I don't know why the bad reviews on him but I've been seeing him for over 2 years now. very open very honest very easy to talk to. has been nothing but a help to me. very patient and understanding.

Don't be fooled by the nice decor in the waiting room and in his office. That's as good as it gets. Practically zero discussion when it came to treatment and would only prescribe one specific medication, even after me letting him know that it didn't work. If you're seeking real treatment or just a conversation about your mental health, please stay away from Mitch. He's a terrible psychiatrist. I was going from one psychiatrist after another all wanting to take me off a medication regime that took over 10 yrs to finally find and worked perfectly, without being ill everyday, for the past 7 years, toput me on medication I already knew was bad for me. Dr. Mitch understood and we have an excellent Dr./Patient relationship and communication and I am able to work with him as a team and not completely managed by a DR. He is very relaxed in his sessions and I am EXTREMELY comfortable and I TRUST him and I appreciate his approach. FEW Drs. or Psychiatrists left like him .

The room has funky decor. No receptionist. Paul Mitch acts very strange and doesn't seem to care except for the insurance you carry.

Dr. Mitch called in response to the voicemail I left him in regards to becoming a new patient. As soon as he discovered he doesn’t take my insurance, he hung up on me. The entire phone conversation was unprofessional. Yuck.
