Dr. Paul David Carlan

charged me extra for a test that he claimed was routine. I get stuck with a five hundred dollar bill. he denies responsibility says insurance is complicated. his secretary just kept chanting "know your benefits." when I asked about the surprise bill. good thing its against the law to do that now or he would keep doing it.

Want to be lectured to like you’re six years old? Want to hear someone go on and on about nothing to do with you? Want someone who seems to care about his time more than your health? Want someone who does not listen? If so, this is your boy. Good luck.

Go to someone who cares. This guy doesn’t. He’s arrogant, curt, doesn’t listen, and won’t answer questions. The worst pcp I’ve been to.

Pretty upsetting. Then I read his report. WOW. My perception that he was hostile to my concerns was born out by his inaccurate information, dismissive, patronizing, & disrespectful comments that were entered into my permanent record. I went in with a request for a specific referral & came out with an RX to watch a video & go for PT*. He reminded me twice that I had only 30 mins. He noted that I didn't have conditions that are IN MY RECORDS. He had an agenda: "tell her whatever it takes to get her out in 30 mins." *Made appointments for PT right away.

Based on my experience, Dr. Carlan is arrogant, curt, insulting and refuses care to elderly or low-income patients without the latest home health care technology, smart phone and computer technology at home. He also refuse to do follow-up care appointments.

This guy just argued w/me, and didn't do his job even close to what he should. I lost count of the # of times he was wrong, & I was right, and even had to change PCPs and health-care networks before I got the MRI I wanted to get taken, complained about it properly, and shows the level is a mishap has developed to.

Very knowledgeable and competent. Always asks if there is anything else you want to talk about.

Patient profiling, unable to connect the dots, blames patient instead of determining root underlying cause. Very poor bed side manners. Suffers from "god complex". Unable to control his temper. If you value your health, mental sanity and/or your self respect and dignity don't allow this Doctor to practice his quackery on you.
