Dr. Wood was a great doctor when he was seeing me in Madison. Then I showed up for an appointment one day and the nurses that were there told me that he wasn't there and didn't know when or if he would be back. So after calling and calling to try to communicate with the clinic I finally found out it had closed and all the medical records were sent to storage and to this day I am not able to access them. I would really like to have my file from this clinic so that I can take it to my new doctor to review. But cannot contact him. At this point I would definitely not recommend him to anyone else due to the fact that he is not reliable.

I was a patient of Dr. Wood for at least 10 years and the only complaint I ever had was the wait to see him, but he more than made up for it because of the time he gave back to me. He explained his determinations in great lengths and was very helpful to me with my many issues and questions. I would be still seeing him now if he had not moved away. He does tremendous research on his patients’ issues (mine being primarily fibromyalgia), but I did have other problems that he helped and advised me wisely with. I would highly recommend him to anyone and say that my loss is your gain! He had patients coming from all over the US and outside as well. I’ll only add that he went to great lengths to help me and all of his other patients and I wish the very best for him in his future practice!

He got me hooked on a lot of medication and then just up and closed his office in Madison, MS!! WARNING STAY AWAY FROM HIM! I learned the hard way!!

Dr. Wood is an excellent Physician. Take a long wait—it’s WORTH it. He is not rushing you in and out like most pcp’s because he is actually doing his job-well, earnestly, and in compassionate detail. He sees, listens to, and hears the patient-that’s important. Dr. Wood saved my life and has significantly improved the quality of my life. I wouldn’t be here today if it weren’t for him. I have a rare neurological disease that affects 1-2 people per million. He never gave up on me or ever labeled me as just psychosomatic, like others did. With his guidance, it took around 2 1/2 years to get our answer-when the average time for diagnose of my illness take 7 years! I trust him with my life and highly recommend him. My children think he is a superhero for saving their mom. *And, his staff is wonderful, they truly CARE for their patients, and make you feel like family every time you walk in the door.

Not a good Doctor. Uses to many medications. Leaves you waiting for appointments forever. .Office is run terrible with no return of important calls. Do not go to Dr. Wood.
