I absolutely love this doctor! She is let’s you address your concerns and listens. She is awesome! If she was closer I would love for her to be my primary doctor.

Dr. Sammarelli has no sense of care for her patients, and she is quite pushy with her insufficient (and sometimes incorrect) hunches. After an allergic reaction, she prescribed some medication to me. My symptoms worsened and I broke out in severe hives; upon visiting her, she was unsure what exactly was going on, but mentioned in passing that it may have been an allergic reaction to something. Then, she concluded by telling me if it got worse, to contact 911 directly instead of waiting for her. Note that every time I saw the doctor, I was charged a co-pay, because this is how insurance works. So every follow-up to check on my initial allergic reaction (and subsequent allergic reaction to medication) was ultimately useless to me AND costly. Overall, I had a terrible experience here and ultimately ended up in the ER. If you're on the fence about becoming a patient for this clinic or this doctor-- please learn from my experience and walk away.

Do not waste your time & money. Absolutely NO follow up! I knew more about the lab test than her nurse, and I only read about the test for a half hour previous to calling for results. Dr. Sammarelli was to call me, havent heard from her yet. She has not sent results to any of the request I have asked for. An disgrace of a doctor. Rediculous. I'm being gerenous rating her 1 star.

She did not seem to follow notes from previous appointments and conflicted her recommendations for me. She would not listen to any health concerns that were a major concern for me, and only wanted to focus on one issue. After visiting with a specialist, I found that she specifically overlooked some very important issues with my health.

Dr. Sammarelli is the most conscientious and fabulous doctor! BCS is lucky to have her back! I wish I could go see her again, however, CHI St Joseph doesn't accept my BC/BS HMO plan. You will be so lucky to have her for a doctor, she never misses a diagnosis and is very thorough doc. Welcome Back!! She cares about her patients!! Thank you for all you have done for me in the past ! Maybe The insurance requirements will change and I will be fortunate to see you again!
