Very kind, efficient staff. Little waiting time. Nice doctor

Staff was nice, if not harried and stressed (it seemed to me). Granted it was very busy with patients checking in, and out, and phones ringing. Dr. Winter told me the percentage of success of my injury healing without surgery (85%). Which made it easy to make my decision. It was easy to make my follow up appointment. All around good experience.

Dr. Wiater is very smart and has a passion for his work. He is amazing and caring. The office crew are efficient, warm and friendly. Dr. Wiater is always willing to take the time to answer all your questions and concerns without making you feel rushed out. Highly recommend!

Very pleased with the service I experienced today at MOS-Beverly Hills. This was my first visit. The staff was very professional and pleasant. Wait time to see Dr. Patrick Wiater was reasonable. Dr. Wiater was very patient, personal, candid and thorough (great eye contact) in explaining my option(s). He listened and provided answers (not rushing) in the same manner to my questions and concerns. I left feeling comfortable, and confident on the decision to have the recommended surgery.

My Dr was running late because of an emergency but he came right in full of information apologized for the tardiness and assured me I'm mending. He is thorough.

Dr Wiater treated me for a broken leg back in 2008, and I had to see him again recently for a problem with one of the rods in my leg. He is knowledgeable and friendly, a real professional. I was pleasantly surprised that he remembered me from so long ago, and it was like talking to an old friend. I was completely comfortable with the way my problems were handled and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needed help with any orthopedic surgeries, injuries, etc. His entire family is highly respected in the medical field...so this is no surprise to me or to anyone else who knows him. Dr. Patrick Wiater is very capable in terms of the surgical services he provides and the time and effort he spends with his patients. I deeply appreciate the expert work he did on my shreddled distal femur. And he has never seems anxious to get out of the room during an appointment. I feel like folks have this idea that just having the technical medical skills is enough, but if you've had an unexpected physical trauma you know that it is also critical to be able to talk with your surgeon at every step of your procedure and recovery. These people are entitled and rude.... like they are doing you a favor in having you as a customer. DO NOT RECOMMEND. They don't know it, but they are also pretty disorganized.

They will have you waiting in the waiting room for hours They don't answer the phone to set appointments the MAs are rude and unhelpful I gave 1 star because I had to If no stars was an option that would be the best option for this establishment

The BEST darn orthopedic MD. This man has is down to the cut! Had him and his team take care of a FEW issues with my elbows and wrists, Dr. Water and his "crack" team of specialists showed care and concern for my well-being that came straight from the heart! Fears and worries were handled immediately. My recovery was swift and nearly painless. My wife chose the good doc and his team as well, with the same care received! An incredible orthopaedic trauma surgeon. I am so fortunate I have my foot today thanks to Dr. Patrick Wiater's phenomenal, extraordinary surgical care after a horrific car accident. Multiple emergency foot surgeries performed by this incredible trauma surgeon. A true angel.

He is a liar and should not be trusted. Find another Ortho ASAP!!!

If you like hanging out in the waiting room this is a great Dr. to see. Hour and 20 minutes before we saw him.

It's been a while since I broke my tibia and fibula in 2006, but Dr. Wiater's handiwork has relegated those injuries to history! My titanium rods have only triggered detectors at The Joe only once since then and that's my only complaint...which really isn't one.

I used to take my mother in for knee injections to see Dr. wiater. One day she was in severe pain and needed an immediate appointment. I called and got hung up on 6 times in 15 minuets by I believe it was Tanisha. Very poor service on her end. Never took my mother back to that office after that. I have just heard from my sister that she has had her husband at Dr. Jerome Wiater's office for 4 hours and they still have not been seen. Part of the problem is both of them have dementia. It took my sister 2 hours to fill out the paperwork. Rather than take my brother in law in to see the doctor while she struggled with the paperwork, they made them wait. Now they are final in the queue and were told there are eight people ahead of them. My sister is 70 and my brother in law is 74. He doesn't walk on his own and has to have help to use the bathroom. What kind of compassion has been shown these 2 people and what kind of compassion will others receive at the hands of this office? Sure, they probably could have filled out the paperwork online, but really, they are not computer literate. It occurs to me that the front office is the face of Dr. Wiater. I would think he would rather have a good public image than the one he currently has. I hope he is not recommended to anyone else. The "bedside manner" stinks. Four emergency trauma foot surgeries performed by Dr. Patrick Wiater. I'm lucky I have my foot today thanks to Dr. Wiater! I have nothing but the utmost respect for Dr. Patrick Wiater.

This happened when I was 17. My left thigh basically blew up from leg impact playing sports and I suffered acute compartment syndrome. I had fasciotomy surgery done by Dr. Wiater a few hours later. Within 6 months I was playing sports again. Today, it's 14 years later, I'm 31 and am still active and not felt an ounce of pain since my injury. Thank you doctor. This happened when I was 17. I visited doctor Patrick Wiater year ago after I broke my left leg Achilles tendon while paying soccer at age of 57. His experience, advice and very understanding demeanor have made me feel very comfortable at very first visit. Although my tendon had significant rapture and I had no function of my left foot, he recommended not to do surgery and assured me that immobilization will be more then sufficient considering that I will not play sports professionally. After several months of wearing permanent cast and then removable booth, my left foot has regain full functionality. I did follow up with physical therapy for several months as Patrick recommended, and I still exercise at home daily. My foot has regained both strength and function (without limping) and I can again do all my daily chores around home and work (less playing soccer again :-) of course). His staff has been very professional and accommodating when I needed another unscheduled / emergency appointment. I will gladly recommend doctor Patrick Wiater to all my friends and family if they ever need similar type of orthopedic service. Doctor is great, however office stuff are very unpleasant, rude, and hard to deal with. My follow up appointment was canceled 4 times in a row, I can’t see the doctor for 3 month now. I had a quite difficult surgery, need X-rays, still have pain, and office stuff would not schedule me to see the doctor. No explanations, nothing. Would love to go to another doctor, however limited by the insurance.

He doesn't recommend surgery he doesn't believe will help you which I certainly appreciate. He spends time explaining exactly what your problems are and lists your options. It's nice to deal with a doctor that treats you like a person, not just a number.

Dr Wiater did 3 pelvic surgeries on my husband in December 2015 after a terrible fall and we are so grateful for his skilled hands and his care. Hubby is doing very well and doctor Wiater has been a blessing!
