Thank goodness for reviews after reading a few of the 1 stars because no star's was available. I will have to reach out to my doctor to refer me to a different hand specialist. I need someone that will listen & attempt to fix the issue not make thing's worse! No thank you!

Dr. Guidera was the IME for my carpal tunnel injury. I have received what I consider to be optimal care and my injury feels like it's completely gone. All of the doctors, nurses and occupational therapist who provided care throughout this process have been excellent, including Dr. Guidera. I'm very grateful to all of them.

I came in for a worker’s compensation exam only. He was very kind, knowledgeable and I enjoyed my visit here. Edit: I originally gave 5 stars but now I can see in the reviews that this office has publicly outed a patient for not being able to pay their bill. This is unethical, the patient’s name is attached. I find that Dr. Guidera and his staff are very knowledgeable and pleasant.

Look no further for a top-notch hand and wrist surgeon. No-nonsense but also very caring. Everyone is amazed at my surgery scar. Practically invisible!

The best hand doctor I have ever seen carefully explained what was wrong with my hand and described what he was going to do to repair the injury and felt that he cared very much so to help me recover. His staff is very respectful and caring. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.......

Dr Guidera and his staff are the BEST!!! Dr Guidera saved my life. He was treating me for a broken left hand work injury but I got dog bitten on my ring finger Sunday at noon, had it cleaned out by a Medical Center, Monday I was so sick, by Tuesday 9:30 appt Dr Guidera saw my finger & told me to go straight to ER (which I did) 30 minutes later my hand had doubled in size and was growing by the second with blood poisoning up my left arm to my elbow, my time was running out by 48 hours. The surgeon said out of 11 cases of sepsis that came in about the same time, I was the only lucky one. After 2 surgeries & a lot of antibiotics we managed to save it, he said the others weren't so lucky. Sepsis in 48 to 72 hours can take your finger or foot, arm or leg, or your life. I was suppose to be on a plane Wed. at 6: am for my son's wedding in Las Vegas. I missed it but I am alive. I am left handed and love arts & crafts, I would have missed it daily. I told them that I wanted to see a doctor for my broken hand, then after they got me in, they told me the doctor was out for the day, and I never saw a doctor. After that, when an MA was reviewing my medical history she said, "OK, so you have heart disease on both sides of your family. Lucky you." It was the most inconsiderate thing I have ever heard a medical professional say. This guy definitely isn't working for the patients. He is very harsh, arrogant, and disrespectful. Acts like you're not worthy of his time. If you're looking for a doctor that will deny a worker's compensation claim in guessing he's your guy.

Called to schedule an appointment and the person who answered was rude to me.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Guidera. He was polite and very professional.

Dr. Guidera, Nicole (PA), and staff were nothing but excellent. From the time I first contacted them to the time of surgery, they were prompt, available, thorough (with testing to make sure diagnosis was accurate), and excellent! I never needed even one pain med (over the counter or prescribed) since surgery. The shooting pain and numbness that caused sleepless nights and much discomfort were completely gone immediately after surgery. Thank you, Guidera team! Dr Guidera and his staff are really great. They help to get you through the insurance quagmire. They are truly committed to the well being of their patients.

I saw Dr. Guidera on 6/25/19 and he was a perfect gentlemen. I had an issue with my pinky finger and he knew right away what was wrong but took an X-ray anyway. He gave me a choice of surgery or a splint for 8 weeks. I chose the spline, he said good choice and I felt very comfortable. He told me if I have any issues to call the clinic or come in and he would check on it. He was very nice and knew what he was talking about. The office staff was very professional and friendly which I feel is very important. I only had one problem with Dr. Guidera and that was, I asked him if he wanted to buy a car at the new Arrowhead BMW dealership where I work and he said no twice. lol he has a good sense of humor. I would recommend him and the clinic to my family and friends. 5 Stars

I would never recommend this doctor the worst I have ever encountered . His surgery skills is what you would expect from a first year med student on there first day .

Awful bedside manner!! Never even introduced himself. The 1st words out of his mouth were, "I am not your doctor, I won't treat you. I was contracted by your work to do a consult." Was made to give 5 years of records and pretty sure he didn't even read anything. Made lots of assumptions. Acted like he had better things to do. Had two hand surgeries with Dr. Guidera. Excellent results and highly recommend him.

