Dr. Connor has a very efficient team that helped me understand my options. The doctor and PA assessed the condition of my shoulder and provided a lot of clear information on how to correct the problem. Dr. Connor is a top surgeon, and he discouraged me from getting surgery on my shoulder at this time. He obviously cares about each patient, and does what is best for them! Very personable man!

After being diagnosed with a torn rotator cuff, my physician recommended, if at all possible, to get in with Dr. Connor at OrthoCarolina as he's one of the best in this specialty surgery in the SouthEast. I was lucky enough to get in. I never felt rushed when I met with Dr. Connor and he also has a wonderful bedside manner. It's a tough, tough and painful recovery, which Dr. Connor was honest about, but I'm glad I went to the bext!

After waiting a month for an appointment, I went in to see Dr. O’Connor on 9/17/21 and I was running late due to an unexpected traffic problem. I arrived and signed in. They told me to sit and wait so I did the online check in. A nice young lady called me up to the counter and got some more details. She explained that they were running late anyway and that I would still be OK. She put the strip on the schedule sheet and gave it to another lady. At this point, this officious woman walked up, pointed to my strip and said “NO!” and stomped away with no other comment or even looking me in the eye. The young woman at the counter looked speechless and then walked over and told me I would have to be rescheduled. Not his fault, just an officious office employee who only cared about policy compliance, not care for the patient. Never asked how much pain I had They were already running late and so I would have been sitting there anyway if I had been 3 minutes earlier or even 30 minutes earlier.

I have a very high regard for Dr. Connor. The first time I met him he took his time to explain what was involved with my case, the end result, and we talked about the +/-'s of what I could expect. My most recent visit was the same, and his advice is greatly appreciated. If I have any further problems Dr, Connor will be the first person I will contact. I was happy with the care and treatment I received at OrthoCarolina. Dr. Conner and his PA Jeremy were friendly, knowledgeable and willing to start with the conservative treatment options I was seeking. The entire staff was professional and made me feel like a valued patient. The only negative I can recall was the parking garage at the sports medicine center. It needs better instructions on how to get to the front door (which is in the back of the building). I went to the side door first, which was locked. Dr Conner replaced my right shoulder in 2008. The results were terrific. Came time for my left shoulder I went back to him. My PT was very impressed with my lack of pain and I progressed right on schedule. Yesterday was my final visit and Dr Connor and I were both very pleased with my results.

Very informative

Dr. Connor has performed 3 surgeries on me in the past 7 years (both left and right torn rotator cuffs and separately a torn bicep tendon). I couldn’t be more pleased with the results and relative lack of pain experienced from each of the 3 surgeries. He’s the best!

Dr Connor is a compassionate and erudite physician who truly cares about his patients. I am a nurse and a professional patient advocate, so my standards are pretty high. Dr Connor has exceeded all of my expectations. I would highly recommend his humanistic and surgical skills. It is an honor to write this review for him.

Dr Connor is an amazing Physician! He processes the bed side matters you are looking for! He is very easy to talk with and he is willing to answer any questions one might have which to me is what I was looking for. His staff was very accommodating and was never to busy to talk with me. His expertise is outstanding! My reverse shoulder replacement has given me the pain free service I wanted. I have regained my range of motion much sooner than I expected. Had surgery for frozen shoulder. Had 7days of opioid meds and refused to even consider more even with weeks of PT to come. Never told us of this limit prior to surgery. Told us to go to family doctor for further meds. Don’t trust this guy. Never saw doctor before surgery. PA only.

Dr Pat Connor recently operated on my daughters acl for her right leg. She injured it in her first game at Guilford College Women's Soccer Game . McKaley felt the dreaded pop and Dr Connor was quick to review the mri. Dr Connor had operated on her twice before for acl in the left leg and meniscus tears on her right. This time it was acl on her right plus meniscus tears in the front and back. One of the hopeful ideas you hold onto during this time is that your surgeon can restore you back to 100% playing abilities and as expected the surgery went well and we are starting rehab. When you have the kind of confidence my daughter has with Dr Connor, the prospect of regaining her collegiate form is much more certain. My visit with Doctor Connor. Was for a second opinion. Very pleased to say. Dr. O'Connor and his colleague took the time to look into my medical problem. The doctor explained my problem to me in layman's terms the best that he could. He advised me to do some research on a technique that could be used to help me. I took the doctor's advice and I did. I emailed him later that afternoon within one hour the doctor got back with me. I can honestly say I was treated in that office by all staff and doctor as a human being. I was sent to Dr. Connor with a rare glenoid fracture. He saw me within 24 house of being consulted and operated on me within 48 hours. His team set up physical therapy in my town about an hour outside of Charlotte. He and his staff treated me as if I were there only patient. I never felt rushed even though I was an add onto his busy schedule. I had a complete recovery from a fracture that I was told would restrict my lifestyle. He and his team are amazing.

I just had my rotator cuff patched my bicep repaired and a bone spur removed...everyone at the practice nurses doctors pa's ect all did a fantastic job I've had minimal if any pain whatsoever... This is my second surgery opposite shoulder fantastic results both times... I am a dentist and the use of my hands and arms are my livelihood I thoroughly trust everyone there...Thank you for excellent care..

Dr. Connor and his staff have been great to work with. We just moved here from out of state and Dr. Connor was highly recommended by friend and I can see why. The office was the nicest office I have ever been to. Every staff member I came in contact with was extremely nice. The entire office was great with running on time and informing me of what was to happen next. 10/10 times I would recommend him. I have some follow up things to do and then will be checking back in with him. I feel completely confident that he and I together will make the best personalized plan for ME moving forward.
