Patrick R Herrick

I think Herrick is a good doctor, but the office isn't run so well. Something always goes awry. For instance, yesterday, I sat in a room waiting for a nurse who didn't know she was supposed to attend to me until I finally went to the nurse's station and asked what was taking so long. Also, my prescriptions were supposed to be renewed, but over 24 hours later, my pharmacy says they don't have them.

Amazing doctor and great nurses! Office staff however leave a lot to be desired.

I've never been treated with such disrespect in my life!

I normally don't see Dr. Herrick but I couldn't get into my regular doctor so I scheduled with him. It was worst experience I have ever had with a Dr. He was extremely disrespectful and did not listen to what I was saying. I do NOT recommend Dr. Herrick!

This evening I had an appointment with Dr. Herrick. He is a new doctor that I chose to see for my medical needs because my previous doctor left this clinics location to practice somewhere else. My appointment was scheduled for 4 pm and I arrived 10 minutes early. I had to wait in the lobby 10 minutes past 4 pm, which is fine with me. I would consider myself fairly patient. After being brought into the clinic I was greeted by a nurse who took my vitals and asked me questions regarding my health. After seeing the nurse I waited in the clinic to see the doctor for some anxiety that I was going through. Once the doctor entered I began to ask him questions about my medical condition and I answered a few questions from him. I did not get to address everything that I wanted to address with Dr. Herrick concerning my anxiety that I was being seen for, because my mind went blank after he suggested that I keep myself from letting my children see me with my anxiety.. I was kinda upset when he said this because I don't even recall speaking to him about my boys (my children). I don't even know if this information is in my charts!. After this remark, the doctor seemed rushed. He advised some blood work to be done and he gave me a short form to fill out. After being given the form, the doctor left the room to give me time to fill it out. I quickly filled out this short form and I waited for maybe 20-30 minutes.. A nurse finally opens the door, and I am not sure what her position at the clinic is but she asked me, "why I was there"... I told her "I was simply filling out a form." She then told me she would take it and then told me EVERYONE left for the day!?!.. What?!!..Sure enough. As I walked out of the clinic room half of the lights were turned of in the building and I escorted myself out of the building without being able to speak to anyone at the checkout desk concerning a scheduled date to have my blood work done!... I don't really have words to describe how I felt..lol.. I was there hoping to get some answers concerning my anxiety, and I was completely left alone in the building with the closing nurse. Dr. Herrick is my GP and also sees my sons (3 mo & 3 years). He's very knowledable and I always feel like he listenings to and addresses my concerns. His nurses Amanda and Susan are great too!

I started seeing Dr. Herrick a few years ago when I was having infertility issues and other doctors in the area wouldn't help me find the root cause of my issues. He thoroughly listens, he follows-up, and follow through. About 6 months after seeing him, we conceived and he delivered our baby. He truly cares, listens, and if he doesn't know you can tell he does research in the evenings, as evidenced by the late night responses via health app messaging. He will also actually call you with your lab results and next steps. Couldn't recommend him more. Yes, he may be busy and not have a ton of time to spend with you in the room but he takes notes and follows up. Dr. Herrick has been our doctor for over 25 years. He and his nurses are the best. Dr. Herrick always listens to our concerns and we never feel rushed during our appointments.. My husband, Robert, recently passed away. Dr. Herrick worked so hard to help us through his cancer diagnosis. I can not recommend Dr. Herrick enough. He is such a compassionate and thorough doctor. Dr. Herrick is a great Doctor , very detail -oriented. My husband is his new patient . He is very pleased to be his patrient. He has a wonderful team of supporting nurses. The whole office staff are also very nice .

He is an incredible person beyond being a fantastic caring MD. My husband had stroke in the ER and he was on top of it within just a few hours... was there for me explaining everything and saw us everyday even though a weekend and not his weekend for to cover the office. He has all the medical education and on top of that common sense! He is patient and goes beyond duty. And yes sometimes it is a wait but that’s because he is so good and caring... good things are worth wait for!!

Very attentive to condition symptoms. Seemed like he actually cared how I was feeling and wanted to help resolve

Dr. Herrick explains any procedures/vaccinations that are needed. He even measured and weighed my little one when they were running behind one day. The wait time is longer, but he is thorough and his care for his patients is clear.

Office is a joke and staff are rude..

We are fortunate to have a doctor who is not only very knowledgeable and honest, but who cares a lot about both his work and his patients. When I was having pregnancy complications, he even called me on the weekend to check on things and give me test results.

We left our previous pediatrician due to discrimination. I had no idea just how awful that doctor was before coming to Dr. Herrick. Dr. Herrick is so very thorough and errs on the side of caution. He sees all of my children and is timely and attentive.

After a handful of years I should hit the Reviews button... I required an efficient, while attentive, GP. I was referred to Dr. Herrick by family-in-law when I moved here. Dr. Herrick is highly recommended! Not only is he incredibly intelligent, he is very compassionate and goes the extra mile for his patients. I myself am a physician but more importantly I am the daughter of one of his long-term patients. Dr. Herrick literally saved my mother’s life as she was recently diagnosed and treated for lung cancer. Because of his thoroughness and attention to her symptoms (which presented in quite an unusual way) he sent her for the chest x-ray that saved her life!

I have been a patient for 20 years with Dr Herrick. He is an excellent family doctor. For 7 years I had been trying to get finger pain (the level of pain where I would black out) diagnosed. He was the first doctor to do more than take and x-ray and say the results "negative." He tried many things and recommended me to the specialist who figured it out. He is also my wife's and daughter's doctor.

Great doc. Took good care of my father and mother for a very long time. My wife who is a nurse has great respect for Dr. Herrick.

Dr. Herrick was my childhood pediatrician and then a fantastic GP/Family Practice doctor as I grew into an adult. He delivered my second and third child. He is amazing. Top of his class and truly cares for his patients. Not sure if you can tell, but I hold him in the highest regard and adore him as far as physicians go. When we moved, I considered driving from nearly two hours away so he could continue to be in charge of my care just cause I couldn't believe I would ever find someone I could trust as much. Dr. Herrick is incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and dedicated to helping his patients. He was the first doctor out of several I'd seen whom was actually interested in helping me solve a condition that is difficult to diagnose - he says he loves solving puzzles! I am so grateful for his respect of my time and my wellbeing. He is great guy all around - he is kind, thorough, and super smart. Three attributes I truly appreciate in a doc!!

This is the best doctor that I have ever been treated by. Extremely nice, very knowledgeable, and as honorable as they come.

I feel very fortunate that Dr. Herrick has been my only primary care physician since about 1996. He has ALWAYS come through for me. Same thing is true for my wife. I regret that over the years, what with the continuing pressure from legislators, the public, insurance companies, the increasing costs of providing medical care, I understand why sometimes Dr. Herrick and his nurses seem under a performance pressure.
