I just got reminded of a diagnosis from this so-called Dr. by my grown Daughter. We no longer use Dr. W. & I don't know or understand how she still practices medicine. Don't take your kids to her. I'll save the long story, but one issue was telling my wife that our Daughter was about to die. We had other issues with her too, & she blamed us one time for not taking her recommendation to send our Daughter to a camp & claiming she was suffering from malnutrition This wanna be Dr. is horrible. We have been seeing both P.Wieland and Misty for 3 years now. Misty has always been very nice and thoughtful but made a critical mistake last week. Dr Wieland is self centered(always taking about her past life in Sweden and how her son had every disease my children were ever diagnosed every time we see her). I took my 4 year old to Dr. Wieland on Mon with some mild signs of skin infection. Dr. Wieland diagnosed her with Coxsackievirus(Hand, mouth and foot disease). She was very short, direct and a bit annoyed of me asking how can I treat my daughter knowing she has sensitive eczema skin. The spots quickly expended into blister wounds in the next 4 days. Concerned, I called back and talked to the nurse 3 times before Misty returned my call. In all these conversations the idea of me sending them an updated picture would have save us a week long battle at the ER and Children's hospital as now my kid has 40% of her body covered in blisters and horrific pain. The thought of them just telling me its all normal course without ever asking to see updated images(even though i suggested it) makes me very upset but also concerned about how they operate as an office(staff though, are wonderful always) but their processes need review. Testing patients with, flu, covid and strap every time before they are seen is a horrible experience for young children when their symptoms have nothing to do with it. If your leg hurts, get ready to get tested for above first. Doctors Mis-diagnose all the time and I understand that, but you as an office not taking parents concerns seriously enough is dangerous. Please make follow up calls after a diagnostic as we as parents rely on your advice on how to take best care of our babies. We are changing to another pediatrician immediately.

I take my son here and have seen multiple pediatric NPs and doctors, all have been patient and kind! As a new mom, it is comforting to know I am able to call at anytime with questions or concerns and get great direction and advice. Each staff member has been great! Thank you to these medical heroes!

We've been going to Dr Wieland for over 20 years. Best Dr ever. Takes great care of my children.

We stared using Dr. Weilands office starting in April of 2018 for the simple fact that she was Pro-Choice when it came to vaccines. Over the course of the 12 months or so we used her as our P.C., my son started daycare and was sick quiet often (totally normal and very common in the first few weeks and months any child starts daycare or school) he did however have several back to back ear infections, given antibiotics each time which didn’t help. Already feeling guilty for returning to work and having to place my LO in daycare, Dr. Weiland insist my LO was sick because we wouldn’t vaccinate then proceeded to tell us that he had pneumococcal and that I needed to be vaccinated. After being overwhelmed due to overuse of antibiotics and the nasty negative side effects that came with it I decided to take my LO to the chiropractor, within 24 hours of our first visit and having his C1 and C2 adjusted in his neck he was back to his happy normal self. (Funny how we needed a vaccine to fix that humm ????????‍♀️, ((eye roll)) About a month or so later my LO was sick again this time throwing up off and on, low grade fever and super fussy for nearly a week, I called to set up an appointment because at this point I was super concerned... she heard him over the phone and immediately told us to go to Children’s Hospital because it sounded to her like it was spinal meningitis. After getting in and having a check up the doctors there blankly told us we needed to find another doctor that no doctor should have given that kind of diagnosis over the phone.... needless to say it was just a really bad stomach virus. These two major accusations were made in the last few months we used her as our P.C. After spending thousands of dollars out of pocket I should have went with my gut and started off at Shine Pediatrics in Plano a honest Holistic doctors off where the P.C. believes in self healing and respects the parents decision regardless to what that might be. Any parents out there looking for a good honest doctor that respects your choice as a parent.... this one isn’t it. I don’t care how long a doctor is in practice, they are only practicing... they are not all knowing especially when it concerns my own child. To add: after about three months of daycare and building a good natural immune system my son has been great, he thrives and is doing perfect. I called to transfer my kids over and they can only take one of them because my oldest was 13. Really 13 , I thought the caught off age was 18.

