I had the privilege of shadowing Dr. Parish in an orofacial pain and oral medicine clinic, as well as consulting him for cases my own office has had difficulty with. I am truly in awe of him not only for his vast and seemingly endless wealth of knowledge, but also for his humility and kindness. Dr. Parish is not only an expert in his field (invaluable to said field in my opinion), but seeing him tackle these seemingly impossible cases with ease and an incredibly personable and caring demeanor solidified how outstanding he is. The clinic was centered around cases that general and specialist practitioners were unable to treat. Some days were filled with Dr. Parish having to deliver not so desirable news after a long day of procedures, but the way that he relayed information, showed genuine concern and sympathy, and took his time to answer questions instead of rushing to go home showed that he really loves what he does. He spoke to his patients in a way that they not only understood but you could see his concern for them while remaining lighthearted and approachable - this really highlighted that his bedside manner is just as impressive as his accolades. It is really refreshing to see someone who can balance the clinical and interpersonal aspects of healthcare. The cases our office needed assistance with ran the gamut from tricky lesions, pediatrics, geriatric care, to potential cancer concerns among others. There is no one else that I would refer to for anything pathology or oral medicine related whether it's a patient, friend, or family member. His new office is not only in a convenient location relative to whichever part of LA you're referring from or coming from, but it is absolutely stunning. It has a very clean and modern feel that is simultaneously warm and inviting so that patients can feel at ease. Look no further, if you have a question, Dr. Parish has the answer. I had a sore in my mouth. I went to my dentist to have it checked out. I was referred to Dr. Parish and was told he is a specialist in oral medicine and oral pathology. He was able to see me right away (this really helped bc I was so anxious), did a painless biopsy and I got my results so quickly. Luckily it wasn't cancerous but I did have to have it treated by him right away. He was gentle, knowledgeable and I highly recommend him. I had a sore in my mouth. Dr Sedghizadeh is kind and very knowledgeable. I saw him for a bacterial issue which he was able to diagnose in no time. But what set him apart from other doctors was that after I made a random remark that I had a headache, he did a facial exam and noticed I have a severe tmj issue that was affecting my left ear and hearing. His wealth of knowledge was very impressive and I highly recommend seeing him. Bonus is that his office staff is kind and competent- something rare these days. Dr. Parish is THE expert in oral pathology and medicine. There's no one I would rather send my specimens to than Dr. Parish to get the most accurate diagnosis. When I refer my patients to Oral Medicine and Pathology Center, I know they are in the best hands. He is not only a wealth of knowledge about all things related to oral medicine and pathology, but he is so incredibly passionate about what he does.
