Office staff is very rude, unprofessional, and they do not stay up on the patient’s care. My daughter has been on the depo shot for 5 years and we were recently informed by another gynecologist that the max is 3 years! We called one time to reschedule the depo shot and was told they didn’t have her in the system even though she was getting shots from them 2 years at this time. They informed me she had not had a gynecologist exam or office visit in 2 years because someone clearly dropped the ball in their office. She found a lump in her breast and we saw the NP, Morgan Casto, who did nothing at the appointment. I advised her of a strong family history of breast cancer on both sides of the family and she said due to my daughters age she couldn’t do an exam. I took her to Christine Agnew who did a thorough exam and followed up with her 6 weeks later. Thankfully it was nothing. We have now left this practice and it was the best decision. I just wish I did it sooner!

I have been a patient of Dr. Hunter's for fifteen years! He helped me bring all three of my children into the world as well as my niece and nephew. He is the most amazing doctor I have met in every way. I'm generally uneasy around doctors and hospitals but not with Dr. Hunter. He has an amazing ability to be able to talk with you and explain things to you and to make you feel safe, confident and comfortable with your exams, procedures, tests, pregnancies, surgeries and births! Also in the fifteen years I've been here, there have been a few different phlebotomists at Thomas Hunter and Associates but every single one has been amazing at their job!!! He is the best obgyn around! He is very helpful! He actually cares about his patients not there money. He is very polite! He goes to the desk and tells the people what he wants instead of the patient telling them. His office got me in and got me right back out I didn’t have to wait longer than 5 to 10 min. I will never go to another obgyn!

Very good bed side manners easy to talk to. And very gentle when doing your exams. He also talks to you about your care.

We absolutely love this doctor. He is one of the most polite down to earth doctors, yet so educated and professional. I hate CAMC, but continue going there for my OBG needs just for this doctor.

Dr. Hunter is very professional and he took the time to ensure the best care throughout my pregnancy delivery and postpartum. He also has great bedside manners!
