My daughter had an appointment with him today. Very bad visit. I have been in the medical field for over 40 years and will NEVER refer him, and sorry I have in the past. Very dismissive, how dare him tell her there’s nothing wrong. Why would she be there? It’s a shame that someone who has been in practice as long as he has is so quick and insensitive to disregard valid patient concerns. Obviously, he has forgotten the medical oath. Maybe it’s time to retire.

I am elderly, late 70s have seen many doctors my lifetime but had never experienced such a dismissive doctor, arrogant, this was my follow up visit, spent probably a total of 3 mins with me, said your mri and ct were fine, no tumor nothing else I can do for you regarding your pain on your face. keep taking gabapentein,you didn't develop this because you don't go to church(I never mentioned anything about church before this visit) so all you can do is get a second opinion,because I will not give you something stronger for pain. his office staff needs a lot of help being professional. his med assistant never returns calls when mention to him, he said med assistant does not answer the phone. needless to say I will be taking his advice regarding getting second opinion

Horrible horrible… my grandmother has been having the same problem for 3 years and he just told her to do some exercises and she’ll be fine. Didn’t take the take took check her or anything. After she saw another doctor they found out she had an issue that needed surgery. How can you keep someone suffering for so long.

Patrick Gomez is awesome I highly recommend him! My son needed surgery on his mouth he made this process go so easy and super fast! He motivated my little one and made him feel like a champ after! God bless doctors like him! Thank you Patrick Gomez!

I waited two hours before being told that they had forgotten about me. Best part was being told Dr. Gomez had already left for the day. Note, I arrived 5 minutes before my appointment and even physically waited an hour BEFORE Dr. Gomez left before my eyes. As someone who works for an extremely busy Ophthalmologist in El Paso, I am dumbfounded at how unprofessional and unorganized this practice is. I have never been through a day of work where a Patient was forgotten about on the list. Mistakes happen and appointments can be lengthy some times but I have never in my life had a practice legitimately tell me that they forgot about me. The supervisor could not apologize enough for how embarrassed she was and that she would resolve the issue with her staff and the doctor. She did offer a reconciliation appointment for whenever but I kindly declined as these kinds of mistakes are very indicative of the services you will receive. My 70 year old mother saw this doctor for results on an ear infection/biopsy. When she returned for the results the doctor was rude, my elderly mother felt intimidated and very uncomfortable. She says he was very dismissive and never explained what the results of the biopsy was. Shame on you for treating the elderly this way!

Horrible experience. Over two hours after my appt time before I even got a room. Dr didn’t listen to anything I was saying. I have been dealing with ear problems for over 4 months. I took my mom to an appointment, she was experiencing vertigo. When Dr Gomez arrived to the room, he asked my mom about the symptoms. She said she was experiencing a lot of pain because she has arthritis. I know this is not related to the vertigo, but the comment that Dr. Gomez made was not even related or appropriate “of course you have pain, you are old” . I took my son to see this doctor for a chronic ear infection. He was really good with him, really gentle, and you can tell he likes kids. I felt very safe having my son's medical treatment in his hands. Today so many doctors just prescribe tests and more tests and I felt like he really cared and listened to us and when we went back for follow-up checkups he remembered us and remembered that my son plays little league even though who knows how many patients he has. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

Fantastic doctor. I can't speak highly enough about the experience I had receiving treatment with him. He was thorough, knowledgeable, professional, and very kind. I had a painful cyst in my neck and was naturally pretty worried, and he walked me through all the treatment options and listened to my concerns. Surgery was great, he's very skilled and I've had no problems since. Highly recommend this doctor.

Explained everything well and was quick. Surgery for my tonsils went smoothly as well.

NEGATIVE 5 STARS!!! HORRIBLE DOCTOR'S OFFICE!!! I really mean it, if I could give this place a negative 5 star review, I would. Keep reading for a fun recap of my visit this morning... I never write reviews since most of my experiences are good and even when they are not it's usually not all that big of a deal or worth wasting my time to write a review. However, this place deserves this review. All of the 1 star reviews on here are 100% accurate. I confirmed my 9:40 AM appointment a week before and again the day before the appointment date. I arrived more than 20 minutes early for paperwork. After waiting for a little over 1 hour after my scheduled appointment time I asked if they could give me an idea of how much longer it would be. I was told only 5 people in front of me but they didn't have any available rooms and that is why there is a delay. Well, 1 more hour after that I still had not been called back. So I have now been waiting for more than 2 hours and I told the woman running the front desk (who was very nice) that I needed a refund for my co-pay because just like the doctors there I have a job and can't sit around all day waiting to never be seen. All of the sudden right at the moment I asked for a refund they just happen to have room available for me to go sit in to most likely just sit in and wait more. How convenient. I told them no thank you and that I had already waited long enough and had to get back to work and I was promptly given a refund. I do have to say the front desk staff was very nice and helpful and didn't argue or give me any attitude when I asked for a refund and based on how quickly and quietly the refund was processed it was quote clear to me that I am not the first person to request one. I came to this office through a referral from WellMed on Lee Trevino who were great and had almost no wait time, so foolishly expected this place to be run similarly. Aside from the front desk staff, El Paso Ear Nose and Throat Clinic doesn't appear to be good for anything except waiting. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at any kind of doctor's office. I would never, ever recommend this place...even to someone I don't like. If you have a job or something to do on the day of your appointment, either take the day off or cancel your appointment because you will be there waiting for a very, very long time. Terrible place to try and see a doctor, no communication drove out of town just to find out they don’t take my insurance after saying they did on the phone and the appointment was already scheduled makes no since and they check my Insurance card Terrible lmao!