Excellent care from consult to surgery and recovery. The staff at both offices are professional & friendly. Dr. Guidera & PA-C Nicole went above and beyond to ensure my fiance' Spyros felt confident about the surgery, answering every question and taking great care in the placement of the incision so as not to mess up his tattoo!

Dr Nicole Atallah is amazing, as well as the other office staff members. Very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and they always have a good amount of appointments available. I did not have insurance and they were very understanding and were able to work with me. 10/10 would recommend.

Even though I came here based on workman's comp, my experience here has been awesome. I felt great every step of the way. Even though I have surgery this Friday, I know I'm in good hands with nothing to worry about. I give you guys an update, but if your looking for a great hand doctor this is the place!!

Absolutely magnificent, the care and recovery was very easy. The movement in my wrist is ???? % percent. I have a plate and 6 screws in my left wrist. My last exam date was 10-18-2016 and there has never been an issue. Highly recommended.

I went to Dr Guidera for a torn tendon in my elbow. After a year and a half of physical therapy with no relief, he told me that I should “use your other arm and get over it” I couldn’t believe it!!! He was completely uncaring and unwilling to help me. I went to another doctor who corrected the problem with surgery and I am now able to use both of my arms without pain. I would NOT recommend him to anyone!!

Dr. Guidera saw me, and I could tell from my description of my problem with my index finger that he had a good idea of the issue. After an in office x-ray, he returned and asked to see my thumb as well, and I assured him that it was an old cycling injury but was glad he was so thorough. The office staff was very kind and took the time to explain what they were doing along the way. Thank you for the excellent care during my visit!

I had a horrible experience at Core institute with my wrist. My office manager told me about Dr Guidera who she said was the best wrist specialist in Arizona. I made an appointment with his PA because I wanted in right away. But while I was seeing the PA, Dr Guidera came in the room and in just a few minutes had the problem figured out...something the Core doctors hadn't been able to do in 2 months of visits and expensive tests. Dr G was patient, interested and very caring FIVE STARS!!

John the PA cared for me from my first appointment all the way thru Post Surgery for my Carpal Tunnel. He truly was genuinely caring and extremely knowledgeable in all areas concerning my wrist and ongoing pain. The front office girls were diligent and always friendly, especially Sophia who always made sure to follow up with me if I ever left a message. Overall experience Superb!! Fabulous results from my surgery! Full rotation in just 60 days!

I saw Dr G for a second opinion about my wrist because of the recommendation of a close friend. The first doctor I saw wanted to do surgery right away! I was really impressed that Dr G took so much time with me even though the waiting room was packed. His staff was very friendly and professional. We agreed that a surgery wasn't necessary and he personally called a hand therapist while I was there to discuss a treatment plan. My wrist was better in 4 weeks. Forget the rest: see the best!

It has been 3 weeks since I went to the Dr. And they have yet to call me to schedule an appointment for my surgery. Even after 2 attempts to contact them. Excuse #1 they are out of town until next week. Excuse 2. She is on the phone I'll have her return your call as soon as she is off the phone, no return call.

Worst Dr. ever! I did not even see Dr. Guidera for 3 visits. The prognosis was a torn ligiment in my hand, but no imaging was done to see the extent of the injury by his office. I was told "do nothing" in between each of the three visits over the course of a couple of months. The whole time i was going I believed I was seeing Guidera, only to find it was his assistant I had been seeing. Once I was finally allowed to see Dr. Guidera, I found he shared the same "do nothing" attitude his entire offive shared. He was abrasive and rude while I explained my pain and swelling for over four months was of great concern for ever returning to work. His response was, "We don't fix pain". If a doctor doesn't fix pain and inmobility than what good is the doctor? When I asked how I was going to work again without the use of my dominant hand his response was, "well change your career or learn to compensate with your left hand". What kind of doctor says this to a paitant?! I was enraged and it took everything to not reply, " I'd like to see you 'compensate' with your left hand and throw your career away". Needless to say, seeing Dr. Guidera is a loss of time, money, and your healing process. I wasted months, don't waste a first visit. Worst Dr. ever! I did not even see Dr. Guidera for 3 visits.
