from Dr. Paterson. I am so happy I did. After review of my prior treatments (which provided no relief) and testing, he recommended the release and relief procedure on both wrists. I elected to have both done at the same time. I was in and out in about an hour. I went back to work 3 days later (I'm a butcher). Granted I'm not 100% but was feeling so good this was possible due to the minimally evasive nature of the procedure. I would highly recommend his procedure for treatment of carpal tunnel as its minimally evasive, fast, no large incisions, and has a fast recovery period. His staff is amazing as well. I felt no pain during the procedure. The next day my hands were very sore but nothing I couldn't deal with.

Very pleased with Dr Patterson, from explaining my condition to my treatment. He listened to my questions and made sure I understood everything.

Never did imaging and missed a fracture and joint effusion and ligament tear! PA said she didn't know what I did. Wont be going there ever again.

I had surgery done by Dr Paterson recently and was highly impressed! What impressed me the most was how comfortable he and his staff made me feel prior to and during surgery. The procedure was fully explained, and during the prep work the PA did an amazing job inserting the LONG needle in my tendon; I barely felt it. Thank you!

He told my son to give up His passion for playing drums due to diagnosis. Our primary suggested PT years later. Sorry we wasted the time.

The greatest he fixed my broken finger with steel rods and can use it perfectly. I highly recommend him.

I had the misfortune of breaking my same wrist twice. Both times I was so lucky to have Dr Patterson as my Dr. Dr Patterson was able to put my wrist back together successfully in both cases. I owe the fact that I have use of that wrist and hand to Dr. Patterson. Wonderful Dr and person. We're fortunate to have him here in Buffalo!

My appt on August 1st went very well. Dr. Paterson explained everything to me and the future will hold surgery for my carpal tunnel syndrome. I hope its soon because the pain is unbearable. Second Opinion paid off: Primary MD recommends a specialist for my elbow surgery. Made appt at a b rated county medical facility in warsaw. Man enters and introduced himself as the surgeon. I couldn’t believe he’s a doctor! Body odor and wearing gym sweats and sneakers he never physically checked me within the 30 seconds of his actual time. Driving back to Buffalo I got sick just to think what I was getting into. I cancelled surgery within 24 hours. In due time I went back to my primary for routine visit, and second recommendation I was sent to a real Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Paul Paterson, MD. Dr. Paul Patterson approached me dressed in a suite, white shirt with tie and dress shoes. His introduction was impressive with a hand shake to start and importantly was humble as he listened carefully to my concerns. Dr. Patterson examined my elbow quite thoroughly and he knew by experience just what the problem is before an x-ray. Big difference in the type of man, not to mention surgeon!

He was very knowledgable and quick to get me and my condition taken care of in a timely manner.

Dr Patterson performed total reverse shoulder surgery for me. It was a great success. I gave him the go ahead to do whatever he felt necessary when he got into surgery. He reassured me that total reverse was the best option. I am recovering quickly and am very satisfied.

Dr.Paterson performed carpal tunnel release surgery on my right hand on 6/25/19. Dr. Paterson and his fine staff answered any question that I had and were all very Nice to me. Dr.Paterson came into my room and in about 5-7 minutes he was done. I did not feel any pain at all and could not believe he was finished! His staff then bandaged me up and I was ready to go home. I did not feel any pain then,the next day or now about 6 weeks later. I have scheduled another carpal tunnel release surgery on my left hand for early September with Dr.Paterson. I only wish that I had both hands done at the same time,but that was my bad choice. I would give Dr.Paterson and his fine staff ALL 5 stars and I recommend Dr.Paterson to everyone that has this painful problem.

Dr. Paterson has a very easy going and friendly manner. Not rushed, explained things so you can understand. I like his method of carpal tunnel surgery. Almost painless with just numbing shots, no anesthetic. Shorter recovery.

I had the "Release & Relief" procedure July 30th. Dr. Paterson is very personable and easy to talk to, which helped me feel very comfortable. The daily text messages he sends are extremely helpful. I would recommend talking to Dr. Paterson before going through the carpal tunnel surgery.

I had partial finger amputation. He was quick to show up and stitch me up. During the follow up visit, he and his staff was great and took their time to answer every question we had. He also gave a cell ph number to text pictures and ask questions. He responds very quickly, nights and even on a sunday. I have never had a Dr respond to me this fast, or answer my questions and give advice as fast as dr Patterson has. Best orthopedic dr I've ever had.

Dr Paterson performed a Carpal Syndrome repair procedure three weeks ago. It took 5 minutes, for a total of 30 minutes including pre and and post op. instructions for medicines and rehab. I did not have any pain, and did not use any pain medication. Feeling in my fingers was restored and now I can grip and continue with regular exercise. Dr Paterson explained all stages professionally and his staff Patrick N, Antonio J and Rachel S made a flawless experience. Extremely highly recommended

I found him to be pleasant, polite, and also succinct and straight forward. I appreciate his direct approach, I'm not there for hand holding I'm there for hand repair. One year ago i suffered a very serious hand injury wherein i severed several nerves and tendons in my right dominant hand leaving me with no movement or sensation in three of my fingers and the palm of my hand. Dr. Paterson performed highly successful surgery that reconnected the nerves and tendons in my hand. I am now approaching the one year anniversary of my surgery and I have regained the movement of my fingers, the nerves have regenerated and I owe a debt of gratitude to this outstanding Dr

Dr Patterson did surgery on my mother in law after being bumped 3 days in a row. He did not even have the decency to come talk to the family before or after surgery. He might be good at what he does but his professionalism and lack if caring for the patient or family is unacceptable. Would never recommend him
