Dr.Cross has no bedside manor. He has the compassion of a squirrel or someone with no parents Does the truth hurt, Yes but does it havet to "No". It all depends on the delivery. There is always a kind compassionate way to convey to a relative-when their love one is critically ill. Dr.Patrick Cross. Has the absolute worst bedside manor I have ever experienced. My prayer is that he learns to have compassion for the families & love ones of those who are in despair with a love one who is critical. I was told while standing in the waiting room upon our initial introduction I was asking about my moms alternatives & what I could do for her when he abruptly responds “ I could take her home to die or put her in hospice “. Once I picked my mouth up off the floor I immediately tried to find my mom A physician who cared because Dr.Cross DID NOT. I had never met Dr.Cross a day in my life & that was his way of sharing my moms critical condition. Not have a seat let’s talk, or more appropriately “Step into my office,” or any thing of the sort. Once my moms 28 day journey was done I wrote 3 letters immediately commending all the staff that helped my family throughout our ordeal with compassion with my sincere appreciation because I was taught that if you can’t say something nice than don’t say anything at all. However now years later I still feel compelled to finally say how Dr.Cross made my moms passing the most devastating unexpected ordeal of my life, when just some compassion could have stopped the pain my family went through. my dad has been under Dr cross's care for several years now, the staff is always kind, thoughtful and professional. the Dr is very kind and patient in explaining to my dad ( who is 87) updates on his continuing care.
Knowledgeable about my condition, friendly, great staff.