They should tell people what to bring with them for their appointment instead of letting us get there only to turn us away. I should have known this was going to be a horrible experience. I was signing in and the two ladies in the front kept gossiping instead of at least greeting me or asking me my name.

They never answered always leaving messages its the staff n front desk who need to do there job so un professional. I honestly thought he was a good doctor the 1st visit. I recently went for my follow up appointment and found him to be the most horrific doctor. He currently has a Texas Tech Student doing clinicals in his office. I personally don't mind having students around, they have to learn too! Well, after Dr. checked my ears, nose and throat and said everything looked fine, he continued to say "YOU KNOW YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL, BUT YOU WOULD ATTRACT MEN IF YOU WERE TO DROP ALL YOUR WEIGHT". Then he has his staff set an appointment with a Bariatric Surgeon. I politely said "WITH ALL DUE RESPECT SIR, MY INSURANCE AND I PAY YOU TO CHECK MY EARS, NOSE AND THROAT, NOT MY PHYSIQUE, AND IF YOU FEEL THE ONLY THING ATTRACTIVE ABOUT A WOMAN IS HER BODY YOU SIR ARE A VERY SHALLOW MAN". He then turned to his student and said "SEE I'M A GOOD GUY, I DON'T JUST CARE ABOUT WHAT MY PATIENTS COME TO ME FOR, I CARE ABOUT THEY'RE ALL AROUND HEALTH". DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! I have a horrible experience. if i could give negative starts i would! the staff is amazingly rude and distracted to not be disrespectful! I went on april 02 2019 and i asked for my prescription to be printed out and they told me to wait, i waited 45 minutes and they told me it wasnt gonna be ready that day so i said ok i will be back the following day. So i went today and they told me that the doctor was not there so i had to go to their other location in order to get my prescription me being in pain didnt care to drive 40 minutes if that meant me getting my prescription so i went and when i got there they made me wait 2 hours for them to tell me that the doctor was still no where to be seen and so they told me that they were gonna fax it to the nearest location to me and they said that they were gonna call me once it was ready but 40 min before they closed I called them and they told me i was gonna have to go again the following day but do to my high pain i can not wait so i called them approximately 15 times and kept asking to talk to a supervisor and they wouldn’t let me so finally i did talk to a supervisor and they told me that my prescription was ready and when i picked it up i asked to cancel my next appointment because after all that horrible experience i dont wanna go back there ever DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! Great team of Doctors, place is extremely clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Appointments are necessary since they are in high demand. Expect to wait a little past your appointment time since Dr. Gomez won't rush the consultation, he's thoroughly and caring, would listen and address your concerns with a goal towards resolving your needs. Horrible man! He is rude and doesn’t like when you ask questions! After being rude he says God bless you as if that excuses his rudeness. Wouldn’t recommend him for anybody.

Dr. Gomez is very impatient with children. He would prefer to charge you thouseand for an OR visit and put your child under anesthesia for a routine procedure that a skilled ENT can do in their office. Do not take your child to see him.

As soon as he walked in and saw my mother he said the same thing-it’s “old age” without asking a question or examining her. My mother stood up slowly because she has problems with her knees; his comment was “she is too heavy”. It was so insensitive. We are not going back! Sorry excuse for a doctor! He forgets one day he’ll be old too. I have several doctors in my family and they would never treat anybody in that manner.

This guy diagnosed my mom with “old age.” Instead of spending the time to try and find a diagnosis he instead provides an incentive response to the issues she is having and he goes about his day. He should of provided an alternative specialist to go see. He’s a horrible excuse for a physician.

While this is not my own review, my grandmother recently came to this clinic with Dr. Gomez. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS. As a healthcare professional myself I am absolutely disgusted with how humiliating and rude he was to my grandmother. She went in for a consultation to try and get some hearing aids she needed. Long story short, Patrick Gomez ended up telling her that the insurance is only for the poor and that she shouldn’t have it. He also told her that her insurance wouldn’t cover her hearing device (which I checked and it does-she now has them fully covered). He then told her to “go with God” and that there was nothing he could do for her while rushing her out of his office. If you are looking for a doctor, this is not the place. I cannot believe he calls himself a doctor. He clearly does not remember the hippocratic oath he took as a doctor, because this is NOT how a doctor should address an elderly lady’s (nor anyone’s) concerns. No one should be treated this way. She ended up finding an actual doctor who cared and got her hearing aids, no thanks to Patrick Gomez. Like I said, if you don’t want to feel worthless do not visit this office. Had a surgery, called offices 5 for info and no knows what done to me. They refused to ask my doctor.

Allergy clinic is really bad. Their schedule changes any way they want. Nobody ever notifies patients about it. Office manager don't even want to talk to the patients. Probably affraid what they will tell him.

Over two hours waiting. Not until we go ask THEN they tell us the system is down. As a courtesy let your patients in the waiting area know so that they can decide if they need to reschedule due to work. Never going here again. Got there early & still waited an hour past my appt time. I asked for my referral back & was given some paper. I got a call on my way home & was told that I hadn't even been given the right paper back. They still had my referral. Absolutely the worst doctors office I've seen in a long time.

The wait time is ridiculous! I was scheduled at 9:00 a.m. and I wasn’t seen until 11:45. The staff are rnot nice and not very helpful. Their customer service is not good at all.

This office double books and is ALWAYS LATE. Expect VERY LONG WAIT TIMES. My first appointment was at 9am, I didnt get seen until 10:45am. My surgery was scheduled at 9 am, I didnt see the doctor until 11am, then he had left for lunch before I woke up, he did speak with my husband for 2 minutes before he left. Then, I called and confirmed my appointment was at 9am, showed up 10 minutes early and still not seen at 930am. HE IS A NICE GUY, BUT NOT WORTH THE HASSEL.

Excellent Service. The staff is very helpful and attentive.
