Dr. Paul R Naour

Dr. Naour is a very caring & compassionate pain management doctor. He gave me an injection some years ago for pain before my 2nd TKR surgery, his staff was very compassionate & helpful. I still have him as a doctor just in case I need more injections in the future & I see him annually for one of my pain management scripts. If you need a pain management specialist, he would vpbe a good one to have.

Dr Naour cares about his patients. I’m able to work and live my life thanks to his treatment.

Dr. Naour is very personable. He doesn’t just treat people with a pill. He’s always trying different ways to treat my pain. Dr. Naour and his staff are very friendly and professional and I would strongly recommend him to anyone.

Dr Naour has been successfully treating my spine and disc issues and giving me great pain reduction and increased mobility for a number of years. I trust and recommend Dr Naour and am very happy I found him and his staff at MCO. He is personable and gives excellent care.

I have been receiving care for back pain at MCO for some time. Have done PT, various pain management with Dr. Naour’s associate Sandy Fader who is wonderful. After the conservative approach, it was determined it was time to try an epidural cortisone shot. Dr. Naour is great. Everyone in his staff is professional and pleasant, explaining everything. Was sent to see this so called pain Dr by a orthopedic Dr at MCO and was totally grilled by his wantobe Dr nurse just to be told sorry I know he won't bother to see you and I'll just charge you a nurse visit. It was a total waste of my time and yes I do have a very serious very painful injury. I would give this clown a minus number but it won't allow me to do that. Lied on my husband’s records stating he spent THIRTY MINUTES at a time with him and I can attest that this is insurance fraud and lies. I went with him to several visits and this doctor spent no more than a minute or two. My husband repeatedly would call and email via the portal to tell him that things weren’t working and it would take forever to get a response or he would just get referred to physical therapy (again). At the last visit he had the nerve to tell my husband he was just depressed vs. the physical pain he was experiencing. My husband was frustrated and cursed to express his feelings because he was tired of nothing working and this doctor WALKED OUT on him. I’m more appalled that the records were falsified and my husband had to explain to his new doc that he didn’t have someone that spent half hour at a time with him ever. One more thing about dr. Nour- he referred my husband to a counselor and without my husband’s consent they discussed his visits. Broke HIPPA! My husband was shocked as he did not give permission for his number of visits or content to be discussed. Anyway, I would not recommend this doctor. All he seemed to do is throw patients to physical therapy, not respond timely to questions, and lie on records. Go see a different doctor. My husband has herniated discs in his spine but he’s just “depressed”. Not a good doctor. Dr. Naour is amazing! He is very kind, empathetic, and funny! He got me in and gave me two shots in my back which immediately stopped the pain in my sciatica. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Naour, This post is in response of your post. I understand about schedules and unforeseen things can happen. Even if you do not have the time to see a patient, you can at least go in and introduce yourself and explain that things had become jumbled up. I would have been fine with that, but you, not your staff gave me the impression you just did not want to bother with me. I've worked in the medical field for years and being polite goes a long way for patient and doctor. Thanks

Actually wouldn't give him 1 star. Likes to drop patients rather then help explore other ways to treat pain. Not easy to talk to never would recommend.

I found Dr. Naour to be kind, responsive, thorough, and patient. He went through many options and I felt educated on pain relief. Dr. Naour has a warm personality that immediately set me at ease. I would highly recommend him.

Very personable and very thorough in his practice--I strongly recommend Dr. Naour.

Dr. Naour is excellent. I've been pain free for 14 months. This is after 10 years of cronic pain and several useless visits to other doctors.

Dr Naour has been helping my wife with a chronic condition. He is very engaged and truly considers our feedback. He's an awesome doctor!

Dr. Naour treated me like i was some sort of frequent flying drug seeker. I have never felt so completely and uterly dismissed. Maybe he should go back to anesthesia. Perhaps he does better with unconscious patients.

My daughter who is disabled with cerebral palsy went to see Dr. Naour for help developing a pain medication management plan. He basically treated her in a condescending manner wanting to know why she was referred to him in the first place. When she asked for help with breakthrough pain management he basically said, that is not what we are here for, go to the E.R. He acted frustrated, insecure (he kept telling her that he was good at what he does), and on top of it just not very nice.
