Great Dr and staff He has been my Dr for approximately 20 yrs and has always preformed w/ Excellence! Great Carpenter-

Very professional

Very courteous And friendly staff.

I was seen quickly and the doctor answered my questions.

I drove 2 hours to see Dr. Geibel, he was very thorough with my exam. And was extremely concerned regarding my lower back issues, I was schedule for emergency surgery. He explained everything and made me feel at ease. I would highly recommend Dr. Geibel!!

Friendly atmosphere. Dr Geibel is easy to communicate with He makes you comfortable and has a sense of humor. His recommendations made sense.

First time seeing Dr. Geibel, he was very pleasant and easy to talk to. He seemed legitimately concerned with my back problems. Definitely recommend seeing him if you need an orthopedic doctor!!

All good, I just hated waiting an hour to be seen.

Dr. Geibel ALWAYS takes all the time the patient needs to understand and feel comfortable. He is amiable, compassionate and doesn’t have that “god” complex so many surgeons seem to have. I highly recommend Dr. Geibel!

Dr Geibel was very helpful with some solutions to my neck pain. I truly appreciate that he took the time to listen to me & explain the situation with my neck. I would definitely recommend him as a spinal doctor.

1st visit went great: reviewed my symptoms, examined me & discussed possible causes, further testing & arranged prompt follow up. Clearly an experienced doctor, with methodical approach to my problem! RM

Dr Geibel was attentive to me as a patient. He answered our questions and did not rush. Office staff was great overall. Little slow getting scripts sent out. Took over 4 hrs for the pharmacy to get the request but it did go thru.

Staff very friendly and accommodating , Dr. Geibel friendly and very knowledgeable and helpful. I know my recovery is his desire.

The wait wasn’t very long and everyone was very friendly and efficient. Dr. Geibel had X-rays taken and said everything looked good. He listened to and addressed my concerns. Great visit!

I felt Dr Geibel was more friendly this visit than last November 2021 in New Braunfels. My wait time was very brief as opposed to previously in 2021. ( I can respect that was his busy season, with many surgeries scheduled.)

Had surgery on March 16 went in with a lot of pain. Came out with no pain. Office staff was wonderful. The spinal clinic was wonderful also. I highly recommend Dr. Geibel.

The staff at the San Marcos office were so awesome.. they made you feel like you were the only one in the office.. love you guys.!!

Follow-up to surgery

Dr. Geibel did surgery on my 81 year old mom. Obviously she is sore from the surgery however the leg pain is gone. She is walking a couple times per day and doing very well. He communicated very well regarding informing us along the way.

Dr. Paul T. Geibel is a wonderful doctor with a good bedside manner and a great sense of humor. He is very down to earth. I’ve had two back surgeries and have been very pleased with the results.

Dr Geibel is really great! Super bedside manner! Wonderful skill! Very impressed! Only issue. Very difficult to contact. Need more clerical staff to man phones and answer questions. Very busy office.. Overall so happy we choose Dr Geibel!

I recently moved to the area from Ohio. I had a L4/L5 fusion 4 years ago. I recently began to have pain, numbness and weakness. My new primary physician referred me to Dr. Geibel and I was a bit nervous about a new neurosurgeon but Dr. Geibel took time to go over my past history and new symptoms. He went over the MRI with me and answered questions that I had. We came up with a plan and I was very pleased that he is the doctor taking care of me. I had Dr. Geibel perform spinal fusion surgery in December 2020. Everything about this procedure has been perfect and life changing. He is one of my angels! Just finished my 14 month checkup and all is well and very strong. My thanks to Dr. Geibel and everyone involved with my surgery.

Dr. Geibel has operated on my back twice, 17 years apart. He had always listened to my concerns and help guide me in making the correct decision. His staff is also very helpful. Both surgeries have been very successful and I have recommended Dr. Geibel to several friends.

Outstanding bedside manners

Back surgery went like clockwork from the first office visit to the post op care. My husband is pain free for the first time in years. Don't be afraid of the back surgery if you are seeing Dr. Geibel. The results have been more than we could have hoped for. His staff goes above and beyond to make the entire process seamless.

He is as good as doctors get .Not in a hurry,looking for best outcome.

Not only a great Doctor a friend

Awesome first visit, I look forward to further visits for treatment.

Dr. Geibel has been the back surgeon for my husband, and myself - all with excellent results. He is very patient to explain x-rays and procedures and South Texas Spine and Surgical Hospital is top-notch. A local surgeon told me I was too old at the time (60 yrs. old) to have a minimally invasive procedure to repair a buldging disc and pinched nerve - so I suffered with this condition for several years until I could no longer hardly walk, drive, sit or stand - finally I heard about Dr. Geibel. It was a long drive to San Antonio from where we lived - but well worth the effort. Immediately after surgery, I was relieved of pain and able to walk, drive, sit, stand and sleep at night without interruption. Ten (10) years later, at the age of 70, I get around just as good at age 60. I do have to limit the weight I pick up, I am careful about too much exercise - but I am very pleased with the results.

I've been a pateince for 30 years and always feel that I receive the best medical care that is available.

Always have a great experience with Dr Geibel. He lets you know exactly what is going on, and what he can do to correct the issue. He answered all of our questions, and made sure that we had all of the info that we need to go forward.

I had an appointment on the 26th. I had a great experience at this facility. The doctor and staff were very professional. The doctor really cared about my needs and was very patient explaining my issues and and answering my questions. I would recommend this facility to family and friends. Thank you so much!!

Today was my first visit with Dr. Geisel. He was very thorough explaining my condition, which fortunately was very minor and can be treated with therapy. His office staff and radiology staff were all very nice as well.

Dr. Geible is the Best. He is a gentleman and a great surgeon. Do to my line of work I continued to hurt my back. I went back to Dr. Geible and he put me through physical therapy before suggesting surgery. The surgery always relieved my pain. I trust this doctor with any spinal problems I have. He gives you all the time you need and encourages questions.
