I'm a 60 year old man have had a few bad experiences with doctors in my day but I can't say enough about Dr Austin and his team listens to your concerns well if he's not sure orders tests he took blood ran tests I received results same day he ordered a CT scan for the next week I had results the same day everything fine Big relief I would totally recommend Paul and his team to anyone in the area looking for a family Dr great job

Dr. Austin is an ok doctor but be prepared to deal with terrible staff. Every time I call I’m on hold for over 45 minutes before anyone answers. Ridiculous! Between the pharmacy and myself we’ve tried over 7 times to get a medication refill. One of my regular medications. Nothing controlled, I’m not due to be seen!!! I’m switching doctors TODAY! My husband, James, and I have been patients of Dr.Austin for almost 20 years and until two months ago we thought he was a great doctor. We have been calling his offices in both his Mt. Dora and Leesburg offices for two months and no one has ever answered the phone even though we listened to music for 20 minutes at the Mt.Dora office and got a busy signal at the Leesburg office. I ran out of one of my blood pressure medications and even the pharmacy tried to reach him several times to get a refill for me but he never responded to them either. My husband and I , both age 77, very scared and upset. If he has dropped us as patients why haven't we gotten any notice either by e-mail or regular mail to let us know and should have offered us a referral to another doctor that accepts Medicare and United Health Care insurance. Fantastic, caring health provider that listens to his patients. This is unusual in today's medicine where most doctors are rushing through each interview or visit. I have been a patient for over ten years, after retiring as a PA in Orlando, FL.

I have been a patient of Dr Paul Austin for 11 years and am so amazed how he throughly goes over your health problems and questions. Just like my family doctor did in the 50s. Great care. Definitely recommend him if you want a caring doctor!
