Dr. Patricia L Andrade

I was referred because my mother in her 20s and maternal grandmother in her 60s had breast cancer. She asked if my mom had surgery, I said no. She seemed like she didn’t believe me said “well that story doesn’t add up” kept saying “if your mom had breast cancer….” seemed like she didn’t believe me because “back in the 60s and 70s anyone that had chemotherapy had surgery”. I am 34 and just want to get a mammogram and stay on top of it. I started crying in the office and really cried after the visit. Also I stood up to shake her hand and said “I don’t shake hands anymore” then gave me a fist bump.

Could not agree more with all the bad reviews, Echoed exactly how I felt. Maybe she can learn something by reading all her bad reviews. She really seems like she enjoys stoking fear, maybe she should reconsider another profession.

Dr. Andrade is warm and caring. She explains everything thoroughly and I never feel rushed.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Andrade for many, many years now and she is very knowledgeable, experienced, and just an awesome human being. She has a way of making you feel comfortable and is extremely good at explaining everything that is going on. I would certainly recommend her to anyone needing her services.

Most caring and professional.

Everyone was nice. Operation went very well and hardly feel any pain at all.

I’m very impressed with Dr. Andrade , I feel she can help me with this persistent problem I’ve been having and I feel she’ll have a solution for what’s been ailing me .

Terrible! I would not go to her again! During my appointment, Dr.Andrade was insensitive in explaining my skin condition under my arm. She repeated that there was no cure and that I had to live with this skin condition. I didn't want to hear such a piece of disturbing news in the manner that she expressed herself. But nevertheless, I smiled and went on my merry way knowing that there is a great physician other than herself that has the last say. God is in the business of healing the incurable. I will firmly stay positive and will apply my faith in the medication and advice that Dr.Andrade gave to me during my visit with her today. In addition, I will have her name on my prayer list.

I wanted to provide a recent review for all of you maybe trying to decide what doctor to pick. Nothing hs changed from the other reviews. Dr Andrade is at St Anne’s breast center in Fall River. She is not someone you want for this type of speciality. She called me the wrong name on my follow up appointment for my biopsy results. Then left the room after already being late. I can get over that. Came back in sometime later and asked why I was there. Proceeded to ask all of my family history again. Then asked me if I’ve ever had breast cancer or did anyone in my family have it. Finally after about an hour of sitting waiting to hear it was not cancer she also proceeded to tell me I needed surgery. When I asked my other options she told me to google it because google will say the same I need surgery! Then told me when I asked for my results that she had never given anyone her pathology report. I needed to go on and she couldn’t remember the medical group she is part of! Her office staff is just as rude and not caring. Working in a speciality field such as this you deserve better care then this doctor is able to give. Go somewhere else and save your worry for what you will need it for. Your health! Dr. Andrade is very thorough and takes the time to explain everything in simple terms . I have seen her several times and each time I have had a positive experience

Rude, condescending, seems “un interested” barely explains proper treatment options or other ways to fix issues. Almost seemed like she hates her job

This woman may have the training to be a doctor but she needs to rethink her career choice. She was dismissive and RUDE! I decided to go to another surgeon at a completely different hospital because of how callous and caustic this woman proved to be. She tried to tell me that the way I was taking ibuprofen was "totally inappropriate". Oook...I'm not your student or child. I know how to take this medication. Please. Then she just wouldn't stop with how inappropriate i was. I don't think she knows how to speak to someone without looking down on them from her high horse. I get that she was trying to impress upon me the importance of not taking too much, but she chose her words very poorly. Ok. Moved on to how my nausea is overwhelming at times. Could she give me some zofram? That's just going to mask the symptoms, so no. Huh? Is this a dangerous medication, is that why you don't want to give it? No. It is just going to mask the nausea. Really?! Great! Someone please tell her to leave.

She didn’t even say hello to the patient before surgery the fat cow

So rude, made me cry telling me i was dumb & didnt know what i was talking about. I didnt refer myself to her, the doctors did. She is the worst.

I did not have a good experience with Dr. Andrade, she is abrupt when answering pt's questions, she didn't remember me at my follow up appointment after surgery, not to mention the multiple complications that followed that were finally handled by another Dr. worst experience ever

NOT reccomended! Dr. Andrade is borderline rude! Her office staff is very pleasant in making the appt. and when you check in but once inside the room she is VERY abupt and comes across as non-caring!!

She has absolutely no compassion or bedside manner. I find her very abrupt. For a Dr that deals with breast cancer she as a woman should have more compassion with her patients.
