Paul Fenton

This surgeon used to be extraordinary. Not so for the past 5-6 years. Was dismissive of me (60-something female) and as a result I had many blood clots after a shoulder replacement. Nearly cost me my life until I finally checked myself into an ER after months of feeling short of breath. Was never put on preventive blood thinner post-op—a stand practice for many orthopedic surgeons today. Not acceptable!!

Their was never a meniscus tear in any way in my knee. Paul said I had a meniscus tear in my knee and a knee bruise. Then he refused to do a scope. I had my knee scoped by another Surgeon and the tissue in my knee made the MRI look like a meniscus tear, but it never was a meniscus tear. MRI scans are not 100 percent conclusive. My knee had no arthritis or anything wrong with it at all. The surgeon said fatigue made the knee pop and thats probably what happened. I mean I never fell or anything. I was just running along a path and the back of my leg got hot and the knee popped. Now Im fine. Was I the problem or was Paul the problem. People do change, but not with him around. He wasnt going to change for me, so I wasnt going to change for him.

Had rotator cuff surgery in 2019 and was not happy with results. After surgery only felt 20% improvement. Nice guy but hard to recommend him for rotator surgery

My knee surgery was three years ago, Dr Fenton and his staff were all very gracious to me, and I began rehab the same week. My knee continues to get better and I have a good range of motion. Initially I thought I would need surgery on my other knee, but it has gotten better too! Dr Fenton explained to me how the pressure was more balanced now. I am pleased with all of it. So, yay me.

Dr Fenton preformed my knee replacements in 2016 with incredible results. I remembered hearing if I needed any medical procedures I should be on an antibiotic. I called the office and got a return call at 7:30 pm by his nurse who was still working. What an awesome group to make sure I was taken care of.

Dr. Fenton is very friendly, professional and straight-forward. He explained my surgical procedure in detail and answered all of my questions. He came highly recommended by family members and I am very happy with the care and treatment I have received.

I had shoulder surgery with Dr. Fenton 4 years ago after the surgery I underwent intense physical therapy for several months and was unable to make progress. I was referred back to him for a follow up to discuss why I was still in so much pain and had so little range of motion. At the appointment Dr Fenton told me I had "platteued" and there was nothing more he could do. He refused to consider doing a manipulation because that would have hurt his precious ego. He said "I dont make mistakes"

Dr. Fenton, was the surgeon, that performed my husband's and my rotator cuff surgery. He, in our opinion, based on his performance was the right choice. We suggest to so many friends that Dr. Fenton is excellent. We were so pleased with our results.

I was referred to Dr Fenton after seeing my primary, to get his opinion of the degree of osteoarthritis in my knee. He said I was surgical candidate, but he recommended corticosteroid injections first. Being a medical technologist, I was already anticipating the worst. He and Shaun the PA explained my situation and relayed it in a professional level and made me feel comfortable, confident, and very much at ease. Shaun skillfully performed the injection. My knee feels great! Thanks gentlemen!
