I received outstanding care by Dr. Tester and his nurse, Crystal. Oxygen and medication for my breathing issues were issued very quickly and efficiently. The oxygen and breathing equipment was delivered to me within hours. I received outstanding medical attention from Dr. Tester and his staff. I have spent the last two nights without a single breathing issue!

Always there when needed along with the nursing staff. Was able to set up a virtual meeting within two hours of email response from Britney.

I agree Dr. Tester does not listen to his patients. After three months I finally went to a specialist for my sinus infection. In addition, I refuse to go back to him. I inherited him after my original Dr. left Wilimington Health. Dr. Watson spoke very highly of him. But after multiple times of him or his Physician Assistant not listening to me I am done. Both Dr Tester and Brittany were professional, customer focused and knowledgeable about their responsibilities. Brittany knew what to do and communicated effectively to me what she was doing. Dr. Tester is one of the best docs we've ever had. My husband and I both see Dr. Tester. He is professional and caring. Easy to talk to and doesn't rush through your visit. We highly recommend him and his staff.

Dr Tester & his nursing staff are attentive, thorough and always willing to listen to patient’s concerns. I’ve been especially impressed with his staff and Stephanie in particular, If I need attention quickly, they have always managed to get me on his schedule as quickly as possible.Thanks!

I agree with all of the comments regarding Dr. Tester not being a good listener.. He asks a question then doesn't listen to the answer.. I could go on, but the main point is that unfortunately he's probably not in the right profession, unless he can change his ways

Very happy with Dr. Tester and his staff. They are very responsive to my husband and I when we have issues and we like their use of the patient portal for communication. We feel like we are in good hands.

I have the highest regard for Dr. Tester and his staff. I have had some pretty complicated medical issues and he and his staff have always taken care of my needs.

Dr. Patrick Tester is my primary care provider with Wilmington Health. He is a true professional in every sense. He takes time to listen and provides honest feedback and medical advice. I never feel like I'm being rushed to clear the way for the next patient. I rank him with 5 stars plus and am very glad to have him as my doctor. He always tells me to give him a call at any time if I need some advice or if I'm having a medical issue. I also want to applaud his assistant, Britney Nestlehutt. She responds to any message I send her almost immediately I messaged her regarding a prescription renewal and she took care of it within minutes and I heard from the prescription pharmacy the same day to tell me the renewal was received and the prescription was on it's way to me via USPS. I'm entirely pleased with Wilmington Health and all the men and women medical professionals that I come in contact with on every visit. Truly the best I've ever had. Thank you!

Dr. Tester's team was quick to get me scheduled for a same day visit when I had a sudden health concern. Not only did Dr. Tester address my concern, but he was sure to follow through with treatment and care for it as well. Highly recommended provider and group.

I can't say enough about how professional and responsive the staff and doctors are at Wilmington Health. I suddenly experienced severe back pain. Accommodations were made immediately to see my primary care physician, Dr. Tester, who not only explained and identified my issue, he made direct calls to two specialist, Atlantic Neuro/Spine and Dr. Hess, so that I could see them the very next day. Dr. Tester provided the guidance and confidence to resolve this matter to the point where my pain was alleviated within 48 hours. Bottom line is my experience with Wilmington Health and Dr. Tester is exceptional.

Dr Testor is the worst doctor I have ever seen. He believes it’s his way only. He doesn’t value any input from the patient. He also makes many mistakes on refills of maintenance meds. Do not see him. After a serious spike in my blood sugar (500) that left me confused and such he told his nurse to tell me to go home and sleep it off. Went to the ER and they were very concerned and got me back into a normal range with insulin and fluids. He lacks empathy and compassion. Dr Testor is the worst doctor I have ever seen. He was very relaxed and very concerned about my health present and going forward. Very complete and did not rush to get me out.

My doc left to work elsewhere and I got Tester. Our first visit he addressed our check up and I said I had a question about my sinuses. He told me he had other p patients and had already spent too much time in the room with me. I was floored. I had no idea what to say to that. I paid my copay just like everyone else. He's cold and has no personality. He did make sure I'm getting mammograms and regular check ups, but it was in the computer. I've been trying to get in with a different Wilmington health provider for over a year with no luck. I've seen him about 5 times and each encounter is so lacking in bedside manner it's a relief to get out of the room.

My sister trusted this man. She had pain in her right side under her ribs. She had lost a lot of weight. He put her through an immense amount of testing, even a needless hysterectomy. He prescribed Prozac for her immediate menopause symptoms, which landed her in a psychiatric ward for three days. Mean while the pain is still there and worsening. After 8 months with no diagnosis, he sends her to pain management and counseling. She switched drs. and one month later, she was diagnosed with stage iv pancreatic cancer. She was told that she had a time frame of 8-12 months left. She died last Friday, July 27 th. She told me that this doctor made her feel like she was going crazy. Please please go else where for a Dr. I am heartbroken that she had to endure all of this pain and feel like she wasn't taken seriously. She was 49 with so many unfinished plans. Went to the Wilmington Health walk in clinic this morning after experiencing chest pain and sweating last night and still some minor pain this morning.. A lab assistant came out to interview me (and couldn't even be bothered to take my blood pressure). Told her my symptoms and she said she would tell the doctor, a "Dr" Tester. She came back a couple minutes later and said, he told her to tell tell me to go the ER if the symptoms come back again. Told me some BS about even if they take my heart enzymes, the results. wouldn't come back till Monday. Asked if I could get an EKG and she said the doctor didn't want to do it. Yes it was at 11:30 am and the clinic shuts down at 12. I doubt there is any record of me even walking in to the clinic. Guess that Dr Tester had a lunch date or a football game he wanted to go to. When my Dr in the same office moved to another job, I inherited Dr. Tester. I thought he was a bit to quiet the first visit, but found that he spends more time listening than talking, which is fine with me. Is willing to converse on best path forward when something isn't instantly diagnosable. As with all things medical, the patient must be their own advocate; ask questions, consider options, and push for treatment or tests that you believe are necessary. Didn't really have an experience with Dr Tester. Here's why: Went to WH walk in clinic after experiencing chest pain and sweating last night. Told my symptoms to a lab assistant who said she would speak to Dr Tester. He refused to see me! Told her to tell me to go to the ER if symptoms come back. Dr. Tester starts the patient/doctor relationship off pretending to care about you but, eventually....by your 3rd appointment or so...he simply gives the minimum. He stops hearing his patient. One problem. Cough or flu? Let's not get carried away by treating the whole patient as their Internist, eh? The man will refer you to a dozen other specialists in the network and you'll feel like a gerbil on a wheel--and still not have answers. Just accept that money is King in our country and, ultimately, doctors are businessmen trying to maximize profit. We will have to treat ourselves homeopathically. Ask a pharmacist instead and save your co-payment and deductible. List ANY other doctor for your primary so this one hopefully won't get paid by the HMO. Open up Dr. Testers schedule. I waited 90 min to see Dr. He didn't apologize for the wait or acknowledge some questions I had. I came in with a bad cold & said that my sinuses, glands, & throat hurt a lot. He didn't look in my mouth, tap my sinuses or feel my glands. He gave me a cough med so I could sleep. The next morning, I called to ask for different cough med. since that one didn't help. Can't get through to his nurse' ext so you have to call for appts and ask them to transfer you. I left two calls-no response!

I have and will, recommend Dr. Tester to any and all my loved ones. I can say that he has restored my faith in doctors. I feel so blessed to have him as my doctor. His nurses, as well as the staff make any and all visits to the office as pleasant as a visit to the doctor can be.
