When i had my consult i expressed the urgency of getting my surgery done, Dr. Chen said this was no problem and they would submit to insurance but also give me a quote if i had to pay out of pocket so i can schedule my surgery date that week.. fast forward to several weeks later i got a call saying they wont be doing surgeries with insurance because of covid but if i paid out of pocket then i could get it done.. sounds very weird but i said okay i was willing to cash pay but i still didn't receive the quote..I've called several times asking for my quote and was always told i'd get a call back and i never did. So i don't know if his staff relayed the messages but now it resulted in a negative review. Great doctor, made me feel comfortable. Assisted me throughout the entire procedure. His offices are clean and nice, great staff.

Fantastic. Dr Chen removed an implant from cancer surgery. Implant was to large and had worked back under my arm. His utmost concern was my comfort. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Chen. I have been trying to have this implant removed but could not find a doctor to do the surgery.

Carpal tunnel was done and more pain than I was in originally. Then had to have another operation to repair trigger finger syndrome on two fingers. I am not pleased

Dr Chen saw me on a emergency request from my dermatologist after having skin cancer removed. He rushed from JPS to see me after surgery and was very thorough and explained everything that was going to take place and what some options were. he showed me photos and the stages and answered ALL of my questions before running to another surgery. My surgery was scheduled for two days later and he did an amazing job!! Stitches are out today and my face already looks. Great! This man is awesome!

Dr Chen performed reconstruction surgery after I underwent a double mastectomy due to breast cancer. He did an outstanding job, and I am really happy with the results. Dr. Chen is a perfectionist and his staff is excellent. They are always on time, which is so appreciated, and they take the time to explain everything. Highly recommend.

Dr. Chen and his staff are wonderful! I just had a mid face lift and I love it! I'll use him again and again. Next stop - botox!

My son broke slammed his hand in a door he was bleeding. I had to rush him to the ER. Of course it was. He broke two bones in his finger and the nail was coming off. My experience in the ER was sub par but I understand. They gave me a doctors phone number and sent me on my way. I called doctor Chen's office the following morning and the woman that answer was so friendly and I told her how upset and stressed out I was and how I wanted to see some one as soon as possible. She listened and worked with my schedule she was able to get my son in the same day. When I got to the office they were very kind and it was very clean. I had no idea doctor chen was a plastic surgeon but it was a pleasant surprise to find out he specialized in hand surgery. He looked at my sons X-rays explained that he would need therapy and a better splint. Cleaned up the job the ER did and sent us on our way within 30 mins of getting to their office. My son slammed his hand in a door and had two broken bones and a fingernail falling off. After going to the ER and having a very long night they referred me to follow up with doctor chen. I called the next day and The staff was great and able to fit me in the same day. Doctor Chen was great with my son. My son is normally very impatient at the doctors office but he liked doctor Chen. I didn't realize he was a plastic surgeon till I left the office. He specializes in hand surgery.

I was referred to Dr. Chen by my Bariatric doctor after losing 157 lbs. I had regained my health and now needed full body reconstruction. With Dr. Chen's guidance, this was a great experience. Three successful surgeries included belly and arms, buttocks, thighs and breasts. From the first meeting, Dr. Chen & his staff made me feel confident that this was the right decision for me. I love my new look and highly recommend visiting his office for answers to your questions & pursuing your new look.

I was referred to Dr. Chen as 1 of 2 possible choices for breast reconstruction. Dr. Chen and his staff created a great environment for any questions, concerns, and was very personable. You can tell that he knows what he is doing and he loves it. He uses the most up to date procedures and for me that was crucial as not all who have done this for as long as he has is interested in staying up to date. I never waited to see him and he always gave it to me straight when I was a bit stubborn.