Dr. Wieland is an excellent pediatrician. She was my children's pediatrician for years. She is very personable and knowledgeable. An example of how much she cares about the well being of children is when my son was an infant I took him in because I thought he had a cold, she checked him for RSV, and when the test came back positive she had me remain in the room and left and sprayed LYSOL Disinfectant Spray all down the hallways, in the other rooms and even had the parents that were in the waiting room that we had been in move to the other waiting area & sprayed that area down. She kept all the parents & children in that waiting area until we left the building. She had me go out the back door so that the other children would not come in contact with my son. I could go on and on about how much I respect both Dr. Wieland and Dr. London. They are both truly amazing!!!!! I was a very picky Mom & when I found Dr. Wieland I never left. It was worth the 80 miles round trip I drove every time!

Dr Wieland is a wonderful doctor, she makes you feel like a familymember, our daughter has been one of Dr.Wielands patient for 15 years would not trust any one else......The Khanchowdhury family

I have seen Wieland for 6 years now and she is so intelligent she knows her stuff. She does talk some but not manny doctors care to get to know you. So sometimes the wait is long sometimes not but it’s totally worth it for her. She’s has Called me from her cell phone to discuss things about my children. She is a awesome doctor and know every virus and sickness in the book she’s taken great care of my two boys

Dr Wieland is by far the best doctor I’ve ever encountered. Super knowledgeable and loves her patients. I am sad that my youngest is 17 and will not get to go to her much longer.

Dr. Wieland was born to be a pediatrician. She loves children and it shows in her interaction that her patients aren't just a business to her. I've never felt more comfortable with any other doctor I've encountered. I have been taking my children to Dr. wieland for the last seven years. Last week I tried to make an appointment for my infant. Last week as the only time I got thru the telephone system because I had been trying to make him an Appointment for a couple of weeks. They would not make an appointment because I mentioned that he had a weeze with his cough. They wanted to discuss how to take care of asthma on the phone. At that point I was pretty upset. I told them that this is not asthma.

Dr. Wieland was friendly during our visit but very abrupt. Overall I would say the medical care she provides is good but her bedside manner could really use some work. This may not bother some people, but to me it is very important. Among other things, when she left the room, she was talking loudly about some personal things with my son while she was in the hallway, for all the staff and other patients to hear. Not very professional. I don't think we will go back unless no one else is available.

My family has been going to Dr. Wieland for no less than 20 years. She saw me when I was a little girl, and now, I have the pleasure of being able to have her as my daughter's Doctor. I trust Dr. Wieland's opinion 100%. Her beside manners and patient care is amazing. The office staff is always very polite and respectful. Best pediatric Doctor around!

I realized today as I sent my 19 year old daughter to pick up her shot records that this has been her only doctor since day one.The level of service I have received from Dr. Wieland is amazing, she once meet me in the ER on a weekend because she was on call and worried about my daughters fever. I could not have trusted her more with my daughters care. Thank you for all you did for us Dr. Wieland

Awesome pediatrician

She talks a lot, but not to the kids. Just too the adult in the room. And not necessarily about anything relevant to the appointment.

We haven't seen Dr. Wieland in quite some time, but she was an invaluable doctor to my family when my daughters were young. She took very good care of them as they suffered from recurring strep and when two of my daughters contracted RSV. We will always remember her fondly as an integral part of their childhood!

Does not communicate well with parents. She often leaves the room and doesn't even say goodbye so you are left wondering if you are done with the appointment. I've witnessed an altercation with another parent because she is very slow. In my case, she misdiagnosed my child and we switched to another doctor.

Our children's pediatrician for 22+ years now. She is contentious, knowledgeable and concerned about every aspect of their lives and provides the highest level of care.

I have had her as my doctor for 10 years. I am now an adult, and she was a wonderful doctor. She may have an ego sometimes, but thats necessary for what she does. She has given me awesome recommendations for doctors in the area, and scheduled me a surgery once and saw to it herself even though it isn't her specialty. She is abrupt, honest, and loves a good joke. She takes no crap from anyone, and is always professional. Best medical care I've ever had.

Amazing doctor, she's very thorough and honest. She informs of every possible outcome with any situation. And her staff is so wonderful!

She suggested some horrible tests for my 2 year old daughter. She seems like she just wants to crank the bill up and run lots of unnecessary , invasive and expensive tests. She's very condescending in her manner if you dare ask her a question and she has a judgemental manner in which she tells you basically how you should be raising your children.
