If there was a rating in the minus category it would be far more accurate for this supposed orthopedic surgeon, also referred to in Lake County California circles as Dr. de Sade.

Would not recommend at all

Everyone was nice but if you have something seriously wrong go elsewhere! My son has a broken clavicle, (three weeks post break) we go in for a follow up to see how its healing. He looks at it and says your good to go 100% . What a joke we could have said that. No x-ray to see healing progress, no exercises to do......nothing. Just go 100% your good to go. Excellent surgeon! Dr. Axtel pinpointed the problem and was able to repair the ACL as well as Miniscus laparoscopically. Was back up on my feet in less than a week. It’s been 2 weeks now and I’m gaining mobility quicker than expected. Thank you Dr. Axtel!

As a patient and an employee I couldn't ask for a better doctor. He is easy to work with and also very thorough with his patients. Appointments scheduled in a timely manner. Highly recommend!

Dr. Axtell's dedication to Orthopedics is astounding. He not only is awesome to work for but he genuinely cares about his patients. I have received treatment myself as well as friends and family. He goes above and beyond!!!!
