My anger and frustration is based on their OFFICE MANAGER who sent me to collections for $80 (2 “no show” fees) although disputed, with documentation. My credit score of 807 drastically dropped to 712 over two $40 fees including a letter terminating my patient right for treatment. All of this during a PANDEMIC! My mother-in-law continued seeing the dr. even after a botched procedure that left her in even more pain. He was very apologetic about the pain he caused and risk to damage that ensued, so she wanted to continue care. His office seems to be incompetent, caring more about office conversations than getting petty things like insurance coverage and patient needs met. Having someone standing waiting for service, in pain, seems like the opposite of what a pain management specialist would encourage. The last visit (one day ago) my m-i-l had to wait a week, after having taken a covid test, only to arrive at the office and be told that she would have to reschedule due to an insurance question. This should have been answered in advance. We will be looking for alternatives.

He cares about his patients. I really have had great luck with him .

I love Dr. Rask and it's too bad I haven't even got to see him in over four years. Iv'e been through a LOT there and haven't complained once...just keep quiet and wait your turn in line. We are all just getting ready to die... and suffer through all this crap so we can have a little more time with loved ones. But sometimes you just have to make some noise so there can be change...and I'm very fearful that speaking a negative comment will get me fired...but whatever. I have done nothing wrong except have 6 autoimmune diseases that eat me alive and cause more pain than you can imagine. I just want to be treated like a human. The other day I was at this clinic and my daughter who is very sick was told by the NURSE to take her clip board to the front and BRITTNEY opened the window and said HAVE A SEAT!! I WILL CALL YOU WHEN IT"S YOUR TURN! I'm shaking just thinking of how they treated my sick daughter. That is BU##SH**! I see SO many times that the front desk is extremely rude to people and Iv'e been treated rudely by BRITTNEY before...but when she did it to my kid? I wanted to slap her into next week. We are SICK! Can anyone have compassion and caring and try to put yourselves in our shoes for even 1 millisecond? Apparently not. I will NEVER go to BRITTNEY's window again...that is if I stay at the that clinic.

Dr Rask was my anesthesiologist for my surgery with Dr Pennington and Dr Stenger. I explained to him how I always was sick after surgery and caught pneumonia afterwards and he adjusted my medication perfectly. I was so appreciative of his listening to my concerns and right now am trying to acquire him for a new surgery. I have delt with S1 pain for 11years. The shots Dr. Rask does have brought my pain level down to a 3 at least. He is kind and funny and I have never been treated bad by him. Nancy Burgess in is office is AMAZING!! She has been wonderful and made me feel like a real person.

Dr Rask himself is friendly and caring. The problem is that he will only see you the first appointment. All other appointments are with different PA's each time. Very impersonal. The office staff is horrible. Communication between departments is nonexistent. Calls are not returned.

Absolutely above and beyond! Not only knowledge, but truly listens to the patient and asks busines to understand. The staff is also the best i've seen! Happy and very tentative.

He does not spend enough time with you, always seems rushed and does not know your history before he comes into the exam room to interview you. He made me feel like a patient with a number but no name. Got my first name wrong several times during the interview and exam. Lacks attention to detail, which I think is pretty critical for any Dr.

Dr very nice but didn't need any meds will recheck back in 3 mo to see if the bcd oil is still working.

I have been coming to the office for several years. The whole staff is wonderful and is always there to help you out.

It seemed very professional;but, may i mention time was quick and i had to bring up a few qauestions dental concerns and change in med i have been doing got missed, i have dropped gaberpenton from up to 5 a day to one and switched to Aleve one a day because of memory problems. i am surprized ivee not had mri ever? could something be misplaced in moves from philomath office to here? Otherwise all was professional as usual.

Dr. Rask actually looked into other options to meds needed to balance what I am currently taking.

i really respect his opinion and will always do what he says. this clinic makes me feel like im someone important.

front desk staff is very kind every time i come in. nancy is very nice and listens and always asks how im doing. great office.

The staff at Corvallis Pain Management treat patients poorly. The schedulers have been rude, condescending, and sarcastic in response to earnest questions. As the practice has grown it has become increasingly difficult to get quality care here. You really never know which PA or NP you might see at a given appointment. It is nearly impossible to see the only MD at this practice. BEWARE: this practice has grown rapidly due to a shortage of pain docs in the area, and they treat patients badly.

Unsafe practice. I had a spinal procedure done. Before the procedure, his office failed to send instructions for preparation. When I called the office with my concerns, I was given directions over the phone by Ashley which I wrote down. They did not seem complete, so I called the surgery center and spoke with RN. She stated that they were not correct and conflicted with patient safety. Was then denied follow up care at office after reported that non-medical personell had given unsafe advice.

Dr. Rask is consistently a joy, upbeat, evidences Control without Overbearing.. He understandably relies on his PAs for routine exams. This Very Good pt left because the PA/NPs who are brothers, behave differently and less well when they have a Scribe to perform for. No scribe, all well. Scribe...eye-rolling, talking down, treat pt like Stupid. Rask need prove nothing, but for PA's there is temptation to posture for an audience and having a coworker relative does nothing to dissuade Power.

Not real sure where some of the negative comments are coming from, I have had nothing but very positive interactions with the staff, in fact I found them happy, upbeat and very responsive. Dr. Rask is a very positive man and it 'felt better' just talking to him. The care I have received so far has been excellent and I would highly recommend this doctor, his follow up doctors and the wonderful staff!

He has an uncaring staff who do not follow through with getting the pain patches the insurance company will approve, then does not prescribe enough pain medicine for serious spinal pain and the Doctors staff seems unknowlegable in diagnosing your pain level from your exam and mri and ct scans. You are only see once by dr rask ONCE and then ALL Follow up up appts. are with his uncaring PA's You are not allowed to communicate with dr. Rask This is how they treated my son and then they fired him.

Dr. Task comes in the room with a very upbeat and positive attitude. He is very understanding and kind. He really wants to get to the bottom of your issue.
