My husband and I have trusted Dr. Merwick with our health for 15 years. She has always thoroughly explained our test results as well as given us the risk/benefits of any treatment we may require. I highly recommend her.

If you're seeking good care, find someone else. I requested a bone density test and Merwick told me I was "too young." When she finally allowed the test, she never called with results, so I got the results myself and took them to another doctor. I had osteopenia in all test areas (forearm, spine, hip) and now, at 57, I have severe osteoporosis in my spine, and am "at high risk for spinal fracture." Thanks for nothing, Merwick. You should not be practicing medicine. Patients, skip this hack.

Dr. Merwick listens carefully and patiently and responds in a way that shows she understands her patients well. She is able to care well for them taking into consideration what their personal needs are and what they can/can't do.
