Dr. Patrick K Leung

Dr Leung is lovely and amazing! However, his office manager Victoria (who is also in charge of billing) is hateful, rude, and very unprofessional. She lied to me and was hateful to the kind lady at my insurance company who was trying to help me. I would never risk having to deal with her again. I expect human decency and kindness from anyone in the service industry (or anyone at all), but especially from someone dealing with patients who are suffering and in pain. The fact that she is the person in charge hurts my heart.

This was hands down the worst medical experience I’ve ever had. The complete lack of professionalism is concerning from a doctor and his staff who are supposed to be specialists for folks dealing with very serious issues. I was subjected to more than an hour of very invasive and painful testing with no warning or communication beforehand, no chance to ask for so much as a Tylenol, and no aftercare instructions for a procedure that left me without the ability to move my hands for over a week. I was charged a frankly insulting amount of money payable directly to the doctor, not the hospital, and to add insult to injury was told there is a VERY limited form of payment this office will even accept. They refused to answer any billing questions I had and office staff literally laughed at me over the phone. During a time when most aspects of healthcare are in a crisis, I expected more from healthcare professionals. Dr. Leung took care of my mom. He is very caring and took the time to listen to all of her concerns. She is feeling much better now. Thank you Dr. Leung!

I was so impressed with Dr Leung. He was very patient and listened to me. I was extremely impressed that I walked in and was immediately seen. Most Drs now triple book patients and have to wait sometimes HOURS to get in past your scheduled time. Health care has become very frustrating and some Drs obviously care more about the almighty dollar vs patient care. Thank you for putting patients first. I was so impressed with Dr Leung. He misdiagnosed my nervous tic for epilepsy. I missed a month of school in 5th grade, turned grey, and had to visit the ER. He put me on so much depakote that it could have killed me, according to the cincinnati children's hospital. I'm lucky I'm alive.

Saw Dr. Leung in 2013 for thoracic herniation, nerve compression and weakness in both legs and a neurogenic bladder, to name a few. I can’t understand why, but he quickly grew frustrated with me and was unbelievably rude while I was going through the toughest time in my life. His advice to me included “ignore it and it will go away” and reported these things as being caused by anxiety and depression and I’ll make a full recovery. I was 25. I’m now 33. I never made a full recovery. I have had to more incidents of a kind of paralysis and my spine is in much worse condition along with the rest of my body. He told me the diagnosis could take 6 months to a year, but all he did was backpedal and make the situation worse. Excellent care with professional , caring attitude. Has helped me immensely.

I had an appointment with Dr. Leung. We drove an hour to the appointment while in severe pain with 2 herniated discs to be denied services because of insurance reasons. I had spoken to the staff twice in the week leading up to the appointment and was never told I was unable to be seen or could not pay privately for services. If you can get past the office staff you might find a great neurologist. I don't know because I couldn't. Same issue as the other reviewer. Twice I interacted with a person who was unhelpful and seemed disinterested in my wife's pain. If you need a neurologist two things are probably true: 1. You've been to a few medical professionals to get there. 2. You're in a world of pain. Dr. Leung would be well served to survey those who encounter his office staff. Great Dr. Have been going to him for about 15 years. He is great.

Dr. Leung takes his time and listens to my health concerns. He is candid and helpful. He is also humble enough to acknowledge that I need to be sent to an MS center where they specialize in my condition. Thankfully, before I was referred to an MS center, he ordered all of the initial tests, bloodwork and medication to get me started in the right direction. Dr. Leung's staff has been friendly and efficient.

He treats my mother and has helped her Alot. I have nothing but respect for this man and my mother loves him to death!

Excellent in personable patient care. Dr. Leung takes his time and truly cares about the wellbeing of his patients. In addition, wait time is minimal as they do not overbook patients. The office staff is very friendly and helpful.

Dr. Leung has years of experience. He is through, listens well, explains everything well, efficient but you don’t feel rushed, and is kind and very personable. Highly recommend. Oh and all the office staff I have had contact with were kind, friendly, good at their jobs. When you enter they immediately look up and give you a smile ????

This Dr. Will fool you he initially appears kind you don't wait at all I will agree his office is very good at performance of emgs thinking from doing many his tech is kind. However he as the one review stated tell's you everything is going to be okay then when the nerve injuries progress he becomes more like a Dr jekyll Mr Hyde..he wants easy he doesn't want to go the extra mile.

After having a very painful nerve conduction test by another neurologist, I was very hesitant and scared to have another. My neurosurgeon recommended Dr. Leung and I am so glad he did! If I had gone to him for the first one, I would have had no fears about the second! Very patient with me(as I am not a dream patient) and very thorough and knowledgeable. His bedside manner was calming and pleasant. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a nerve conduction test.

Made my husband quit all his meds cold turkey, advised that his migraines would be gone after stopping. They did not, suffered bad withdrawals. Dr was unsympathetic and not at all helpful, did no tests of any kind, advised going to a pain clinic. Total waste of time.

Dr. Leung came to waiting room himself to take me to a room. He listened to my concerns, ordered the appropriate testing, and addressed other health issues I was having. He was courteous, conversational, and kind. I will happily refer anyone who needs it to him.

Dr. Leung performed 2 EMG's and stated that I would be completely healed by late spring early summer of a peripheral nerve injury. When that did not happen he stated that there was nothing more he could for me and said that he could not answer my questions relating to the healing process. Very disappointed that I was given false hope and false information. As a side note, his receptionist literally yelled at me for arriving 15 minutes before an appointment.

The best doctor.He listens to you . Never have to wait for him to see you.Would recommend him. I love this Dr.

Dr Leung has always listened and explained things without making me feel like he had other patients waiting. He very rarely made me wait in the waiting room to see him very long. His staff have also always been very nice.

I saw Dr. Leung for upper neck pain in February 16'. He was cautious and ran a diagnostic MRA/MRI which I believe was an adequate decision. My migraines have slowly gotten better on its own. I am glad that Dr. Leung took precautions in any case.

Waste of my and my family's year, did not run tests, evals, or send me to other specialists to get to bottom of my deficits and problems. Took over 6 months to prescribe something from the migraines and I've since been told they are BIG no no's for migraines as they cause withdrawal headaches. Also, only thing he had to say about memory loss was that I didn't have alzheimers or dementia. Big waste of over a year of my life.
