I had Dr. Timmins for a Hysterectomy in July of 2020. I found Dr. Timmins to be a very compassionate doctor. He explained my condition well and answered any questions that I had. His office staff was awesome! Very friendly and helpful through the whole process. I was actually sad when I was discharged from Dr. Timmins care because I was Cancer free. I liked him very much and would differently recommend him.

Good bedside manner answered my questions advised options. Very happy

I had my initial consult with Dr. Timmins on 2/12/20. From check in point staff was very nice. My exam and consult with Dr. Timmins was and excellent experience. He made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Timmins answered all my questions and took his time with me. I will be having a hysterectomy using the Devinci Robotic surgery. I feel very confident with having Dr. Timmins as my surgent. Extremely unhappy with Dr. Timmins. He caused irreparable damage during what should have been a routine oopherectomy. He knows this happening and could not care less. He is as arrogant as they come. Stay away!

BEWARE! I had read the negative reviews describing Dr. Timmins as being arrogant and uncaring, but I thought it wouldn’t matter as long as he was a good doctor. How wrong I was! I came out of an oopherectomy performed by Dr. Timmins with a condition called Slipped Rib Syndrome (SRS). SRS is an extremely painful condition because with the rib cartilage broken off, every movement made causes your ribs rub along the intercostal nerves. Dr. Timmins was kind enough to tell me that he believed my extreme rib pain was most likely SRS, but even though this pain was subsequent to surgery with him, he was not quite kind or caring enough to have any interest in helping me. $45,000+ later of out-of-pocket expenses as a result of going from doctor to doctor and having tons of imaging done (without any results because no local doctors had even heard of SRS), I had to go to the University of West Virginia for surgery to fix my SRS. Ribs on both the left and right were broken off, but I was only able to fix one side because it is such a painful surgery to remedy SRS. The pain is better, but I remain, almost two years after my surgery with Dr. Timmins, on opioids and nerve blockers, and I still have daily pain and limited mobility. My life has been completely altered after having surgery with Dr. Timmins and he truly could not care less... BEWARE!

This man may be good with cancer. He really gets confused with women who have the other 10% of problems not related to cancer. I had a complete hysterectomy for NO reason. I was young enough to have another child, and spoke my wishes. He told my husband and I that was probably not going to happen with all the problems I have. After waking up from surgery, I found out he removed ALL my reproductive parts and my appendix. I requested the pathological report. Imagine my surprise when I saw nothing was wrong with anything he removed!!! This man was my second opinion, get a third opinion with a reputable woman gynecologist! At 38 and being in menopause and feeling like a neauter, I have to admit, this man is arrogant and wrong. His reason for being a gynecologist, I thought it would be easy. Ladies beware. DOCTOR TIMMONS IS AN AMAZING, KIND, SKILLFUL, INTELLIGENT DOCTOR, AND a Superb human being, his warmth and bedside manner are genuine. I would suggest him to everyone. His staff is also very great and the assistant in the office Hayley is also extremely helpful, and approachable. ( Poughkeepsie office)

Removed everything in a radical hysterectomy. Pathology reports showed no tumor, no diseased or damaged tissue. Even removed my appendix. Really wish I knew to find a third opinion with a valued female gynecologist.

If you have cancer perhaps he's good. If you are one of the 10% who don't, he's a complete mess. Gave me a complete hysterectomy for NO reason at the age of 38. I requested the pathological reports, nothing wrong with anything he removed. He took my ability to have a child and was extremely arrogant.

I was extremely pleased with DR.Timmons. He is kind and skillful, and intelligent and his warmth and bedside manner are Supreme. He carefully diagnosed me, took time with me, made follow-up appointments and continued to take care of me until my problem was solved. When a lot of doctors could not figure out what was wrong..he took the time based on my complicated family history to make sure I felt comfortable, and also that I felt BETTER. This is an excellent doctor.
