Dr. Clancy and his staff accommodated me with a short notice appointment. Furthermore, they followed up with me throughout the day to confirm my appointment. Check in with the staff was professional and quick. Dr. Clancy was knowledgeable and explained things in layman terms so that I could easily understand.

Timely on appointment, took info easily, Dr was gracious as was the entire staff. And exam results were very clearly communicated.

Horrible wish I had never allow this man do my surgery. Nothing but problems after problems. He is sarcastic has no compassion. I made a big mistake. I gave him 1 star because is the lowest I could give. I don’t believe that all these high ratings are real. Impossible!

The reception was excellent. Dr. Clancy and his staff were thorough in my examination.

Dr Clancy was knowledgeable and attentive. As a new patient, he took time to understand my concerns and answered all my questions. He completely understood some unusual issues that I have. I am very pleased.

Recently on a routine exam at Dr clancy's office, I mention I had experienced two episodes of a temporary blind spot in my right eye about six months apart. He said I had a mini stroke and recommended I see my GP ASAP and if it happened again go to the emergency room. Before my GP could schedule a test, it did happen. I had a blockage in my carotid artery and had emergency surgery. According the surgeon if not for Dr Clancy I could have had a full stroke died. I am thankful to Dr. Clancy.

I called Dr. Clancy with an emergency at 8:00 pm on a Friday night. He told me to meet him at his office at 9 pm and he would take a look. Unbelievable service. So knowledgeable and very kind. Highly recommend!

Dr. Clancy saved my life. I thought I had an eye infection but he diagnosed a serious sinus infection. On a regular basis I find Dr. Clancy to be highly professional in a friendly manner. I rarely wait for my appointment . The exam is complete and well explained.

Dr. Clancy has provided my care for many years. This includes cataract surgery which succeeded very well, with no distress or other difficulties to this day. I have full confidence that he will provide the best aid as I continue to grow older. He invites and gladly answers any questions that I may have. He does not at all push for anything not required. The entire office personnel is pleasant, considerate, and efficient. All together they make my visits actually enjoyable.

Dr. Clancy is a wonderful physician. He is so thorough and knowledgable that I would not hesitate recommending him to anyone. He has taken care of my family for years. He is professional caring and thorough. He takes time with his patients to truly listen to what they have to say. A five star rating is befitting for Dr. Clancy

Terrible, unfriendly, and rude office staff. No complains against Dr. Clancy

Dreadful experience-- visit for new eyeglass script and new contact script. Told to return for separate contacts exam-- for addt'l $125. Wanted green contacts-no sample available--fitted me with clear contacts to check script effectiveness I offered to try any color for fitting purposes--told NO--must return upon receipt of green lenses in 2 days-- sample didn't arrive--said Send me Script--will go elsewhere-Told script can only be for clear lenses which I don't want. UNACCOMODATING/DICTATORIA

My wife got an eye lash stuck deep under her eyelid and Dr. Clancy was able to see her right away. I am very thankful that his office was able to fit her in on a busy Friday. He was very pleasant to deal with and was very patient with answering our questions. We are long time patients that have followed him to the new office in Wyckoff and have always had great experiences with both the doctor and his staff.

I have been seeing Dr. Clancy for many, many years and have had appointments in several of his offices. He always takes time to listen to and my answer questions, and does not rush through exams. His staff has always been pleasant.

AWFUL! Dr. Clancy took my insurance and copay for a COVERED appointment. His office did not try to submit to my insurance co, Horizon BCBS, until almost 2 YEARS after my visit. Horizon BCBS, denied paying him because he submitted TOO Late. He sent ME to a collection agency for this visit, THAT WAS COVERED, he just DID'NT Submit in a timely manner! Jody, the office manager, said she wouldn't take me out of collection unless I gave her a check! I contacted NJ Better Business Bureau.

Great Dr! Very friendly and kind, spends a lot of time with you and explains EVERYTHING! Staff is very courteous an friendly. Moving to Florida and will miss them very much.

I am a 68 year old Vietnam veteran who's vision suddenly became extremely blurry. I could barely see. Dr. Clancy told me that I had cateracts in both eyes. He explained in great detail what that meant, and how to correct my vision. Two surgeries were scheduled, one for each eye.The results were amazing! I have 20/20 vision in both eyes, and I now see the world in vibrant colors and light! He is an incredible surgeon. My daughter is now a patient also.

I highly recommend Dr. Clancy. My four year old son is his patient. It's not easy to give a four year old an eye exam. Dr. Clancy and his staff were so thoughtful and caring about the process. Dr. Clancy was very thorough and took time to explain the diagnosis. He answered all of my questions. He also explained the long term plan to addressmy sons eye care needs. He made me feel so at ease and that as a team, doctor and parent, we could handle any issues. And we did! I am so grateful!

I have been a patient of Dr Clancy's for 25 years. During that time I had several significant eye problems including one which threatened the sight in one of my eyes. His manner in getting me through that time made me feel like I was his most important patient. When one of my children had a problem, he quickly identified and resolved the it. My entire family goes to him for regular checkups. He is a true professional. The office staff is excellent. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

The Doctor was good and the staff is very nice. The reason for 2 stars is the billing department which harassed me with 7 or 8 erroneous bills. My insurance information was given but someone didn't correctly file it which led to multiple letters stating I Owed $295.00 when all I owed was a co-pay of $20. Which I would have paid the same day.
