I had two prior surgeries on my left shoulder, Dr. McCallum fixed the problem that another did not. Not all surgeons are created equal, and Dr. McCallum is among the finest without a doubt.

Dr. McCallum properly diagnosed my exact problem of a partially torn cartilage in my wrist. He gave me a cortisone shot in the correct place and within a week the wrist was doing much better. Both his diagnosis and treatment were exactly on point. I recommend him without reservation with respect to his expertise. Very capable Doctor. It did take a while to get an appointment is the only down side - but worth the wait.

He's very calm,collect,and laid back. That being said, he is also very professional and shows concern for the patient. He was confident in his ability to fix and repair my injury (Distal Bicep Rupture-[serious!] )and I liked that about him. I'm no surgeon. I am a skilled technician and I was impresssed with the way he handled the surgery in such a timely manner. And the scar he left is minimal and looks great. I can't see inside my arm but I'm sure his work is just as neat. An ortho-craftsman!

I've had 4 appointments with dr McCallum in the last 10 months. I've had to wait minimum of 35 minutes all 4 times to only see him for 5. The first time I saw him he diagnosed me with rotator cuff tendinitis and sent me to PT. Second time I saw him 6 months later because the pain had only increased he told me go back to PT without even giving me an evaluation. After getting a second opinion, turns out my scapula is glued to my thoracic wall and the first PT only made it worse because of the incorrect diagnosis. Very unsatisfied, would not recommend.

Diagnosis was precise, bedside manner both in office and hospital, made me feel like my case was important to him. Even though he was seeing several patients at the same time, each time he came back to me, I felt as though I was the only patient he was seeing. My spouse had the same reaction. When there was a stretch of months between appointments, I had the felt like I had seen him just the day before. The surgeries we have had returned our lives to ones free of pain.
